I got this game because it came with my gamecube. It is an average okay game. Some parts are boring and hard while other parts are easy and fun. If you want to buy this game don't pay full price, buy it old or used ...becase on a scale of A,B,C,D,F it deserves a C.

Well as you know Mr. Mario has been around since the first donkey kong jr. game in which he first apperred, producing game after game, after game. This may be the best mario game ever introduced into the system. This time you go to a clean, peace loving, shinning island for a vacation, when he lands, however, he is greated by an imposter mario called shadow mario that is messing up the island with slime. Then you get this robot pump named F.L.U.D.D. (created by Dr. Gadd, the same on that makes the vacume in luigi's mansion) that you need in order to beat the game. Mario is thow in jail and is ordered to clean the entire island and then he can leave. The mario game itself is long. Like other games, it starts out easy and gets very hard. your goal in the game is to gather shine sprites and make the island clean. Later in the game you get new parts for F.L.U.D.D. and you can get yousi. In this game he can't swim.

I got this great game yesterday, and found out how fun it was! All the levles are huge, and I'm one of those simple people who thinks $1,000,000 is huge!

It rocks, no matter what any PS2 owner says!

I'll tell you one thing, it was an excellent game. It brings back what we saw on Mario 64. It might be a good thing, but, to tell you the truth, I expected more. As an old school Mario fan, i've learned that he always surpasses his last game. It was an easy game to pass. I got dissapointed that Bowser was so easy, whereas many of the other levels were way harder. I'ts great that it has an alternative ending, but if you're the type of person with no patience in finding hard blue coins, i don't blame ya.
Overall, it's a great game. Being a Mario fan i didn't hesitate to buy the game, i was disappointed of the easyness, but i always enjoy a great Mario game.

This game is great. I couldn't get to the flooding part even though i beat the right level. So I have not beat the game yet.I still think the game is great game even though my game is a bit messed up.

i just bought the new game from nintendo, mario sunshine. its entertaining, but it has a couple weak points.
# 1: The camera view. i cant tell you how many times i've died because i couldn't even see mario.
#2 Underwater controls. the underwater controls are the most frustrationg controls i've ever had to use in a nintendo game. if you're trying to fight an underwater boss, you'll just hopelessy drift around while you slowly get killed.
If u can live with these two problems, buy this game!

I think that mario 64 was better, still this one is very good. Much, Much better than Lugis Mansion! The only part of the game that is very bad is the camera... terrible! But the rest is just fun. Buy it, rent it, anything... it is fun! I wont gve 5 star because the camera. Proximo q venha!!

I thought this game was a really fun game and really easy.
I got this game last year for christmas and it has been my favorite ever since! The graphics are good and it even won the nintendo award for best water graphics.

i just beat the game the 10/20/03 and I was so happy but to fully beat the game you need 120 shine sprites or (lil sunny things). Its filled with mini games and sob stpries but if you have patience you wouldnt mind this game. p.s. the only reason I got this game was because it came with the G-Cube.
