Still the best Sonic game out after maybe 3-4 years or so...

This game is very, very, very, good! Infact it is one of the few good games out for the Cube right now. It is only rivaled by: Super Smash Bros., Zelda Windwaker, and Animal Crossing. Get this game it is getting more uncommon to find this game as time flies by. soon this game might be costing you an arm and a leg. One of the most popular aspects of the Game is the Chao, these are creatures that the various Sonic characters in the game collect items and food for during the stages. they are what keep me playing and why should mainly buy this game. you might get bored after about 60 hours of gameplay after beating the game so watch out. This ain't to much of a problem cause it's replay and after game value is good and addictive. Like I said, This game is slowly disappearing so I'd buy it quick if I haven't already.

Finally, Sonic on a Nintendo system! I've played Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast and it was awesome! The 2 Player "Battle" modes that have been added to the game for GameCube are cool, but the best part of the game is still the main adventure, "Story Mode". With the power of the GameCube, Sonic's greatest adventure yet is bound to have better graphics than that of the original Dreamcast version, but even if the graphics don't improve, the game will still be the second best game out there for GCN, at least until Metroid Prime hits store shelves. Now if we could only get Jet Set Radio Future for our superior Nintndo consoles...

Im definitely going to get this.

When Sonic Adventure came out for Dreamcast I though nothing could top it but now this is coming out and its going to be awesome.This will take a much longer time to beat than Luigi's Mansion and well worth the [money].Not only can you play a 2 player mode you can also play as the dark side.

First off, I can't say that this game is great, but it definitely doesn't [stink]. The first few levels are fun to play, but then the game just lags on. What I mean is that the first time you play as knuckles, you find his cool moves and abilitys. I few levels later, you switch back to him, and its just irritating. Plus, if rent or buy this game, you'll see that Pumnpkin Hill has nothing to do with the story line; Sonic meets Shadow, they fight, Knockles blows up the "master Emerald" and him and a bat/cat named rogue both go look for it. All of a sudden you're in hell or something and you have to dig in EVREY SINGLE spot to find it. There are computers that give hints, but other than that you're on your own. Also, the camera angles just stink, ALOT. You can adjust the camera to how you want it, but as soon as you move, it swings back to the position that it was in that made you want to change it. The music is [bad]. It is just the same thing again and again over and over until you can't take it anymore.
I only gave this game a two stars and not one for the first three or four levels.
Don't get this game unless you like to listen to annoying music in a game with a stupid, stupid, stupid story line. But if you really like annoying music so much to buy this game i think that you should waste your money on a annoying CD....

There are occasions when a fanboy has to fall on the floor laughing. PS fanboys celebrated when Final Fantasy went to Playstation, and now Nintendophils have something to celebrate. Sega was the first to accuse Nintendo of catering to children, and Sonic was the mascot "bad boy" that they were using to target the teens. Back then nobody bought the Nintendo only for kids garbage the way they do now (Excpet people who actually own a Nintendo system and know better. We forgive the ignorant media though.)
Sonic was used to wage a war against Mario, a war that Sonic eventually lost. Nintendo and Sega were once very bitter rivals, both offering a decent system (the SNES being the better of the two but some Genisis games were still great.) But eventually Sega spent too much time on developing new machines and selling them at prices noone could afford and thier reputation went downhill. Playstation slaughtered the Saturn, and Sega all but vanished until the beauty that was the Dreamcast. The DC was a great machine with some amazing games and could have revived Sega if it weren't for some poor advertising and marketing.
Considering the biter rivalry between Mario and Sonic, the hedghog landing in the GCN is perhaps the most ironic event since the Nintendo-Square break up. Not only that, but that Sega is offering Nintendo quite a line up from here on out as well!
The game itself is far from graphically impressive, as it is only slightly enhanced from the Dreamcast version, however this game is so much fun that everyone should buy it! The problem I have with it is that I have never been good at Sonic games, and playing as the Sonic team I can't even clear the first stage. Playing as Dr. Eggman's (formerly Dr. Robutnick, I don't know why they changed the name) team I got much further. I do have a complaint about Rouge's fetch quests though. Each time you die (and you will) the item placement changes which can make the levels frusterating at times. There is one part where you have a five minute time limit to fetch a series of Choas Emeralds, a feat which I wonder if it is even acievable because there is no time to check the hints screens that are afloat, and the radar doesn't really held to determine which of the four floors the emeralds are. The stages that are the most fun are hands down Sonics and Shadows as both are lightning quick and the camera has been tweaked for much better performance than the DC version. There is no slowdown, no framerate drops, and aside from a couple of parts being too difficult for me (but mind you I suck at Sonic games) this game is great. Don't hesitate to buy it.

Sonic can now get a HERO CHAOand DARK CHAO(in chao garden)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has better stages then Sonic adventure 2 and it has better CHAO,too

It is a verrrrrry fun game! You wont regret it . its fun. it has not so good graphics, but you get used 2 it. the storyline is good and the gameplay is awesome!!! so I recomend this game. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!

This is the best game I have ever played. I like sonic thye hedgehog games a lot, and this game is by far the best sonic game they have ever made. The graphics are sweet and the game is too much fun to quit playing. If you buy this game you definately won't regret it.

sonic heros is better than this game.You might not like this game.All you do is jump and kick and run.You collect emrods and hide with rouge or knukles and scratching. Your in a robot with Tails or egg man shoting dumb-dumbs and the chao data gets boring.Don;t PLAY THIS GAME.
