I haven't bought this game yet, but I've played it at my friend's house and all I can say is "Dude, this is great!"

When he let me play it, I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing. Even still, I had fun! I soon got the picture of what I had to do, and I played it for the rest of the time I was over there!

This game is really great. It's the first Harvest Moon game I've ever played and I didn't even get that far, but still I could tell this was a great game. So as you can see from my point of view, it's OK if you haven't played any of the other Harvest Moon games before. The point of the game and the concepts are very easy to understand! I'm going to get it as soon as I can!

This game is called GREAT! he i listed pros and cons

PROS

1 good graphics a lot better from the older versions

2 music you can get bored of listening to the same song over and over each time u enter your farm, if u notice there is a cd player wich allows u to change your songs.

3 able to marry

4 raise yor kid to have up to 6 choices of jobs ( unlike other hm games)

5 raise many types of animals cows,sheep,chickens,horses and the new animals are goats and ducks.

6 grow hybrid veggies and u can also grow trees ( yes the normal veggies r there 2)

7 a lot o people in the game that u can interact with (40)

CONS

1 no more festivals that were in the old games (waaaaaahhhhh)

2 only 3 girls 2 marry unlike int the old versions there was only 6 u can marry

3 little kids might get dissapointed if a animal dies

that is it well i give this game a 2 thumbs up!! : })

I have played many of games where you kill people and crash things, but now in this game you just make a farm with animals and tools to use. Also, you can get married in this game to 3 different girls who act differntly, and you get a son!!!!! So good luck to you new players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is really bad and hard. You start as a rancher, but making money is very hard, you have to marry raise kids, like in real life, but it's not as it sounds, it's boring,cause you have to do everything all the time. Bottom line Don't buy it, if you haven't played the other ones

I love Harvest Moon and I happen to own a gamecube.
This is an annoying thing because I live in Korea.
The game won't reach me till July and i'd be gone by then.
But who cares. I love this game and I hope you guy's love it too.

Okay!!This is an outrage!I am a huge Harvest Moon fan and the owner of a Gamecube.As you can see I have a slight feeling that the game may never come out.As you can see in the December of 2001the review said the game will come out in March 2002 then it said by May 2002 then it said June 2002 and then July 2002.Now we are in the year 2003 and as you can see I am a little bit how should I say upset!!!Now the whole world is anticipating the arrival of the game!I mean how much longer are they gonna take on this game?I admit that I am a 13 year old girl and that I was expecting to get this for a late Christmas present.But as you can see my mom wont buy it for me because she says that is to late for Christmas presents.Now if you feel the same way about this I would like you to stand up and e-mail me and tell me how you feel!!!I will be much obliged!Thank you!!

This games looks great. If u've played the others then u know that harvest moon rules! But this one looks like a big improvement! I'm still crossing my fingers if this one has a girl that resembles POPURI 2 marry! YAY! New farm animals, ur able 2 raise ur child, improvement on the marriage system, and u can cross ur vegtables 2 make some sort of hybrid vegatable!

This Game is wicked dumb. It has no point. No levels. NO OBJECT!! All you do is try to impress REALLY ugly girls, and run around on your horse. This game is very weird if you are a girl, because you play a boy, who looks like a girl.So, it is very werid to play as a boy if you are a girl. Not to mentian it is really hard to get married. You have to marry them, or die. Please, don't buy this. It has nice pretty grapics. Thats it. Buy somthing else. Animal crossing is much better.

If i were to describe this game in one word i would say that it is.... Omg i cant describe it in one word! its just to amazing!! i hope that they keep on continueing to make more of the harvest moon series!!i love it and can't get eough but anyway enough about that. Anyway its just so addicting! i can't get enough !!! It is even better then alkl the other Harvest Moon's (not that the others r bad its just that this one is a little better) I LOVE IT!!!!

I tend to LOVE simulation/life games... but when I bought this, it wasn't exactly what I expected.

GRAPHICS- 4/5
The character design is spectacular, and the characters are SO cute!!! The only problem in this section is that the walking is kinda weird (but it's easy to get used to).

SOUND- 5/5
What can I say? The music is good, and even if it weren't, the sound has NOTHING to do with the gameplay...

CONTROLS- 4/5
The controls were hard at first, but I got used to them after a while.

FUN- 3/5
At first, it was VERY, VERY fun, but the chores got annoying, and I cannot get any person to marry my character!!! I feel depressed :(

OVERALL- 84% "B"
It was fun, and maybe it would be more fun for you, but if you get bored easily, then this is NOT tha game for you...
