This is one game no one should pass up.

Previously upset at the new cel shading, (I personally would have favored a more realistic approach) I played Wind Waker, and my hands had to be pried from the controls. With the Game Boy Advance attached, this game has more power and more emotion, not to mention a better story line than previous Zelda titles, than any other game I've played. Don't think that because the graphics are cel shaded that this is a kids game. Hardly. In fact, the cel shading is probably the most impressive I have ever seen. This is a must buy.

Game of the year....

If been playing videogames since Super Nintendo up through Gamecube/Xbox and I have to say, since I got this game a week before the street release I love it! I will get up at 5 play and only break to eat or go bathroom! This is by far the best Gamecube game, also in my opinion the best Zelda game... this game and Super Smash Bros Melee is enough of a reason to buy a Gamecube... my advice is to get Gamecube with this or to get PS2 with Kingdom Hearts...

Stellar effort in the making of this game

I hesitated to choose this game due to the different presentation. You know, (ol) Link just didn't look the same. Believe me, it's no problem once you get started. I couldn't stop enjoying the variety of imaginative features and wow! is it a long game. Some of the solutions effecting progress were nothing short of ingenious. You can't help having a fun time when you play this game and thank God, the Zelda theme song didn't play over and over to drive me nuts. Best platformer this year in my opinion.

What are you thinking?

I understand that in a time with great competition from systems like PS2 and Xbox that Gamecube games may not seem to excel, except for those like Metroid Prime, but this new Legend of Zelda is going to dominate the gaming industry for its new graphic style and incredible attention to detail. Though Link may just be a kid in the game, he is a hero for all ages. If you want to get a good concept of how the game looks, go to [site] and check out the videos for the game cause they will eliminate any doubts about the graphics and the sounds. This game captures all of the elements that Nintendo has been trying to produce for quite some time. Just for a little advertisement, other Gamecube games worthy of purchase include: Metroid Prime, 007 Nightfire, Madden 2002/2003, Pikmin, Star Fox Adventures, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and Super Smash Brothers Melee.

This game is going to be SO much fun. I have beat the demo ...over 40 times. Over and over and over. This game is just plain amazing, and if you are worried about the graphics, stop worrying right now, because after you have played, they just become... real. this game is going to be SO much fun, and I think if you call yourself a zelda fan, you should look past the somewhat odd-looking graphics, because if you let them hinder you from playing this, you are MISSING OUT.

The best game ever!! well, second best

This is the best, well second best, game ever!! The graphics are awesome, but they will take some getting uesd to. the gameplay is supurb, and the musical score is awesome. I would have given this game a better rating, but this is the highest they allow.

The best Zelda yet, and that's saying alot!

First of all, this game is awsome! When I first heard that Zelda's developers had dropped their beautiful real-looking graphics and switched to cell-shading I was dissapointed beyond belief. I thought to myself, "They haven't started going downhill, have they?"
But rest assured; they haven't. The cell-shading is absolutely GORGEOUS, and only adds to the game's deep plot and gameplay. The controls are excellent, having the user completely adapted to them within the first minute or so. And you thought Hyrule was big? Well, this game is, like, 2 times bigger. Some think that the addition of sea exploration ruins the game, but I think it only makes the adventure more exiting, adding a whole new aspect to the game. The plot is pretty much the same old Zelda, but with a few new twists(I won't give them away). The only thing I didn't like was the substitution of the famous Zelda Ocerina for a Wind Waker. But hey, one game can't be perfect. I say anyone who owns a Gamecube should own this game.

Great Game. Time for a film

I haven't really played it, but I love the story, gameplay, and graphics (yes, all you buttheads out there who hate this, THE GRAPHICS.) And I think it's high time I adapted it to the screen. No, I am not under twelve, I'm using this 'cuz our computer has spyware, and the only way to do it is on this form. My favorite part in the game is where the once Tetra-now Zelda says, "Link, I really don't know how to say this, but... Your sister being kidnapped, all the trouble you've gone through... It was all my fault..." That is the most heart-tearing scene for me. It really shows Tetra/Zelda's soft side, and how she really cares for Link. I'm making the scene more deep for my screenplay, if time permits. The weirdest part? The scene where Ganondorf has Zelda in that bed, and he's sitting next to her *coughcoughsortalikephantomoftheoperacoughcough*. Gross to the max. Anyway, I gotta go and work on my Zelda FanFic. bye, 'till Twilight Princess!!!

THE BEST GAME EVER!!

I first got this game on Christmas of 2004.
When you begin the game, your character's younger sister is kidnapped. You then begin your quest to save her, but you soon find that you must accomplish more than just saving her.
You meet a talking boat (strange, isn't it?) and you sail off to faraway places so that you can aquire the master sword and defeat the evil Ganon.

This game is excellent because it takes more than just the ability to press buttons quickly to beat it. There are many difficult puzzles and still some fighting. Don't worry, you aren't fighting humans, and when an enemy is defeated, it simply turns into a puff of purple smoke, then disappears.
You have tons of cool weapons to collect, including the grappling hook, deku leaf, and the WindWaker. The game is challenging, so, unlike easy games, it doesn't bore you.

Pros and cons:

Pros:
-Very challenging;takes quite a while to beat (I still haven't beaten it!)
-Very.... interesting, yet good graphics
-This game is great for both boys and girls
-HUGE world to explore

Cons:
-The characters could be a little brighter...
-You have to play as a boy (which is okay for girls anyway and is not a con for boys)
-..... I can't think of any more!

I would DEFINITLEY reccomend this game!

DONT JUDGE A GAME BY ITS GRAPHICS

at first i didn't even bother with this game because i thought that the graphics were too cartoony and link looked to kiddish. BUT i finally gave it a try and it is sooooo awesome! The graphics are cartoony, but very rich in detail, the plot is amazing, the music is strangely addictive, and the characters are new (well some are). The levels are easy..so far and not much puzzle solving, more action- which is fine for me. Sailing around can get sort of tedious and boring however... Let see- a cool thing that nintendo put in ww is links expressions. He changes them in different situations and his eyes move around.. Oh! And there are some new actions that you can do- You can sidle along side a wall, you can crawl, and there are more sword techniques... Well i suppose that's all i can think of at the moment- Wind waker is definietly something that every zelda fan should try- It's different, in good and bad ways, then OoT and MM but either way give it a try!
