I love the Harvest Moon siries because nomater what you do with the game you have fun. you can raise only crops, or make your living fishing. even better, you can do a combo of fishing(my fav.)raiseig crops and owning animals. there is somethin for everyone who likes non-violent gams

This game was awsome. you got to have life on a farm and have lots a fun. if u say its dumb u r really. u get married n have a kid. u really have 2 think about ur stadigie n who u gonna marry n y. id give it 5 stars neday. if u gotta a problem ur the problem.

This game has been the best in the series. There is so much more to do. The characters are quirky and add humor to the game, you can form relationships with and raise your child. It's great. This version has so many more options than the first, you can even upgrade your crops, there are tons to choose from. It is the most realistic one yet. Buy the game and you'll see, it's awesome!

this game is very fun but gets boring every few days then fun again then boring then fun it is an endless chain that goes on forever but I recommend it for any one who has played the sims.

I bought this game for my wife, and this is what she thinks:
The animation isn't like it is on Magical Melody,(prefer cartoon look).
Your maps aren't easy to read and you can end up lost if you don't have your players manual.
She prefers magical melody because you get to choose where you live and name everything.

I loved the original Harvest Moon game for the Nintendo 64, and have enjoyed all the other versions (Playstation 1 & GameBoy) that have been released up until this one. I was very excited when I found out that there was a new Harvest Moon coming out for the GameCube, just to find after I purchased the game that I really, really disliked it. The graphics were beautiful, but that was pretty much the only thing I enjoyed. It was too different from the other games for me, I guess. I didn't like the layout of the farm and the town, and I didn't like the town's characters very much because they were a bit on the odd side. Working the farm had always been fun in the other versions but in this one it was not at all enjoyable, and I really hated the way you had to cut the grass for fodder this time around- it was so annoying how you would have to search around the field to find the grass that was tall enough to cut instead of just waiting until one area was ready to be cut down. I guess the best way to sum it up is to say that I bought the game because I had such success with the previous titles in the series, but in the end I felt kind of cheated and disappointed.

I recon this game is the best! I have the original game on Super Nintendo and it is second best! This game is really fun and enjoyable, but I think their could be a bit more detail. I can't wait for more Harvest Moon's!
