Hey, im 12, and my name is. uh. nvm... my i reccomend this game to EVERYONE if you enjoy games like the simes, exept with much less, and i dont think, any, sexual themes, it is a GREAT game, and i HIGHLY reccomend it. =p

I started to play this game by renting it a my local Movie Gallery and I TOTALLY fell in love with this game and (after 2 weeks of renting it) I had to buy it!

In the game, you start out as this boy (IF YOU ARE A GIRL, LOOK AT "AN EVEN MORE WONDERFUL LIFE) and his dog. You have a cow and that's pretty much it, and you have to make a life for yourself. You plant crops and have to maneuver your way around town, but it's kinda hard. You have a choice of 5 women (Celia is cutest) and right when you are ready (at the end of the year) you will go into a huge leap in time and you are married and allready have a kid and the whole nine yards, but this game continues on from an earlier game and it says things in your father's point of view, like "You should be very proud of your grandson" (YOUR child.) It is a bit confusing.

If you are looking for a game that will keep you occupied and you won't go absolutly crazed over because there is really no END to the game, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life is it!

This game ROCKS!!, However I never played it but, I can't wait. Some stores when you PRE-ORDER it you get a FREE PLUSHIE COW!! like EB-GAMES. Its better then HM:STH wait its better then all the HM games. You start little and AGE to youth,Teen,Older,Old man. You can get married and have a BOY our GIRL!! This game even gets BETTER!! How you ask well, More ANIMALS,More People,More Vegies,More House buildings,More Places,and YOU CAN EVEN RIDE YOUR HOUSE THREW THE WHOLE!! TOWN LIKE IN HM:STH!!

Okay i started playing harvest moon way back when I was a young kid and let me tell These games are awsome. Espcelly this one, its funny in some scenes it has diverse span of charchters that change as the years go on. You can marry one of the three girls dependning on your tastes you can raise a child and also raise animals on a farm and plant crops. While the gameplay may get repetitve you can always get new things and also hook it up to harvest moon:Friends of mineral town and get new things and meet new people. The graphics are also amazing for a harvest moon game.

I think you will probably need a college degree to play and fully enjoy this game - there is so many things that you must remember to do that it is truly intimidating. Such a wide range of mundane tasks that it will quickly become overwhelming for casual players. And to make it worse, you have to rush about to complete your bevy of chores because each "day" in the game only lasts about 10 minutes or so in real-time, which makes it frustrating - especially when your character gets tired and rests frequently. Too much to do and not enough time to do it.

The true sin of this game though, is the bland graphics and the dull washed-out colors. This is especially unforgiveable being on the Gamecube. Anyone who has played Super Mario Sunshine or Animal Crossing will know the Gamecube is famous for delivering a rich patina of beautiful gorgeous deep and vibrant colors. Not so here on Harvest Moon - heck! Even the color on the gamecase is bleached out.

I know there is a HUGE fanbase for Harvest Moon who will consider my review sacrilege, but that's ok. I was hoping this would be a good casual game for myself and my 8 yr old daughter, but this game is intended for the serious gamers only who have the time, the energy, and the patience required to get your money's worth out of this game.

This game has good morals and sweet characters. It would be good for the younger group with adult assistance.

Good points about the game:
More animals to choose from
Nice graphics
Great storyline
More choices on how you want to live your life

Bad points:
Animals can die and get sick (big dissapointment for younger children)
Hard to earn money
Not all chicken eggs are fertile
Days pass too slowly

This game looks great it has AWSOME graphics very cool age system and it looks so good to play on the gamecube this might be a game for all Harvest moon fans to play. it is the same stuff but with new girls and lots of other stuff

I have two children-both in the gifted and talented program at school- boy age 10, girl age 8, and they love the game. We rented it and plan to buy one soon.
The challenges of making money to buy more animals and grow their own food is fun and educational.
It seems realistic to them- like a real farm would be with responsibilities.
Bravo!

I just read game_winner_243 review and i must agree with him i pre-ordered my game the 13, and amazon said it would be here the 17. I have recently checked my account since it didnt not come today and it said estimated shipping 17 deliever 18. Also what I found when i checked it was that it is 3:32pm here in cali AND IT SAYS MY GAME IS STILL NOT SHIPPED EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE 17TH! I am extremely furious and not sure if even paying the extra 13 for 1 day shipping is worth it. I am highly disapointed in amazon and this wait and bull, is making me want this game extremely less. If my game is not here by tommorow the 18th then i suggest all who have paid for 2 day shipping or 1 day shipping or ne thing just cancel now. Go down to the store tommorow like a wal-mart best buy game stop w/e that sells games. Buy the game there without having to pay for shipping because this is just bull!

WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS MY FEELINGS OF UTTER HAPPINESS, AMAZMENT, ANTICIPATION, AND IMPATIENTCY. Happiness cuz duh, it's a great game, amazement cuz look how amazing it is, anticipation cuz I's gonna be great, and impatientcy cuz it's taking so long for them to release it!! BUY IT I SAY!!!!!! BUT DON'T BUY ALL OF 'EM CUZ I WANT A COPY TO YA KNOW.
