I HAVENT BOUGHT THIS GAME BUT I'VE RENTED IT AND IT DOSENT A GENUOUS TO TELL THAT THIS GAME IS THE BEST. AT THE BEGINNING INSTEAD OF BEING WEAK AND ONLY HAVE ONE MAIN WEAPON YOU STAR OFF WITH ALL OF YOUE WEAPONS ECTCEPT FOR THE GRAPPLER BEAM ANT TWO OTHER ONES BUT ANYWAY IF YOU LIKE HARD AND VERY CHALLENING GAMES THEN YOU SHOULD GET THIS GAME WHEN I REANTED IT I ONLY BEAT THE VERY FIST BOSS AND GOT STUCK SOME WHERE IN THE FIRST RUINS ANYWAY I SUGGEST YOU RENT FIRST TO SEE IF YOU LIKE IT AND IF YOU DO BUY IT RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Metroid Prime is awesome. It is fun, challenging, and graphically beauitiful. I have had no flaws with this game. Everything is perfect. Between the three runner ups for game of the year for 2002 (GTA: Vice City PS2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Xbox, and Metroid Prime GC)I think Metroid Prime takes the cake. The graphics gameplay and sound all equal up to one perfect game.

This would have to be one of the best games I have ever played. I have only had it for a week and I barely tore myself away from my cube to write this. The graphics are unbelievable, the gameplay is awesome, and the music is excellent! People say the controls are hard to get used to, I got them down in 5 minutes. I have played Halo, GTA:VC, and all those other games, but I think Metroid Prime surpasses all of them. I haven't played any of the other Metroid games, but I still love this one. You should buy this game if you have a Gamecube. if you don't have a Gamecube, buy one and get Metroid Prime.

Great Storyline, excellent visuals & sound. The games prompts you along noting activities you should explore but you go at your own pace. This game is an event, and you won't want to rush through it with "walk throughs".

Great purchase, realy make you feel as thought your the bounty hunter checking to see whats around each corner. I've just completed 10% and got past the first realy big boss in the Atrimum, a huge man-eating plant wow, great feeling .

Simply put:the best gamecube game available

I was never a Metroid fan,in fact I thought Metroid and Super Metroid were boring and frustrating.Still I decided to give Metroid Prime a chance.Now I have to say this is one of the best games I've ever played for any console.The graphics are as good as "HALO",the framerate is nearly perfect,music is really good,gameplay is perfect (one of the best along with Timesplitters 2), but still the best thing about this games are the little details:you really feel like Samus alone in an alien world.It's just so cool.Since I bought it I just can't stop playing it,everyday is a Metroid Prime day!You just have to own this great game!

This game is awesome! The graphics are beautiful, the game play is smooth, it's challenging (especially in hard mode), and it feels like just any other Metroid game (which is a very good thing). It's a must-have for any GameCube owner!!

I'd been waiting for the last couple of years for Metroid Prime, so when it came out I wasn't dissappointed!
Graphics:5 Stars
The graphics were totally awesome in this game! Steam would condense on your visor and you could see your reflection in it. The colors were bright but blacks were also brought at well.Amazingly Life-like.
Sound:4
The sound was very engaging, but the music was repeated a lot and the sound efects weren't very good.
Gameplay: 5
This game kept going forever. There is a multitude of items to collect and places to visit. It is not to hard but definetly is not easy!It also has replay value as there is always things to scan and learn.
Overall:5
If you like a challenge and good graphics get this game!

When I bought this game... I was expecting a mediocre attempt to make Metroid 3D... yet I loved Metroid so I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. I was amazed.... the controls take a little getting used to... but not that hard. Also, the graphics, sound, replay value of this game are simply amazing.

I played the prevue game at Target but there it wasent that fun at all but when I bougth it and played it I loved it. It is fun that dose not stop. I love the graphics rock and the game play is cool and amazing. The game gets hard at some points but on my second try I always made it through. The boses are my favorite and they are just so fun to beat or try to beat.

The Best. Period.

This is the best game on the Gamecube. This is very likely the best game ever made, for any system, by anybody. Why, you may ask?

Graphically, it's breathtaking. In addition to truly smooth movements and incredible detail, it's the little things that really make you sit back and go 'ooh.' The raindrops sliding over Samus' visor, the heat waves coming off the power beam. It all comes together to form a mosaic unlike anything I've seen.

The story? If this is your first Metroid experience, you might not get right into it. But I have to believe that even novice bounty hunters will soon be engaged with the adventure as it slowly unfolds through pirate data logs and Chozo inscriptions. For those of us who remember when Mother Brain got hers for the first time, it's an exciting new twist in the sage of Aran, with a surprise at the end that promises great things to come.

The gameplay? Listen carefully. This game is NOT a first person shooter in the traditional sense. It is not quite like any game ever made. Truly, this feels like the previous Metroid games, with a different perspective. The controls are very intuitive. If you just let them come to you, you'll have it all down pat by the time you land on Tallon IV. Once again, it's the little touches that help it along, most particularly the slight glance downward that's done with every jump, sparing us from the usual tactic of staring down at one's toes every time you have to jump. The gameplay is smooth and realistic, keeping true to the spirit of exploration and investigation inherent in all previous Metroid games.

In conclusion, Metroid Prime is a beautiful, unique and completely fulfilling gameplay experience. I highly recommend this groundbreaking game.
