Worst Game There EVER Was or Will Be.

Do not even think about getting this game, if you are, than first of all look at the date i wrote this, now look at most of the dates of the good ratings, 90% of them are VERY old, the game play is horrible, i am not sure what blizzard was thinking when they made this, no heroes?!?! no main characters to level or anything good? just plain old boring repetition throughout the whole game, if amazon would let me i would make my rating negative, i think i would of had more fun burning the money it cost me.

Game play: how low will it let me?
replay value: good luck getting through the first time without dieing boredom....
graphics: is that a unit or the ground?
overall value: absolutely none

In conclusion, go buy pong, trust me, you'll have a much better time, heck u would have a better time burning your money than buying this piece a crud game.

Red Alert 2 is much more fun to play

Starcraft is a good game, but red alert and red alert 2 are much better. I have red alert on my old machine and i tried to put starcraft on it but it is so bad it lags offline and in missions. I wouldn't spend my money on it, so if you really want it get someone to burn it for you because virtuallly every teen has it. getting it burned isn' teven hard, as there are cd key generators online that will allow you to play on bnet. the graphics are a bit better than red alert, but the gameplay is the real difference. westwood games are just more fun.

I have this game but I havent installed it yet. I dunno if i should. Im to lazy and the grapics dont look good. I havent decided wether it looks fun enough to dounload. I probably will this weekend or sumthing.

The games were good but i thought the stragegy guides ...[weren't]

Starcraft is a must have game for any rts player. I have had itfor a year and it still is my favorite game. The only critisizims ihave is the sound and graphics which is mainly because its a old game. Brood war is a great expansion and starcraft just isnt complete without it. It gives u missions which are a little harder then the original. It also gives u some great new guys which give the teams a horde of new stradegys and build orders.

The one thing i hated was the 2 guides that came with it. The original misions are easy enough so you dont need a guide, and by the time i got to brood war i went right through the intermidiate ones. I also found it gave me no multiplayer help. If you want multiplayer tips and build orders go to ... [their site]

In my oppoinion this is the most stragedic game of all time. The one thing which makes it so great is theres no ultimate stradegy. (going hydralisks beats battle cruisers, zerglings and zealots beat hydralisk andcruisers beat zerglings.) The reason some guys are weak and strong come to the well thought of size and dammage type. Some guys will do better against large enemies (hydra) and some better to small.

Man, i am addicted to this game! If you have an internet server (witch obviously you do) you can play it online it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun! I mean in what other games can u go around nuking people and then sending in massive armys and destroying them? And i know people who are like well command and conquer and warcraft are exactly the same. Well there not. It has a wider wange of units,, better maps, challenging missions it is the best game i have ever played.

I bought the games seperate, but it was worth it. I love StarCraft. I love all the talking and the intros-meetings at the beginning of each mission. My other fave part is blowing up the bases. I love the walking around killing people thing, while my father likes the base building thing. I'm 13, and violence makes this game better. My father and I are strategy game addicts. We have them all: Both StarCrafts, Both Dark Reigns, A Bridge Too Far, Age Of Empires, Ceasar 3, Tiberian Sun (Command and Conquer) and probably more then that. I love these game, my fave side is the humans. My fave character was what's her name the lady who turns into a alien and takes over the Zerg.... Well buy this, cuz you get a guide too.

This game is flat out the best game I ever played. I play it all the time almost nonstop. Some features are that you can play between 3 different races and find their strenghths and weaknesses as you go through the game. This game is very much worth the money. It's also much better than warcraft because it has better graphics, sound, and music. So if you are looking for a game to buy, this is the #1 game.

Alright, first of all, Starcraft was a very fun game. I never had any things i hated about it. Being able to try different stratagies with 3 races, and then the User Map Setting Maps, now those are fun. This game has millions of possibilities. Since Blizzard will be working on a starcraft II in the future, i can't wait till it is released, it will be a Must Purchase Game
