DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT GAVE THIS GAME A 5. THERE JUST TELLING BIG FAT LIES!! I HAVE ALL THE SONIC GAMES AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT SUCKS LIKE CRAP!!!!! I think if there is ever going to be a Sonic Adventure 3 it better have all the characters from the first SA game and be a cross between the old school Sonic games for Genesis and the first Sonic Adventure game for Dreamcast.Sonic Adventure was one of the best games graphic wise and fun wise of 2000 so you can bet that the sequel was somewhat of a disappointment.Im sick of the stages where you have to dig for emeralds.What happened to just having a Special Stage?If Sega is going to make another game thats like SA 2 then maybe they should give up on the Sonic idea and think of something else.128 bit versions of the original Sonic games for Genesis would be really cool but unfortunately I dont think that's going to happen.

Ok,their are many,many people out there that tell you that bad reviews are tricking you well,this game [stinks] and I mean it.Knuckles is only 15,he is supposed to be a year younger than Sonic,the two should have about the same voices right,but not in this game,it sounds like Sonic has a stuffy nose and Knukles is in his late 40's,with a deep voice.All the voices are way off.And the songs are [not good],rent it you'll see.Now,isn't there alot of people in this game with EXACTLY the same powers of Knuckles,hmmm?Gee,why don't they call all of them Knuckles huh?,I mean they can all fly and use their "knuckles" to climb up walls. Only Sonic,Shadow,Metal Sonic,and Amy can't do this.But Chao Zero,Tikita,Rouge and many more can do exactly what Knuckles does.You can't even race with Knukles,dude he's faster than Amy.This game is a disgrace to all Sonic games. All you do is race,treasure hunt,and the world's [worst] shootout,if you like shooters in big robot's get Armored Core.You can't use Tails,only inside a flying robot.Well,Tails can fly too so all he needs is a gun right?But they put him in a robot as a nobody. If I were you I wouldn't waste [money] on this.I'm not lying,rent it and see,you know what,don't rent it because when I did I was disapointed that my parents wasted [money]for this.Please take my advice,if you hate that dumb pop music you won't want this,or if you've played a Sonic game before and liked.Like I said,I'm not lying to you.

this game is so stupid and boring i got sick of it in the first level, the music is terrible and you have to do the same first level five times, it's the exact same except you have a different "mission" like getting a hundred rings or something. i thought this was going to be fun but it's really boring if you're going to rent or buy it, i wouldn't its one of the worst games i've ever played

Remember when we used to play the old Sonic games for the Sega Genesis? Well, that was probably the best game for the system. Sega saw that it was an awesome title and released four more. They all had the same exact control feel and it had the same exact object of the game, which was to defeat that fat, bald guy. I got bored of those games because of that reason. This game will be exactly like the other 3D Sonic games on the Dreamcast; repitive and boring. It is a fading classic and I hope they can fix it. But if they can't don't buy this game!!

U people keep dissin' Shadow he is like the awsomest charictor ever! Sonic is ssooo weird (most of the time( he is ssooo mean to poor Amy)) Shadow's stages are awesome! Sonic's are just well... Shadow's "story" is awesome! I wish i was Maria, (not the dead part) but being Shadow's Best Friend!

This game was fun at first, but then it just got annoying, especially the characters:

Sonic: He's okay, but just like the game, not as good as before. He's either too mean or too nice, and, towards the end, he's blaming others (specifically Knuckles) when something goes wrong (you can argue all you want; that's how I feel. His levels are the most fun to play.

Tails: I liked him better when he wasn't in that mechanical thing. Tails isn't the cute, loveable little kitsune he used to be. Now, he's one step closer to becoming a non-evil Robotnik (Eggman's real name) clone (with the mech and all.) His levels are more "shoot'em-up" themed now.

Knuckles (fave char:) ): He's still the Knuckles we all know and love, but his levels are redundant,could take over 30 min., and are, overall, not very fun. Like a long, boring scavenger hunt.

Shadow: I don't care what Shadow fans say; HE'S AN EVIL SONIC CLONE! He's annoyingly vengful (reason: his friend, Maria, was killed about 50 years ago in a successful attempt to save Shadow's life), which is either good or bad, depending on who your favorite characters are in this and other games. Levels like Sonic's.

Eggman: Okay, still the same Eggman. Levels like Tails', except they include breaking into things.

Rouge: Quote: All the gems in the world are mine! Unquote. I find her annoying and bratty, kinda like Shadow. Levels like Knuckles', except supurisingly easier.

The Game Overall: This game is fun, up until stage 13(suprise, surprise), where it gets EXTREMELY hard, and raising Chao is fun (I love Chao), but this game is not the first Sonic Adventure. It's harder, the characters have less likeable personalities, and flawed camera angles (what else is new?.) The music is good, except for Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, and Amy's theme songs, which are either bad or annoying. This game is worth a rental and possibly a buy. If you liked/loved Sonic Adventure, you *might* like this one. Personaly, I want to play as the characters I loved.

i thought it was fun in the end but when you beat the game you dont want to start over im not a sonic freak so when it came out i didnt care but i bot it because you guys gave it 4 stars it would be good i dont like it that much

the game was great except the 2-players it should be 4-players since these systems have 4 controller ports. but i think you should make a game where sonic and mario fight. like a super smash bros. type game but sonic AND mario fight along with the other characters such as shadow and luigi. that would be a great game.this game was cool because of the battling part and racing.
