this game was pretty good, when it comes to action, its pretty fast and the graphics are amazing, but the sountrack on this was so annoying, people who r not into that type of music might not like the game, it would of been better if they rapped through out all the levels. The fist sonic had better music and better levels, this one lacks in good levels. What happened to the adventure zones??? that was the fun part!!! it was good lookn for the levels n the first one, but in this one it takes u direcly to the levels its not even exciting, its laughable though, theres one part in the game where shadow and sonic do this trance or whatever n they start moving there hands up n down (subliminal messahe here) hahaha, its so funny, that was about the only entertainig part of the game!, but in all it was fun.

i love this game especially the grading system since i enjoy skool it feels like i am at skool when the game grades me basic on my overall performance this game like mario party relates 2 life skills they have driving mode kart racing which helps u drive slightly better on the real roads u can practice as much as u want the only thing u can driving in reverse only forward but it isn't as easy as it sounds u must make near perfect turns like when doing real driving if u think about it is like a road test because u are on the road and u get a score at the end of da test and it is long my favorite level is sonic's one which is city escape it is the most basic and helps u do well in all the other levels i wish sonic and mario would both be in the same video game that is my dream game da creators could name it mario vs sonic or they could collide mario and sonic 2gether and change their names to marsonic like a goku and vegeta thing when they do their funsion n dbz this game helps me when i am bored or not n a noble mood da blue flying robot reminds me of dat little mushroom man and da yellow turtle n mario party game who guided mario and da others 2 win all of his games that is y i feel the game creators should make a mario and sonic game they have 2 much n common they both wear a lot of blue, they have their own super hero teams, r universal loved, r short, fast, have a girlfriend, mario peach, sonic amy rose, their games have me on the edge of my seats and take my on an adventure, both have famous kart racing games, are n great shape can do flips, both can fly a little bit they use their gagdets 2 help get around n da air mario needs his red cap while sonic uses his air 23 shoes 2 get his coins through da air he is still technically flying when getting the coins from off the ground that is all of the things mario and sonic have in common even though mario was a little before sonic they are still 2 different people who do almost the same things in different ways

Ok, this game is pretty much the Dreamcast Version with better graphics, more multi player stuff, and Choa virtual pet things.... thats more than enough to make me buy the game! .... I've played the game for Dreamcast and it is pretty neat, but some of the "Emerald Search" levels end up with your controller meeting the wall. If this was a review for SA2 on DC then I would have given it 3 stars, but GAMECUBE rocks and should improve the game immensley.

This game is awsome! The graphics are perfect! The words match the mouths and the storyboard is just like the series. I'd give it an all 10!

See i'm about to get this for christmas and a few month's ago i played it in my friend's house.I dropped my jaw for a-half hour.you have metal sonic,sonic,shadow,amy(she's slow but she can do a attack before anybody.next treasure hunt,knukles,rouge the bat,tikel(she's a new girl)and that little blue goop guy sorry don't know his name.the only problem is that the treasure hunt is kinda boring.Overral this game is two tuhmb's up.trust me if your a sonic fan like me you will flip.and if your not your still going to flip(you have no other option)peace out my nega's

Sonic adventure 2 battle is a great game and the story line is good. I dont give it a 5 star ranking cause the story line is short. it took me about 17 hours

Great game! Very fun, entertaining, and very high quality. Although, there is some screenshots of charecters that are messed up.

A memorable 10th Anniversary for Sonic

While this Gamecube installment is popular in its own right, I think it's more appropriate to begin with this game's TRUE source. Sega Dreamcast 2001: the 10th birthday of the little blue hero, Sonic. Sega needed an accompanying game that would cap off a decade for their flagship mascot. SONIC ADVENTURE 2, while not flawless, was still a title that left other games in the dust that same year.

Whereas Nintendo EAD focuses their game development on depth and imagination, Sonic Team's main focus on games is getting into the heart of the action. That comes into full circle with this title. Sonic Adventure 2 is chock full of bursting energy, a game that's a pyrotechnical display of volley-inducing frenzy. The level design put into the courses is excellent, and showcases Sonic Team's action-oriented ingenuity at its best. Go play dynamic levels such as "Green Forest", "Radical Highway", "Crazy Gadget", and "Final Rush". Never before has Sonic Team combined exertion and structure so well in a Sonic game. The graphics are mesmerizing, even at break-neck speed. Bright, sharp, and ready to pounce your eyeballs. A technical improvement over the first Sonic Adventure, and one of the great final showcases for the Dreamcast's visual power.

The music of the Sonic Adventure series is very overlooked. Platform game music continues its redundancy while Sega energizes it. Jun Senoue and other members of the Wavemaster team created a new image for the Sonic franchise with a bright sound that has inventive pop hooks and melodic rock-rooted riffery. They transcend all styles appropriately as well, from Jazz to HipHop to Big Band. It's like a big music carnival. The two Sonic Adventure soundtracks show the platform world that music is still a vibe among the genre.

Sonic Adventure 2 still has standout flaws, so the fun factor gets 4 stars. There were no big leaps in improving the camera at all from the first Sonic Adventure, and the story mode is lacking compared to its predecessor. As for this Gamecube installment, the 4-star rating is even more appropriate. While there are extras, the "Battle" feature seems unnecessary and is more of a tack-on to "update" the game and its name. And most of all, this classic Dreamcast Sonic game just does not feel right on a Nintendo system. While the GC version is not bad by any stretch, be a part of history and try to get the original game for Dreamcast, if possible.

SONIC ADVENTURE 2, in its true purest form, is a videogame for gamers. You can go about your corporate PS2 and XBox, or your online escapades on your beefed-up PC. However, nothing really beats the heart of a classic series' pinnacle whose only sole purpose was for you to have a blast.

I was a sonic fan since I was 8 years old. When my dad bought us the gamecube I was a little disapointed with the games he bought with it. He bought mickey's magical mirror (VERY BORING) luigi's mansion, and super smash bros. When I heard that there was a sonic game I asked my dad to buy it asap. I was surprised. The 2 player game isn't so fun but the 1 player is great!! I couldn't stop playing until my 2 year old sister scratched the disc.
