One of the best RTS Games That Gamers Still Play

I played starcraft for much of my time ever since seeing it on the cousins computer. I got it when I was 12 from my cousin on christmas. Now that this game is very cheap to buy now considering how long it has been out on the market(1998) it is still the most played game of its time still today. And some companies shoot further to resemble there games like blizzard did with starcraft and the expansion. Still no body can compete with starcraft the races are all superbly balanced it was mind boggling at first but after I got my head around that it was great. And now since there most recent patch (8.1) which now allows you to save replays of games you have played including online games and share them with your friends so they have a copy. I need to buy a new copy of brood war, I lost mine. But still it is one of the best RTS games that gamers still to this very day.

I have been playing this game for over 5 years, and unlike most games, it hasn't gotten old yet. The online games, that you can create (host), join, and chat in, keep this game everchanging. No game is ever the same, and when the computer gets too easy, or old, a trip online will open up an entire new game experience. You can create your own map to be used by all, or just by you and your friends. There is always something new to do, new people to play, and an everchanging variety of maps. If you ever get online, just try and find me, and I will take you up in a game... allied or 1vs1. Just look for "MongooseMan" on the U.S. East server.

this is the best money that I have spent. I can't get enough. This is a great game because it has a quality that few games have, you never know how much time has gone past. It may seem that only 10 minutes have gone by and it is really a hour. This is a must have item.

This game kicks the extra tush off of the other action games. This game has great strategy, has 3 great races, and has great graphics. the map editor is great, the sound is clear, and multiplayer is "SUPERIOR." If you want a strategy, action, and fun game on your computer desk, go buy this sweet game.

This game is great! Tons of action and stratedgy a storyline that beats most other games. Graphics are good for when it was made and what kind of game it is. Makeing your own map is extremely fun too. If you like Warcraft 2, this game is all that and more. Buy it immediately even if you have to sell the house.

The original StarCraft was cool but in coolness the expansion was almost overdoing it, put them together and you have one kicking product.

And the Battle Chest is even better. You can get both Starcraft, and Starcraft: Broodwar just about the two best games ever made, and both stratigy guides for a mere [dollar amount], I highly recommend this product.

I am a gamer who likes action, stratigy, and just plane fun. This game definatly had all of that and more. With the ability to play multiplayer on the internet, my friends and I are able to play with or against each other. The is a "must buy game."

If you want a goooood deal for your money you better buy this game. Either that or you got something going... The game is based on 3 powers. They're Zerg, Terran, And Protoss. Zerg is virtually a highly evovled species of bug while Terran is the most futuristic human race. Protoss is a race of psychics. You battle against the comp. or against friends. You build, fight, die, and way too much for me to type on this review. This game is gonna, or better blow u away.
P.S. The graphics are pretty darn good.
