My [...] son is captivated by the Legend of Zelda. He says it is challenging, especially at the boss levels. You need to collect pearls to open up the tower under the sea. It is amazing because you get to collect items and use them for battle. You sail on a boat that is the king of red lions and the king of hyrule. It's a great "kid adventure" game!

This is the BEST GAME EVER! I play it every day after I get my homework done. I'm really, really far in the game, I'm almost at Ganon's Tower! I am a little dissapointed that it's almost over, but it has been a GREAT game. (It is a bit hard at times though). Two words: GREAT GAME!!!
Looks Awesome![.]

I recently ordered this game with that Ocarina of Time/ Ocarina of Time Master Quest game that you get free when you preorder this game. I haven't really seen any screenshots but I think this game will be pretty good. The game has a interesting story.
It starts out with Link sailing when a giant bird swoops down and picks up his sister. Since when did Link have a sister.
I have played all the zelda games and Link never had asister.
Did he? Well I really don't know what happens after that except for Link sets out to save his sister. Well I have to go but try this game out.

this is THE BEST nintendo game ever, i might so so with every miamoto game (Hes the Willy Wonka of game making) i play the demo at the mall all the time and i fell in love with the game. someone said he didnt like the grapics but i think its new and fresh and totaly disagry with this 'gamer' if you get this game you will love the ability to side on walls and take and take enemys weapons when you destroy them. I cant say anything about the king of red lions (the boat you sail aroud from island to is land) becouse ive never used it. in the game you will sail to over 50 islands both big and small. i highly recomend this game it will definatly be better then my spelling! (i also recomend the game cube screen)
its a great time to own a nintendo gamecube!

I have never liked zelda games even though my brother loves them. I have played almost everyone of them and I have never liked them. But, a month ago I tryed the legend of zelda tww and i got addicted to it the second I picked up the controller.
The grapics are amazing and the cel shading is better than the old graphics. It is very funny watching bad guys tumble of a cliff with their faces looking like they're about to cry like little babies. People who don't think the graphics are good should really try it out before they judge it. The guy who said the gameplay is bad obviously didn't play it as the gameplay is great. I'd recommend this game to any zelda fan and even newcomers to the zelda franchise.Even though you can't pre-order it anymore I have the bonus disk.I don't like it but anyone who was a master at oot should try mq cause it is way harder. If you didn't pre-order it i would suggest to go out to your neighbourhood video game store and buy it or at the very least rent it.
Great Game

MY PONT OF VIEW: This game is probably the best Zelda ever. We all know that Zelda has always been very realistic, (graphics, and music and sometimes the story). But this game totally gives it a change, for example, graphics are an amazing combination of cartoons and 3-d, and music (even though I haven't heardo it) must be great. This game is actually like every other Zelda game, (in dungeons for example) look for the key, use the key, find another key, use it beat the boss, get a new item... And even though it's old it's good because that's why lots of people love Zelda games.
THE STORY: The wind waker takes place in hyrule ( well duh!) and Link travels by boat from island to island controlling the wind musically (that's why it's called the wind waker). And the journey starts at Links home Island when he notices his sister is being kidnapped by a bird, he decides to embark on a journey and save her. As I see on screenshots and videos he is given his tunic (his FAMOUS tunic) by an old lady, and embarks with company(a short blonde girl) and goes on a journey! For now that is all I know about the story. But maybe I'll write another review later.
OTHER: I think that the whole centerpiece of the story is how link and other caracters express themselves since it is cartoon like you can easily see the characters expressions on their faces. The game follows the same tradition that most Zelda games follow: Link as a kid. And for now I don't know if theres is going to be voice actings, but I surely hope so!
CONCLUSSION: So as you see this game is very promising and I hope that this review wsa helpfull to you!
Magic!!

I have got to admit, at first I was very sceptical about the graphics but they are not bad. However its not the graphics that is the downfall of the game. The game starts very well, the fist three dungeons are amazingly fun, the characters interesting and it keeps you intrequed. Then... when you have to find the sages it apears Nintendo ran out of time or they skimped on the rest(but that is not what you would expect of Nintendo). If you don't believe me, try it. Try to like the end half of the game like you did the first and you will see you can't. I felt astonished that I beat the game in a couple weekends! I would of looked back on loving almost all of it were not for that god awful ending...The point is they started out well but seriously screwed up after the third dungeon.
Comparatively good, but the worst Zelda game so far...

I have had Wind Waker for several months and I am a long time Zelda fan, but I am fairly disapointed with this game. The graphics are good, but I really hate the cell-shading. I hate to be so typical, but realism is a preference of mine, and I fail to be awed or 'laugh with delight' if you will everytime link winks or dances. Also the music is sub-64, and combined with the childlike graphics, the 'feel' of the world fails to take me away to another land like, say, Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. Also, this game is dreadfully short and the story [is]just plain..., I mean what on Earth has the Zelda team been -doing- all this time?? Also, the game is really -really- easy. The hardest thing is getting the sub-par gamecube controller to focus in 1st person, for example while shooting arrows or concentrating the mirror shield. Don't get me wrong, this game is much much better than most of the [stuff] Nintendo puts out, but I was really expecting something more (longer, prettier, more engaging). I suppose it is fairly popular (at least I have gathered this from other reviews), and perhaps I am much much older than the typical Nintendo fan, hehehe, but I am still disapointed.
this game is fun for all

I played this game and after I got used to it I absolutely loved it. I would miss playing and wonder what was the next challenge for Link.I liked the music the graphics and the story. This game would be a treat for my 3 year old. She would beg me to play Zelda so she could watch the game play. After I beat the game I missed it like when you finish a good book.
