SA2 Battle is the BEST!

Some people might think, why should I get SA2 Battle, when I already have the Dreamcast version. If you've got a Gamecube, I have 2 words for you, umm make that 1 word. Multiplayer. On the Dreamcast version, there was little choice of what to do (in multiplayer),making it repetitive, but know, the secret Dreamcast characters aren't secret in SA2 Battle, they each have voices, different stats and different attacks. I love the levels! Pyramid race with Tails and Eggman! Grinding challenge with Sonic and Shadow.Best new thing in racing:CITY ESCAPE!! Best Sonic/Amy/Shadow/Metal Sonic racing area. Best new thing in Treasure Hunting:CHAOS! Now with his own attacks, and the coolest sound to his entrance. Best new thing in shooting:NO BIG! Sega was so smart! DARK CHAO IS SOO CUTE!

One word-awesome!

I dont see how anybody could hate or even dislike this,this is one of the best games Ive ever played.For one the multicharacter choices are a lot better than the first Sonic Adventure.I mean I cant be the only one who wanted to play as a villain.At first I thought nothing could top Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast but Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the best games since Super Mario World,Battletoads,Legacy Of The Wizard and Toe Jam and Earl in Funkotron.All of those games I just mentioned are sixteen-bit and lower but theyre more fun than most of the games Ive played on a sixty four or one hundred and twenty eight-bit game system.Is this game just for thirteen year olds and younger?... no.I love this game(Im nineteen) and I rate it higher than any other game I own on Game Cube including Super Smash Bros Melee.... I dont know what else to say about S.A.2 Battle except if you dont already own it you should.

this is by far means the best sonic game ever created.I always loved sonics theme song and i enjoyed taking care of chao in the chao garden.If you want to learn how to get a chaos chao.Good luck!there are two problems i found though:1,you can't really run around with tails accept when you are in the chao garden :[ 2,you can'twander freely like in sonic adventure.overall this game is for sonic fans(such as myself)or anyone who wants a superspeed challenge!

This is a great game! Well, really this review is about my Chao. With the animals your collect and feed to your Chao the ever so cute animal will turn your ever so cute Chao INTO A BLOOMING GREAT FREAK! I did have a normal looking Chao called Buddy who lived in the Hero Garden until one fateful day when I fed him an animal so devious, so horrible, that it would change his life forever. The animal? A cute fluffy little bunny rabbit! It gave Buddy rabbit ears so I started calling him Bunny as a nickname. It soon turned into a name, so I went to The Fortune teller in the Kindergarten and changed his name to Bunni. (You can do this by selecting Yes, No, Yes). Bunni still lives in the Hero garden with my 2 other Chao Bubbles and Choc (well I do have 1 more who hopefully will help me to unlock the Evil Garden. His name? His name is Stupid.) So all my Chao have things like Phonix tails and other things like that. I prefer feeding them Chao drives (you know, those glowing things which you get from robots that you kill. Or rather elimiate). Oh and one more thing, if you sell the nuts that grow on the trees you can get more rings.

Okay im not really 13 im older then that its just that amazon would only allow 13 years of age people to write reviews or something ; so i used the kids review thingy ' i dont know why they dont want me just review it without using the kids review

I first ' got me a game cube back in december 2003 and well i didnt own this game i always rented it out ' and i finally beated final hazzard in may ' now last month i brought this game ; at best buy ' and things i like about the game is chao playing as eggman well going through stage select and looking for the animals hidden in stages ; its fun i even sometime go to scene select ' this game is cool the storyline to it is cool ' and this is the game for long time sonic fans and new ones :-)

It was cool if you want to listen to your favorites go to sound test ; and i know also im the only one who likes rouges music to her stages ; sound test is fun their are loads of favorites i like

very good the controllers are the best and learning some new moves/upgrades for the characters

What a great ending ' loads of fun you can also select a scene when you beat a story from what i mentioned up above ' Buy this game you wont regret it its fun :)

