this is such a good game i play for hours everyday its to fun to stop playing. i love blizard entertainment. all of the species are fun to play Zerg,terran, and protoss

Its tons of fun. Ive had this game for 7 years and i still love it. It has endless gameplay, i know cause i haven't done everything. Well judge for yourself. BYE THIS GAME, NOW!

This is the battlechest of the best game made by one of the best computer game companies.(Blizzard) Not only does it have the original game and the expansion, it also has two great strategy guides

This is the best computer game i have evr played it dosn't have much blood/gore and is isn't just fighting. You have to build mine you use your brain for stradegy.

Starcraft is a fun and exciting game. It challenges how fast and effectively you can work, mastering srategy and speed counts. You want to be able to understand each creature/person in the game, so you can use them to the best of your ability. There are single and multiplayer games, including use map settings. If you want an overall hard and strategic game, starcraft is it.

Star craft is one of the all time best real time strategy games. even though it is lacking in graphics by todays standards the advantages such as only needing two resources needed to build anything and customizable maps are a major plus. The only disadvantage of the game is the races are not completely balanced. in my opinion, the protos are much superior than the terran. this is a great LAN game because of the minimal requirements, any recent computer will be able to run it.

I remember 3 years ago when I stumbled onto the StarCraft Battle Chest at Electronics Boutique. I was so filled with joy that I found it for my Macintosh computer - I heard many good reviews of the game. Little did I know that it would ensnare my life...


As soon as I got home, I opened the box and installed both Starcraft and Brood War. Never before and since have I found a Real Time Strategy game with the same combination of storyline and gaming feel (No not even Warcraft III). The single player storyline holds onto your attention as it seamlessly slips from one mission to the next... from one race to the next. The actual game play is awesome. The three races are diverse and balanced very well. No units stick out as being undefeatable. Each race allows for many options in battle strategies.


But two things make this game playable for years - Battle.net and the editor. I remember when I was in 11th grade and talked all my friends into buying Starcraft. We would come home after school and play from 4 until 10 or 11. In the end, we would just call each other and say "Craft?" and the other person would answer either "yes" or "no" and then we would proceed to play if "yes" was said. Then as the creative juices start to flow, the editor is available to create entire campaigns, or just one map. It adds to the longetivity of this game.


Indeed, Starcraft is a great game! From story line to playability, this game has it all. I totally suggest it to anyone who wants a game that will provide you with hours and hours of gameplay.

This has always been a great game i got a copy in early 1999... and loved it. the brood war expansion pack just adds to is worth... the fact that this futuristic RTS game is in a rather cheap bundle only improves a great game from a great company.

Starcraft is the best computer game EVER! After a purchesed the battle cheast I never needed ANY other game. It ever blew away Harry Potter. You can be the Protoss(they rock), the Zerg and the Terran, each with a special ability. Single player missions rock, but to get a good map that you don't need 50 MINERS, I suggest to go to Battle.net and get some SWEET maps. It is the most fun to play agaist friends and smoke m'. If you like this, get Starcraft64. I give it 5 stars.

No way, some people say that this game has a [boring] storyline and is a horrible game. First of all I noticed that most people who state negative things about this game can't spell and use limited grammer. The second thing that I notice is that they all like Red Alert 2 a game that [is bad]. Personally I prefer C&C Tiberian Sun but Star Craft is a fine addition to my strategy game collection. It has a very mature and well thought out storyline which makes the game interesting. I would say that the Cinematic Cut Scenes in between Missions are great but my computer has poor integrated graphics; OUCH! The way that Blizzard has managed to make a game which you can play three totally different species with their own totally different units and structures makes this game better than C&C; except Tiberian Sun which I love. This game is great and the chest pack comes with everything for a measely 20 bucks god how could you call it a bad deal sheash. It even comes with two official strategy guides that really are fun to read and learn about the game-ha try burning that for free off the internet! Hey if your wondering if you should buy this game wonder no more all of the smarter people love this game and man let me tell you, you would have to be dum like those people who hate the game and can't spell to hate this game. Rock on this game is tight at least until I purchase the Diablo chest pack. For those of you who hate this game I'll tell you this Blizzard worked extremly hard on this game and I'm supprise of how well they made this game...
