its not primarily a first person shooter. It's supposed to be more of an action game. The view is just in first person, you supposeabley dont shoot much in the game...

Man this game is really good when i first played it at my freinds house i thought it was really boring untill he showed me all of the video graphics and stuff it so cool that we beated the game and showed me how much i really like it. I wish i could've got that game because everytime i think about it it just makes me go crazy not to have one, because metroid prime is an all time best 1 player games i have ever had. Plus i even bought all of the metroid games that was released a long time ago and to tell they dont compare to the ones right now that we have.

i am only 13 years old , so i never got the chance to own an NES , or SNES (or a Famicom or Super Famicom , i you lived in japan , which dont) but still , i know that Metroid has been one of Nintendos most loved seiries , sadly though: japan does not enjoy Metroid as much as we Americans do , and so Samus Aran has been pretty much forgotten by some video gamers , but she has been brought into the spotlight again thanks to Super smash brothers Melee , but thats about it..... Fortunatly though , Nintendo of Japan has teamed up with Austin , Texas based developer Retro Studios to creat METROID PRIME! Awwww yeah! SAMUS IS BACK ANd NO ONES GONNA MESS WITH HER! now you actually get to see the action IN FIRST PERSON! NOW YOU CAN SEE WHAt SAMUS USSES UNDER THAT HELMET OF HERS! And whats more the graphics and sound, not to mention gameplay are all AWESOME! . Whats more , connecting a GBA with Metroid Fusion in it will *SPOILERS SUPREME* Samus's suit from Fusion ,.......and THE ORIGINAL NES VERSION OF METROID!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF YOU DONT BUY THIS GAME THAN YOURE GONNA BE MISSING OUT! I f you cant get it this november than DEFINETLEY ADD THIS TO YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST! METROID PRIME IS TO GOOD TO BE MISSED!

This has got to be the best thing ever! It looks good, it smells good, and it fits in the palm of your hand! My dog and I had hours of fun with this earlier today, playing a type of fetch. Not just normal fetch, but the sleek frisbee-like design of Metroid Prime enables for good control; the aero-dynamic hole conveniently placed in the middle allows for good distance and speed to give your dog a challenge. Don't worry, it's fun for you also; The box in comes in has pretty pictures on it for you to look at while your dog is digging Metroid Prime out of the mud. So, throw away that stupid old tennis ball or rolled up sock, rush to the nearest store, and by a copy of Metroid Prime now!
Excellent game that nobody should pass up.

Metroid Prime a very fun game with a good mix of exploration, puzzles, and action, and the combination of first- and third-person views is pulled off quite well. The graphics aren't perfect, but trifles aside Metroid Prime is a very pretty game. Furthermore, level music is spectacular. Whether you're a Metroid veteran or new to the series, Metroid Prime is simply a must-have.

This game is awesome! This game has an easy control setup which even younger kids could use. The action and puzzles are intense and really fun. But there's something that ticks me off. In the game you have to find Save Stations which there aren't enough of. I know it's a tradition for Metroid game's to have Save Stations, but they could have put a few more in the final game. That's why I don't give it a 5 star rating.

Imagine receiving a distress call from a biotech research ship that ends by landing on a strange planet fighting off space pirates, beating native creatures, and getting upgrades! You can experience this and more on the exciting game for Game Cube MetroidPrime. This game will glue you to your seat in suspense and fascination with all kinds of graphic entertainment.
The first of this games many fun details is its graphics. MetroidPrime's graphics are very impressive it is almost like it puts you in the game. Enemies are also very graphic no matter what the lighting. Even weapon impacts have good details if you shoot a wall the impact will show for a brief second then will cool of.
Second after the graphics are the worlds in the game. The worlds are very detailed down to every room. Each section of each room in an area reacts to enemy impacts and character impacts. Each world has a different environment like snow or lava.
After worlds you have your character techniques and visor. Your character has a massive arsenal and combat techniques at her use them wisely. The best feature the main character is her ability to change beam weapons and combine her missiles with the beams. In the game strategy is very important to beat bosses and specific enemies.
One of the disadvantages of MetroidPrime is through my research there were no known codes. The game over all though is very entertaining. The puzzles, graphics, and character moves the game is very entertaining and is for fiction and action lovers.
MetroidPrime is rated teen so this game is not for every body. This is the kind of game you just have to go out and rent to see just exactly what you are dealing with. Enjoy the game and good luck.