This (lucky me!) happened to be my first Sonic game. Though I've had the game for a year or so, I still play it regularly. Why?? Because it's one of the best games ever for GC. There's 180 emblems to collect, which will keep you playing for hours at a time. The theme songs are wonderful and desrcibe each character perfectly. The gameplay really flows nicely. If you just want to see the ending, just zip through the story modes. If you want to see a secret little extra that Sonicteam put in, get all 180 emblems.
Rouge and Knuckles' levels aren't really THAT tedious. Wild Canyon and Dry Lagoon are 2 or 3 minute excursions. It's just when you get to the harder levels where it gets tedious. For example spending 9 minutes on Mad Space. Or spending 5 minutes on Death Chamber. But overall, this is a game for people even if they aren't Sonic fans. This game has recently even become a Player's Choice game. Shows you how much people really do love this game ^^

I've always loved the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and this game is no different. The great part about this game is that you can either play the Hero side or the Dark side, whichever you choose, it DOES end up the same way.

Gameplay - awesome controls, plays a lot like the older games but obviously a little better considering it's a lot newer and on a better system.

Graphics - great graphics, good detail on the characters and the levels are awesome.

Stages - each character has their own special stages, Sonic/Shadow are on their feet doing adventure modes, Tails/Eggman are in machines while Knuckles/Rouge have to find three emerald pieces. This game even has 2 racing stages. The best part is, after you beat a level, you can replay it as much as you want and you keep playing until you receive the letter A. Once you beat the level, a new "challenge" appears such as collect 100 coins, find the lost chao, time mode and hard mode. The stages also get gradually harder which is expected.

Characters - old and new characters appear here, of course Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are back to fight off the evil Dr. Eggman but this time he's brought along Rouge the bat and Shadow, a Sonic look-a-like which is supposedly the "secret weapon".

Options - not only does this game have the different challenges for each level, it also contains a 2 player mode where you can play with a friend on some of the stages. Other two player games include the racing, chao race and a shooting battle.

Chao Garden - the Chao Garden is an amazing feature, it's awesome raising chao and in this game you get 3 gardens though 2 have to be earned. The Hero Garden is a garden for the good chao (chaos that should only be raised by Sonic, Tails and Knuckles). It's a beautiful sunny garden with a nice heavenly waterfall/pool. The Dark Garden is for evil chaos (for Shadow, Eggman and Rouge). It is complete with a red pool and dying, Halloween looking trees. The chaos can die but if you treated them well, they will leave an egg and after 2 or 3 times they will become an immortal Angel or Devil chao and will actually look quite different (IF you follow the directions). There is chao races in the normal garden (for good, evil or neutral chao) and chao karate. Once you beat all the races and karate, you will receive gifts.

Other - the game is great, it features similar levels to the old Sonic, he still has the loops and everything. I like the idea that you can be good or evil and the storyline is excellent. It's the kind of game you will want to play over and over again, especially since it's actually REALLY hard to get a level A in some of the levels. A fun overall game and definitely worth the price.

This is the most fun video game I've ever played! It has the best storyline of any sonic game I've played, it has nice graphics, cool music( the music will get you to buy the soundtrack! ) and is really fun. This was the first sonic game I have ever played, and it is what made me a big Sonic fan ( actually, Sonic is only my fourth favorite character, Knuckles and Rouge tie for first, and Shadow comes in second ) Also, the Chao are really fun and cute to raise and play with, and it is cool to see them transform and win races/karate. If you are a sonic fan and don't have this game, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????????!!!!!!!!!!! GO BUY IT NOW!!!! (you won't regret it!!!)

SA2:Battle is great. It's one of
best GameCube games I've played. (and
my GC is pretty new,I've only had it for
about a month or so)
You can play as one of 2 teams:
Hero team (Sonic,Knuckles and Tails)
or
Dark team (Shadow,Eggman and Rouge)
There is one AWESOME mini-game/virtual pet
thing on here called Chao Garden.
You get it by finding a key on
one of the levels.
You raise a Chao,name it,
take it to school,and enter it
in either Karate or Chao Races.
It is waaay cool.
But this Chao bit isn't the only
fun thing on this game.
The music is neat,and the
levels are nicely done,
the only complaint I have
about SA2 is that playing as
a team of evil characters (Dark team)
is a little...questionable,
but no matter. SA2 is still awesome.
