People Who Hate Poke- Fighting Should Avoid This Game

Shoot, how much fighting can a game hold? The game will smash, crash, mutilate, maim, injure, impale, crush, smush, bruise, batter, crack, bash, bang up, destroy, maul, throw, kick, punch, blow up, total, K.O., and most importantly, beat up your Pokemon. Ouch, huh? The attacks in this game are in glorious 3D, so that is a plus. But the sounds! Ewww! When they make their sounds, you're not sure whether it came from their mouth or the complete opposite. And when fighting a fire-type, it's like being in a japanese steakhouse. There should be a mode where you can choose to be cooked rare, medium, or well done. The game's graphics will amaze you, but it can get old.

Difficult, but addictive!

The game is infinitely easier if you have Pokemon of your own in a Game Boy cartridge. Even after beating the game, many trainers are still challenging. No two battles are the same!

Unless you are a pokemon fanatic/maniac DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

Long version - I liked the TV show and the Pokemon Red and Blue games. Pokemon has been over hyped (in my opinion)since the beggining. In the beggining it was a wonderful thing. Now with all the merchandise and such it plain sucks. If Nintendo had kept it at the TV show and the first two games I would still be a fan but instead I'm selling my stuff as fast as I can on ebay. If you aren't utterly completely and totally mad about Pokemon do not buy this game.

Short version - Unless you really, really, really, really, really, really like Pokemon do not buy this game.

As a Pokemon fan, I had high expectations for a cool sounding game. However, after I got this game for my birthday, a day later I took it back because it's the worst game ever made. I would give this game no stars if I could. The graphics are terrible and blurry. It doesn't have all of the moves. If you have been considering buying this game, PLEASE, CLEAR YOUR MIND OF IT AND BUY SOME OTHER GAME CUZ THIS ONE IS TERRIBLE. YOU WILL WASTE YOUR DOLLARS ON IT.

this game is the best pokemon game nintendo has made in my opinion but the stadiums that you fight in realy bite (exept for the gyms) also you can't work your pokemon up.And after you go through all the work to trade back that pokmon to your game boy and work it up you just press the button and it does the atack and thats all you dobut still it is realy fun for a while it might just be me but i think it realy bites that they let mewtwo or mew battle because it is just an easy win so you decide

I bought an N64 just for this game. It is great at the beginning, You can fight in the many tourneys available and also challenge the Gym Leaders too. I even fought against Mewtwo!

However, it is pretty predictable after a while, esp if you get beaten by a particular trainer, you can anticipate his moves as the programming is static, not dynamic, just the same as the gameboys.

but it is alot of fun, esp the fun games and the vs mode. Wish it was more violent though. the pokemon do not actually come into contact with each other when fighting,

I sold the set already, i forsee pokemon will lose its appeal in about 2 to 3 yrs before another fad comes around. maybe they call it human mon then.

What is the point of this game. To put you to sleep with pitiful battles between electron molecules. That's what I think. If you want a good game like that get Soul Caliber for Sega Dreamcast or Soul Caliber 2 for Nintendo Game Cube
