I'll admit, I'm not the biggest fan of Pokemon. I have a friend's Game Boy's Blue version that he didn't want anymore, and that's about it. This game really isn't worth getting if you don't have a Game Boy Pak, but it does come with the Transfer Pak, which is nice. Anyway, down to the specifics:

Graphics- These are some of the better graphics on the N64. Watch as an Electrode busts out a Thunder or as Golduck uses Surf, all on a big screen. 8.5/10
Play Control- It's just as easy as the Game Boy games, and control is really not used in much of it. The menus are easy to navigate and the minigames don't take much effort to play. 7.8/10
Game Design- This is basically just the battling feature of the Game Boy games. There are also minigames if you're tired of fighting. An interesting note is that you can store your Game Boy Pokemon on the N64, start a new game on the Game Boy, and then transfer back your traded Pokemon. 8/10
Satisfaction- At the prices it's going for now it's worth it, even when I got it for $$$$ it was worth it(especially because of the Transfer Pak). 7.9/10
Sound- The sound effects and music are appropriate, but the announcer gets old really fast. 7.4/10
Overall- It's worth a rent, and if you're a Pokefan you'll want this in your collection, but otherwise...

Pokemon Stadium is the funnest game. I played it at a store, and I got instatly addicted. It's a really fun game and you should buy it. The game boy versions of it were very good, but now you get to fight in 3-D. It even includes a transfer pack to download your favorite pokemon from game boy versions!

This game is fun because you can battle your pokemon against each other. It is also cool because you can transfer pokemon from your gameboy to the nintendo system. This is how I am able to use Mew in battle. I also enjoy the mini games - they are easy to learn and fun. I recommend this game to anyone who is a pokemon fan!

This game was okay. I really liked the mini games. I also liked the place where you could play your game boy game on your nintendo 64. The transferpack feature is also really cool

Very fun and addicting!

Alright, I confess: I am addicted to this game. I'm seeking an Al-Anon-type support group for those addicted to Pokémon Stadium. I am a Pokémon Stadium addict!

I'm not one to be found in arcades, or sitting in front of a TV at home, playing games 24/7. In fact, to get me to regularly play a game, the game would have to have variety, multi-player madness, and be appealing to me. It takes a good bit to hold my interest.

This game scored an A+ in all those catogories. My favourite parts? Mini-games! Just watch as I lapp up as much sushi as I can for my personal goal of eating the most plates of sushi in Sushi-go-round. I do not care for the score, I just want to beat out all the other players and eat the most sushi!

Hah, Clefairy Says is also one I am fond of. If I am not actually striving to beat the game, i am usually seeing how many weird and whacky moves I can do before I am malleted out of the game.

The "Free-battle" is also a very fun option. I do not play games religiously, but when i do, I'm out for fun. Not to conquer the game.

The only qualms I have against this game that prevented me from giving it a full five stars? The limited selection of rental Pokémon.

I lack a GameBoy. *Sniffles* And I eagerly anticipated the release of this game so i could beat the crud out of the other players with my favourite Pokémon in glorious 3-D! But, once I scrolled down the list to access my Pokémon of choice, I was shocked to discover *gasp* that Mewtwo wasn't available for rental! AUGH! The horror!

So, I decided, maybe I want to play around in the nifty Photo Gallery. So, i scrolled down the list and *gasp* he wasn't there, either! NOOOO! How horrid!

Instead, he's a "final boss" of sorts. And if you're lucky, and have a GameBoy, only then can you dabble around the game with Mewtwo in 3-D.

Even so, the game is still very fun. And addicting. very addicting. Very VERY addicting...

"Hello, I'm Darkwing Mewtwo... and I'm addicted to Pokémon Stadium."

"Hello Darkwing Mewtwo!"

Yes, as I was saying... addicting...

What about Gold and Silver?

I say it alone: What about Pokemon Gold and Silver? They are not compatible with this game. So what will Nintendo do, put out a whole new version of this game, that will be compatible? If they do that, then they would have to include Red, Blue, and Yellow, and by doing this, Pokemon Stadium is out of the picture. Otherwise, the gameplay is great. The 3D graphics are astounding, but it would have been better if the Pokemon actually ATTACKED the other Pokemon, instead of making some kind of magical twirly move. Oh, and what about us more mature PokeManiacs? Those little games that can be played are nice...for 5 year olds. I man, c'mon Nintendo...I've been a faithfull gamer since the beginning, but I don't know if I can stand for this one. I give it a two. And, when the time comes to make a new Pokmon Stadium, I hope the developers at Nintndo acknowledge these points.

Dont get it!

This game out of all games should be counted the worst gameever made on nintendo64 and all the other great systems. Its graficsare so fake that a baby wouldnt believe it. When you do an attack, they dont really hit them. Also, its no fun because you just pick an attack for them to do and you dont even do the attack yourself. It is the most boring game ever made in the world. The characters are bigger, but stupider. When you pick an attack, you just have to hope that it doesnt miss. So if you decide to buy this game, think again. You are going to regret it badly. Your just wasting your money on something that dosent even make sense or is not even fun.

The Pros: This game has very good graphics, the best I've seen on Nintendo 64 so far except for several shots from Zelda. Second, this game is not just battling: you can play a few mini-games, check your items, and assemble effective teams. Third, it has various challenges, like cups and trying to get Mewtwo. Finally, you can play your gameboy cartridge pokemon game on the big screen t.v., courtesy of the transfer pak and pokemon tower emulator. It even has a speedup button so you can play the game at double speed! The Cons: Battle after battle and mini-game after mini-game makes you tired after a while. I rented the game and now I'm ready to give it back. Overal: Very Good, gets tiring after too much frenzied play.

It's not worth it without a game boy game...

Finally, it's here! And it rocks. Die-hard pokemon fans will be all over this, but if you're not a die-hard pokemon fan, rent first. The graphics and new attack animations are nothing less than I expected, and there are many tournaments to enter, plus 9 super-fun mini games. There are rental pokemon to use, but you really need a GB pokemon game pack to enjoy the game. Buy it if you have a GB pack, but buy the game boy game first if you don't have one.
