From what i've heard this could possibly bethe best harvest moon yet. I must say, I wasn't addicted to the game boy HM as I was to the Nintendo64 one. I played that game hours upon hours trying to raise a girls heart color. this games graphics for one, are absolutely supurb. the chibi looking characters blend in perfectly to the realisc backround. Not to mention the realistic animals. which brings me to my next topic, you can get so many more new animals. you can get a turtle, a duck, and many different dogs. The world of Forget-me-not valley is very large and extremely beautiful. you basicly know the rest, revived marrige system, the ability to have both a girl or a boy. the only problem is, there only seems to be 3 girls. but, thats okay i could be wrong. in all i can't wait to play it

Fun, but makes absolutely no sense

I am writing this review because I had noticed that somebody had put five stars in the educational category. The only thing educational about this game is that it could encourage smaller children to learn to read better. Now lets cover a list of things that would be very bad for kids to learn.

1. Grapes grow on trees

2. There are giant two-headed plants that talk

3. Carrots grow above ground

4. Turtles wear bandanas

5. Chickens lay golden eggs

6. An entire bag of seed will only grow one plant

7. Flowers are tasty

8. If you scrub a tomb, a ghost will appear

9. Doctors can cut people open with sickles

10. Its cool to wear a leprechaun hat

11. You can eat bananas without peeling them

12. You can eat a fish with the eyeballs still attached

13. There are big fluffy white apes in the wood

14. When you cut trees, little lightning bolts appear

15. You can talk to your father's spirit in a shed

16. Your stomach says "~Guu~"

17. You can find relics by scraping your shovel over two inches of dirt

18. You can eat a special mushroom and shrink

19. There are little people with green hair and red noses called Harvest Sprites

And last, but certainly not least,

20. You can go into a bar and spend all of your money on alcohol!!! %P

Dont get me wrong, its a fun game, but just not educational.

Hi! I'm Jamie Robson and I am here to tell you about the 2nd best game in the world! Sadley in this game you can only be a boy but it is still lots of fun! I'm not going to tell you as much as I did on Animal Crossing, but I will still tell you things about it. This game is also a life game. In this game you on a farm with animals, plants, and buildings! You also can get married and have a boy. But that is all I cn tell you because I already have the boy but I didn't get past that level yet so you and me have to find out what is next!!!!!!!!!

This game was great. At first I was reluctant to buy it but after I did I was glad that I did. you get to choose from a lot of crops and fruit trees, animals, and have a child in the second year (after u get married). The only bad thing is that the cows and goats have to be milked and the character gets tired after ding do much so u have to rest. Its a great game!

It's a Wonderful Game.

Harvest Moon: It's a Wonderful Life is a good example of what Nintendo does best--deliver a good game that the whole family can enjoy. This game is a combination of a lot of genres...RPG, simulation, and strategy. You are basically put in charge of running a farm and turning it into a successful business enterprise. Along the way you acquire a wife and a child. You wouldn't think planting crops and milking cows would have much appeal but the way the game is designed, it really gets quite engrossing! Also, it's one of the few games out where you don't have to use violence to solve your problems.

The graphics, while cartoonish in appearance, are very nicely done with lovely lighting, seasonal, and weather effects. The sunrises and sunsets are very pretty.

This is a game for kids that I think adults would enjoy as well. This adult certainly does!

New and interesting.

This is a wonderful game. It's a type of game that I have never tried before except Animal Crossing and this is much better than that. You raise a farm ,marry a bride, and have a child. It is by far one of the best games I've played. At first it can be confusing, but once you get used to it, it's a great game.

GREAT game that doesn't involve killing

First off, I love FPS (first person shooters) like the next gamer. I've played my share of Halo and Rainbow 6 and all the rest and love them for what they are worth. But there is something to be said about a game that mimcics the act of merely living and growing old rather than destroying everything that moves. In Harvest Moon you spend your time farming and wooing girls instead of hoisting your rocket launcher, and much to my surprise, it's enormous FUN!!! Not giving anything away, but after year one you have a wife and a son and you can start to do things to influence him to choose 1 of several career paths. There is planting to do and breeding of animals, even taking care of baby calves and chickens. It's a truly refreshing game that will have you enthralled for many hours and there is also tremendous replay potential as you try for 1 of 3 potential brides in the game. More games should be made like this but alas the higher concepts are notoriously unpopular and truth be told difficult to make this much fun. Highly recommended for anyone in the family (despite references to sex and some mild comments, it's far weaker than anything most kids see on TV daily).

a fun addicting game

i am a harvest moon freak. i have one for gba, one for gamecube, and one for N64. this one is my favorite. in the nintendo 64 version your kid never grows up, the game just goes on forever. in this one you get older, your wife, animals, son, and neighbors all get older. your son gets a job, gets married, and depending on how you treat your son is how loyal he will be. this game is like life, only on a farm. this game does have an ending, i wont tell you what happens though.

i love to play this game all day on cold, rainy, or snowy days. once you start playing its hard to find a place to stop. u just wanna keep playing. it takes up a lot of memory card space though so make sure you have a new memory card or one that has at least 47 blocks on it before you buy this game.

my favorite part about this game is raising the family. the crops grow the animals give milk and wool but your family is always doing something different. you need to treat your son and wife with respect. especially your son. he is the one who if you treat good will help on the farm but if not will most likely end up at the local bar every night.

u will also need to make some neighborhood friends. they will help you and your son a lot in life. if you dont make any friends no one will give u any thing and your son will never get a job.

Harvest Moon: A wonderful life, is a great game and my personal favorite. You start off as a city-slicker kid who knows more about artichokes than farming. But when his Dad dies he inheirits the family farm he never knew about. His Dad's partner/best friend is there to help you along the way but it's mostly up to you. You start out with only one animal; a cow. You make money off the milk it makes until you have enough saved to buy another animal, either a hen or rooster, another cow, or a sheep. After a while in the game you become lonely and begin your search for a wife. You have three choices; a shy farm-girl, a dumb-blonde flirt, or a mysterious tomboy traveler. To propose though you must find the rare Blue Feather (in your town it's a sign of engagement). However no sure answer if they will say yes. I love this game because it's challenging, is a game with no ending, and down-right fun! Try your luck today at this addictive game.
