finally we get co-op

I must admit that the co-op mode of this game makes it worth buying right away especially for those of you who have someone to play the game with. if not the xbox live is another option and the game only gets better online. as for the single player...well the story isnt all that great but its decent. overall great game,great graphics, tons of fun :)

This game beats everything out of the other two. The story line is much better and is as much fun as the first splinter cell, and the multiplayer is a gstep up from Pandora Tommorrow, which, by the way, someone said they didnt know why is was released... the one player was bad, yah, but it was the most innovative online game, and Chaos Theroy only adds to that with new weapons, maps, and even online co-op.

I just recently got this game and i am very pleased. The AI are smarter so its actually realistic.

There are so many different things you can do. Its pretty amazing. You can climb on walls and crack peoples necks and so many other things. You can't get bored.

If you are a fan of shooters, than this game fits your needs. This game gives you a choice of stealth play or shooting play. the developers made this game so that you could choice to complete the game stealth like, or you can shoot everyone and still win.

Another thing that pleased me about this game is the coop. This coop mode tests your skills of working together. It makes it so you HAVE to work together to win. You can play with your friend on the same system or you can play coop online!(Which is the first time on any game in history you can play online coop.)

The only thing that is dumb about the game is multiplayer. They got this mercinaries vs spies thing that i don't follow. Its kind of a dumb idea. You can only have 4 people on line in one game. ONLY FOUR PEOPLE!(Thats pitiful)

Overall this is a pretty fun game. The reason I gave it four stars is because the multiplayer is boring and the solo can get a little boring. I recommend this game to anybody who is a fan of strategy.

GAMEPLAY:- slow paced , fun at times , map are laid out nicley.8/10

GRAPHICS:- nice shadows but overall graphics are very unrealistic. everything is shiny!! water looks likw=e clay , skin on people's faces are even shiny.7/10

SOUND/MUSIC:- good sound effects but a terrible music score. amon tobin's score is not good , location of mood music is all over the place.7/10

VALUE:- Okay singleplayer , excellent multiplayer.9/10

TILT:- good but could have been alot better , a very disapointing musical score , unrealistic "shiny" graphics, slow paced gameplay , but excellent multiplayer.

OVERALL SCORE :- 3/5 stars ***

Like many people, I like to review games before their street date is even certain, but I can say this. I am previewing this game so that people in the real world can read my opinion on the progress of this game as of this date.
In Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, there will be many new maps, there will be a knife so that you don't just get to knock enimies unconscious after grappling them, and there will be amazing graphics and gameplay. It is extremely anticipated amongst hardcore Splinter Cell fans, and fans of Tom Clancy.
I would like to introduce my new rating system for previews and reviews; it's called the w00tability scale. This has a mark out of 10. 10 being good or "I can't wait for this game to ship", 5 being ok, or "This game doens't pwn, but it's still fun to play when there's nothing else", and 0-1 being horrible, or as people on NewGrounds plainly say "Blam This Piece of Crap!"

The 3rd Splinter Cell Game Wuz Amazing And I Heard There Already Making A 4th Anyways Back To The 3rd For Now I Havent Beaten It Yet Cuz I Jus Got It Last Week But I Think Im Almost Done Not Sure Yet But So Far All I Can Say Is That Its Realli Amazing I Wuznt Expectin This I Didnt Think They Could Out Do They Last One That Much But I Guess I Wuz Wrong The Games Graphics Are Ridiculous Its Jus Crazy They Made It More Realistic And Everythin I Liked How U Can Pick If U Wanna Go In Wit Assualt Or Stealth And It Shows U The Different Ammo U Get I Jus Think This Game Is Down Right Ridiculous U DEFINETLY Need To Get It U'll Love It For Any System X-Box, PS2, Comp Jus Wutever U Have Get It It'll Be Good On Any System

Its okay its quite fun better than Splinter Cell 1 and 2:Pandora tommorow.But this game is nothing to be compared to Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater,or any Metal Gear Solid game for that matter.The Inverted Neck Breaker is fun and is the combat knife.The only way someone would prefer SC3 to MGS3 is if they like Realistic Stealth or if you are an Xbox fanboy or girl(no offence)-MGS3 carries more.There are lots of reasons i prefer MGS3 over SC3.
1)MGS3 has better gameplay,like camoflaging,boss fights,etc.
2)MGS3 has the RICHEST story of lots-the MGS3 story is a mixture of action,War,romance,thriller,horror,sadness,uhh PATRIOTISM!
3)best characters-everyone is fully envolved-ppl like Snake,EVA,The Boss,Major Tom,Col. Volgin and so on.
4)Best environment-The Jungle,and is very interactive you can climb trees,hunt animals,fishing-Also u get traiditional MGS inside environments-Exactly the same with cardbord boxes,lockers but you can now blow up storages,armories and food stores-These affect the gurads as they need food and weapons to be able to be stable and eliminate you.

SC3 is still good-i just prefer MGS3.Still ADD BOTH to your stealth games collection.

Listen up! All this stuff people say here does sound true. I did check the Splinter Cell website and it looks like the people here are not lying.

Just remember one thing...anything can happen. I am sure you know Halo 2. Before the game was released, we heard all this stuff like how we would be able to peek around corners, how there were all these different types of Warthogs and other vehicles, etc. Some of the stuff we heard (stuff that we really believed) turned out to be false. Also, in Halo (the first one on the Xbox), people thought the flamethrower would be available. Well, they took it out shortly before the release. I am not saying that this game here is good or bad, I am just saying that anything can happen before the final release.

the first splinter cell game was amazing. It was fun to play and had great graphics. The best part of the original Splinter Cell was that it took more than a day to beat. I'm sorry but why in the world Pandora Tomarrow was ever released is beyond me. It was just as fun as the first game, but only half as long. If a third Splinter Cell game is to be released I'm sure it will be visually great and fun to play, but if anyone can beat the game in less than five hours then why even bother? Maybe they should wait until Splinter Cell four is released and just add the two games together! Chaos theory has great potential, but if it only has eight levels-and half of them are real short, than this game is not worth buying. just spend the five bucks or whatever to rent it, cause you wont need to keep it for more than one night.

Pathetic.......
