After all thy hype I expected much more for my $50 bucks. the graphics were alright, x-box live was horrible as i kept getting booted and had a hard time finding matches and the lack of adjustment for controller sensitivity to help vehicle control made for less than expected gameplay. i'll stick with colin mcrae until microsoft gets this one right.

GT4 is really good. Forza is just the same, if not better. The level of detail, realism, etc. just cannot be beat. This is truly the Xbox's Gran Turismo.

My family (husband, sons, daughter), are having so much fun with this game! The have so many ways to interact with each and tease each other, and are even finding ways to "steal" from each other with Forza.
It is good clean fun and friendly competition. My husband is a race car fan and is especially pleased with all the options and reality-based factors on the cars.
I would recommend this game to most families.

Nice, but Gran Turismo or Project Gotham 3 is better.

Forza is a decent game but I can't help but compare it to Gran Turismo 3 for PS2 or Project Gotham 3 for xbox 360. Mainly because of the fact that it doesn't have an inside (cockpit) view. I hope Forza 2 coming out for the 360 will have this option. For a true simulator, like what Forza claims to be, an inside view is essential. It's just not realistic seeing only the road in front of you.

NOTE: I'm playing Forza which was originally developed for regular Xbox on an Xbox 360 console. I was able to download an update as soon as I loaded the game, but there are still glitches. Mainly the car's sound that I'm driving dissappears (but not the other cars) on most of the harder tracks. This is rather annoying as I rely a lot on the sound of my engine when I'm racing.

I don't know where this game came from; I don't care where this game from, all I know is I am glad it is here. This game came out of nowhere, at a time where many of my online group was suffering from "Halo Burnout" and has rejuvenated our online gaming experience. This game is a hell of a lot of fun for both single player modes and multi-player modes. There is so much in this game, with so many different cars and different options you can make just about any customizable race experience imaginable. Into the Honda/Mitsubishi/Subaru car customizations? This game has it. Would you prefer NASCAR style racing? This game has it. Think you have the perfect design for a custom car and just want to show it off? This game can hook you up. Features:
-Over a hundred different types of cars from manufacturers such as Honda, Mitsubishi, Ford, Dodge, Audi, Volkswagen, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche just to name a few.

I am not a racing fan, but this game is definitely one of my all time favorite Xbox games. A must have.

I recently got myself an XBox and was advised to rent and try before I buy. Blockbuster was out of Halo2 so I got this one home to try it out (I am a big fan of racing).

Before I say anything further I'd have to mention that this is my very first game on XBox so I cannot compare it to any other games.

Was I glad I rented it? Yes, Will I buy it? Yes.

It's a little pricey at $40+ when compared to other games but then again it has a great game in it.

As for the game itself it has a whole bunch of race tracks and customizable cars (categorized into Classes from R to D) with time trials, free runs and ofcourse the race arcades themselves.

I'd suggest spending $7 and renting it before paying $40+ for your own copy.

This is a good game to buy. It has a wide variety of cars and courses. The graphics look amazingly real and the cars appear to handle with the same accuracy. Great all around game. There are also countless ways to customize any car that you own. This is a must for any racing collection.

Great for all styles of driving.

If you like drifting, adjust your settings, and you can. If you just like to customize cars, you can do that. This is an amazing game, and for the price...just buy it.
