A really great game!!

My sister and I have had this game for a while now and we still love to play it! It has a ton of levels and it never gets boring! It is totally worth the money and we would recommend it! It is sort of a strange plot, but anyway, it really engages us! The only problem we had with it was when we bought it we didn't know it was only for one player, but that doesn't matter because you can make multiple accounts. We would give this game 100 stars if we could. We sometimes let our 4 year old brother play it but he just runs around in circles and looses so do'nt buy it for little kids. Buy this for a kid who is into Mario stuff and they won't be able to stop thanking you!

Super Mario Sunshine isn't as good as the other Mario games but it's still packed with loads of fun, puzzles and "other stuff" to have you playing for hours and hours. The one thing I like about this game is that it's somewhat similar to the others as there are different worlds to go to. The other good thing is that it's not SIMPLE to beat. Some of the worlds and/or places are a challenge, if you don't cheat (by guide or internet), this game may have you frustrated for a bit...maybe that's because I never listen to anyone, I just push the A button real quick so I don't have to sit there and talk to them (no patience). But I suggest that's the better thing to do unless you are COMPLETELY stuck that you're losing your mind. Mario has his E.Gadd (water pumper) which is actually a pretty nifty gadget. I love how you can float upwards and zoom across the water. Yoshi is back as well and a fun part of the game. The worst parts of Yoshi are he needs a certain fruit to open his shell and secondly, he can't go into the water or he'll disappear into thin air. This game is fun. If you don't like fun, puzzling games then this isn't for you but if you loved the other Mario games, I recommend you buy it. It's worth the price for you can replay it as much as you want (similar to the works of Super Mario 64) and the graphics are good. The sunglasses are kind'a cool too. Nice control and wonderful game play.

first of all mario starts out a little stupid and babyish but it gets a lot better as it goes on.I thought it was going to be a stupid baby game to until i played it.At first it is a little hard but it gets easyer as it goes on because you know what to do.it stats out that a water verson of mario starts putting pultion every where and the police make a drowing of him but the drowing looks just like mario.but as you get in the game you will soon find out that the water mario is really baby bowser and the real bowser told him presices Peach was hes mom so he goes and kidnaps Peach and you have to go thought a lot of hard races,and things like that i have not betten the game but i am at the 23 shine spirets.i have betten the game of the 3 marios on the super nintendo i have betten the one on the nintendo 64,i have betten luigis mansion to so as you can tell i am a big mario fan.

By word of mouth and by ignorant thoughts, people seem to think that the main point of this game is to clean. Well, I as well as everyone who has the game knows that is not true. The idea of this extremely fabulous game is to clear MArio's name by completing missions.I describe this game as a much more fun Super Mario 64. A sudden twist midway through the game is very shocking and unexpected. This game is definately worth [$$$].So, if you have extra money and want to buy a game, GET THIS ONE!!!!

This game is the best I played ever. It has good graphics good story line lots of adventure many many enimes lots of paint. You could also find Yoshi in this game its two in one not like Super Mario 64. I bot this game a week ago and I bot a players guide and a memory card. I love this game its the best. If your getting a gamecube get this game SuperMarioSunshine remmember its only for gamecube.You could also see for the first time bowser son.HE is small compare to his dad bowser.This game is prety hard but not much.

The most recognizable character in the video game world has finally returned in his new game, Super Mario Sunshine. I loved Super Mario 64, and the new game picks up where that game left off. Pleasantly, Mario has almost all the same jump skills that were available in Mario 64. A nice touch for those of us that enjoyed the acrobatic skills necessary to win Super Mario 64. Enhancing these jump manuevers is the new FLUDD water pack. A versatile tool to allow Mario greater freedom, and has seemingly inspired larger, taller levels from the Nintendo developers. The levels are fantastic - great 3-dimensional settings to challenge any Mario player. My only gripe would be that the levels may seem a bit too similar at times, a side-effect of the story setting (Mario is stuck on a resort island). All in all, Nintendo has once again delivered an amazing and addictive Super Mario game. I highly recommend it.

Do I have to say more? I mean, the graphics are great, the music is great (in Episodes like "The secret of Dirty Lake", the music played is the same music played in a Super Mario game from way back when...), the idea is great, and it's really easy to understand, even without reading the instructions or getting the Super Mario Cheat COdes book, this game is by far the best on the Gamecube System.

Again a mastpiece by MIYAMOTO!

This Mario game is beyond my expectation. After purchasing Luigi's Mansion, I was disapointed by how short the game as well as other things. THIS GAME IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THAT! This is a very well thought out game that has a ton of replay value and it takes a very long time before you are able to collect all the possible 120 shines! The only thing I really dislike about this game is that it is for one player only!!! They should have made a multie player with Luigi! Overall a great game to rent of buy if you are that diehard Mario or Miyamoto fan!!!

Great game with so so graphics.The game still is fun though.

Okay when I first heard about Super Mario Sunshine in August I thought it was going to better than it really is. I guess its just wishful thinking but this could be considered a tasty appetizer to Super Mario 128 if that game isnt just a rumor.
Dont get me wrong though the game is only slightly disappointing.There are numerous things to do in this game and they are quite addictive. The graphics could have been a lot better I mean except for the secret courses I like the graphics in Super Mario 64 better. Also the musical score in Sunshine isnt bad but it really doesnt match the excellent melodies 64 had.
The battles,races,and other things are very fun.Still it could have been done better/
We should cut Super Mario a little slack because if the rumor of a Super Mario 128 turns out to be true then we can consider Super Mario Sunshine as a tasty little appetizer for Super Mario 128 which if it turns out to be a true game could be the best damn Mario game since Super Mario Allstar's version of Super Mario Bros 3.Hopefully it will be an improvement from not just Sunshine but the classic Super Mario 64 as well.
