always be yoshi or toad they are faster than anyone else i beat the game everytime my favorite level is koopa troopa beach which has a huge cheat this game has o.k. sound but that doesn't matter when it has graphics like this it doesn't have the best controlling i recommend this for 4 to 100

I think the game is okay. With sixteen tracks, four levels, it makes it good. It also has four battle tracks, so four people can play. It has okay graphics, I thought.

Overall, this game is great. Packed with 16 tracks, you'll spend hours trying to get outstanding times in time trial mode and snagging all of the gold medals in GP mode. Even with 4 players, the graphics hold their ground in terms of frame rate, detail, and sense of speed. The only thing preventing this game to get 5 out of 5 stars is the level of challenge. I grabbed every gold medal within 1 week. The bottom line is that Mario Kart 64 is worth buying.................

I don't own this game but I rent it out of BlockBusters AND I own the Super Nintendo version(with 13 other games!) It's alot like the S.N.E.S version with the same 8 drivers Mario, Luigi, Princess, YOSHI(!), Toad, Bowser, Donkey Kong (jr) and the bezt Koopa.Also the other dude Wario. The levals are slightly differant like Choco Island-Choco Mountian, Koopa Beach-Koopa Troopa beach and there are some oldies like a Bowser Castle and a new one Rainbow road. there are five cups like the old one: Mushroom, Flower, Star and SPECIAL! I don't know what the Special S.N.E.S one is like but it must have rainbow road in SPECIAL CUP.

HINT: In the Battle Mode try putting items in the place where the other racer will be put down when she falls of the edge or surround her with items! Loads of fun give it a try!

Gotta book it!

I think this would make a great toy for all ages. First of all, it stays fun. If you are an expert at the game, you will still have a challenge, because the computer gives your opponents (computer operated) a little boost to catch up to you and keep you racing for first. This can also be disappointing, because if you aren't good, or you mess up while in the lead, they stick with that little boost and 'dust you' to put it simply. It keeps you on your toes, but sometimes it can be quite infuriating (like when you keep falling in water over and over and over). It is a great game.

This is a great Mario racing game.

I've played both this game and the original *Super Mario Kart* for the SNES, and I like this game better. This is more than just an excellent game! The soundtrack is awesome! This is my second favorite N64 game, Super Mario 64 being the very best. I recommend it to you if you like Super Mario 64, too, and if you like fantasy racing games.

This is probably the best racing game ever! It's sorta kinda childish, but who who gives! It's still very fun! The Star Cup and Special Cup are the best! I think it's a lot better than the Super NES game. I think both versions are equal in battle mode. I recommend this to racing and Mario fans.

I don't know how any one couldn't like this game. This is the best Nintendo64 game ever. The opponents don't cheat at all. Sometimes they might recover a little faster, but it makes it funner to try to beat them. You have a wide variety of players, ways to play, and tracks to choose from. The graphics are pretty good too. This game is awesome!

I liked the original, but by making Kart 3D it improved the game vastly. The game is great. The only problem is the squeaky voices of the characters, and I would have rated 5 stars, but they took out Koopa Troopa. He was the best.

This is a great Racing Video Game.

This game is especially fun because you get all of Nintendo characters along with colorful cars. I like it because more than one can play and my sister likes it too.
