This is by far one of my most favorite games right now. I don't really have the money to buy it but I've been renting it from the movie store, and I can't put it down. This is one of the most addicting games I've ever played. There is nothing better than sneeking behind a guy so close you can read the label on his coat and then stabbing your knife into his back and dropping him without a sound, or ripping your hand through a paper thin canvis and pulling a guy through it. This game has more ways to take out your enemies than the first two. Such as now being able to choose between lethal attacks when your near an enemy or just knocking them out. One lethal move is when you approach an enemy from the front, Fisher pulls out his knife and grabs the guy head and forces it down while stabbing him below the shoulder blade all by pulling the right trigger. Or if you pull the left trigger and your behind someone then Fisher will pull out his knife and hit them with the handle in the side of the head and knock them out. There are countless other things fisher can do to take out his enemies. The enemy AI is amazingly done, they will notice little things like a door open or a light turned off. My complaints are that the maps are horrible, they provide almost no help. Also some of the missions have some really hard puzzles to solve, for those reasons I would give it four and a half stars but I'll settle for five.

This game is glorious. I'd place it right under Halo, Halo2, Half-Life2 and right above Doom3 in the top 5 best xbox games of all time. There are a few hooks that simply make this game fun.
- Graphics are beautiful. Really gorgeous.
- Soundtrack/score is top notch (Amon Tobin). Listen to the track during the boat mission in which you toss people overboard. It's more beautiful than most Hollywood scores. There is some additional music from fake rock bands scattered throughout the game on radios for a nice touch. Even the added touch of foreign computers having their own particular cultural sounds when you turn them on/off. When a game designer goes to these lengths, you really have something worth while.
- Cool new moves. Ability to knock people over and pull them down from ledges is cool. Grab them through Japanese paper doors. Knock them out from behind doors. All a lot of fun. Game also reminds you how to do them while loading. Good touch.
- Items/gadgets still cool, hacking is especially cool
- They lightened up on the alarms concept
- As with other Splinter Cell games, the scope is global and these spy agencies are real. I like the multi-cultural immersion.
- Co-op with modified levels
- Long game
- Glitch free. No consulting the internet to figure out what went wrong.
- The story doesn't blame everything on Arabs or Islamic fundamentalism. The bad guys are a combo of home grown and global. At one point, you are technically "at war".
- Solid upgrade overall over other splinter cell games.
No complaints here folks.

I haven't played this game a whole lot yet. However I have played and learned enough to know what I need to know. First the graphics are phenominal. No complaints on the graphics, they are a huge improvement and a reason enough to buy the game. Many people are raving about this game, but in my opinion and what should be other's opinions: The series really sold out. Splinter Cell is about STEALTH, it is about something unlike any other games. This 3rd installment really destroys that originality. First, the gameplay, Sam is a agent meant to be undetected, shooting and contact is a last resort, but in here it is the game. There are NO alarms!!! What is that??? The series is built on sneaking and breaking into, now it is just a lot of shooting. And why give him a knife? Why give him hand to hand combat moves???? That is NOT what it is about! Very very sad that they resorted to making this a shooting game. The story is also ridiculous, the first two were slightly exagerated for effect but considerably realistic, this game is like a 007 movie. Also it is very very short. The enemies are finally given some AI but it doesn't matter because the game structure is so different. It is very sad that the original Splinty will be the best forever. The series had so much potential. The first was one of the best games ever, the 2nd was great but ver very short with a half written story with no plot twists, and now the 3rd is a series destroying game. It will really sell out the series and there will most likely be many more but the character and mystique of the game is long long gone.

Splinter Cell chaos Therory's graphics blow halo 2's out of the water. The online play is very fun and challenging. The gameplay is fun but i will admitt it is easier than the first 2 splinter cell's. People are complaining about this turing into a shooter by being able to pick an assualt choice for your weapon package......well if you want stealth dont pick that package!! The storyline is really interesting and adds up(i wont give it away here) but u will enjoy this game if you liked the other splinter cells!!
Great game only one complaint.

I love this game the graphic and every thing is real solid and impressive. The end of the game is really cool. This game puts all other stealth games to shame. My only complaint is that I can't seem to figure out how to equip the sniper rifle. I select the sniper rifle attachment at the beginning of each applicable level, but for some reason I always get the standard Sc-20k. The book and the training video talk about the sniper rifle, but don't say any thing about how to equip it. Is my game messed up or what's the deal? Someone please write in a review and tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong so I don't have to go out and buy the strategy guide.
Thanks
Great STEALTH game

First, I dont have xbox live. I'm sure its awesome though. This game is really good. I tried to play the 1st S.Cell and gave up. This 3rd one was a lotta fun and I never gave up on it. The graphics are good but not "the best ever" like everyone is saying. Most of the game is played in the dark and shadows so the graphics aren't really a factor. If you want spectacular graphics then you need to play The Chronicles Of Riddick game. That game has awesome graphics in the dark AND in broad daylight. I haven't seen better graphics than that game yet, but correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, you cant go wrong with this game. Rent it or buy it, it doesnt matter. Just get it and start playing.
Good game, but has small annoyances

This game is fun to play, especially the coop. But there are several small problems that are annoying. First off, it has long intro it plays every time you play, I would prefer it not to load this but to just take you to the menu, then load this if you leave your Xbox sitting there. Also, in the main menu you can load any save, but then when you fail a mission, it only has retry which is the most recent save. Sometimes a save can be at the wrong point, then you have to exit, go back, and eload, the right one. Then you have to save it so that it will become the "retry mission". When you exit the multiplayer it then goes back and reloads the movie that already played when you started the game, I know that it just plays so your not looking at a screen that says loading, but couldn't they just not have a movie and speed up the loading just that much more. I would still recommend this game, I just hope they Iron some of this basic stuff out on Splinter Cell 4.

I am pretty excited for this game, I watched the trailer on xbox.com and thought it was pretty cool. I own Splinter Cell: Stealth Action Redefined and I rented Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. I hope this game turns out to be cool.

I realy dont like stealth games that much, but this game of course caught my eye i just started playing the splinter cell games and im almost done with pandora tomorow. But i just got this one the day it came out and it was amazing ,theres alot more action than the last games even though i only played a little bit of the single player mode but i played the co op mode which is a first for splinter cell and it is amazing best co op iv played in years ,with very unique ways of solving puzzles and killing enemies and it makes the game alot easier with the help of your friend ,but thats just the co op even though i just got started with the single player you can tell already its more action packed and more weapons are at your disposale, like an attachable shot gun a knife and armor piercing bullets to add on. This is the best stealth game ever especialy on the x box so guy but it to day its fun as hell and not nearly as boring as the other splinter cells wich got on my nerves alot . Trust me buy it on x box you get your moneys worth
