FFT is a great game.This game is awsome, but i dont know if the fist one for PS1 is better because i never tried it.The game has some of the best graphics ive seen on gameboy,and is very fun.The reason i rated it 4 stars is because you dont have the choice to wander on your own,as in you cant walk by your self(the computer controls your walking,unless in battles).With a deep story and fun gameplay this game is cool,dont buy for over$30.00(rip off!!!).Buy and have fun!!!

I never had a ps2 or playstaitian so i could never enjoy the infinate fun of the final fantasy titles. But now with final fantasy tactics advance i can. the story line is a little old hat with the old transported to a different time thing but the gameplay is superb. one great thing is that your character is fully customizible! you can even pick the job of your character, weapons also play a big role your character. make sure to see what character can use it and the abbillys it gives your character. to check the abbilitys the weapon allows your character press the right trigger once your on the item.

OK, belive me i loved FFT for the playstation it was awsome, pure stradagy with battle it out battles. i knew the gba version was gunna be a lil toned down with the graphics i had no problem with that, but this!? this is a mockery! a judge? A JUDGE?!!?!? WHAT KINDA JOKE IS THIS?!!?! RULES FOR BATTLE?! no fighting... no spells... no lightining, no etc... i still cant get over the no fighnting rule for some battles, this is a battle for CRISAKE! with random bandits and monsters! n there is a judge???! a judge that tells u what u can and cannot do in battle?! n if u do disobay his laws ya go to PRISION?! what kinda joke is this?! i was expecting a nice battle stradgy game like the psx version, but then they threw in A JUDGE?!?!?!?! good god that is the stupidist thing i have EVER SEEN! i hope i can find the receit (dont know how to spell it). my god, battle = fight, right? then theres the no fight law for some battles?! WHAAAAAATTTTTTT?! I could also see how they were going for a differnt apporch in there game with using kids n stuff i thought it was cute and was redy for a nice lil story, but then came, THE JUDGE! plus they coulda done a lil better with the equiping menu at stores like in the psx version but hey... my recomendation is, dont buy this, if u want tactics jus get the psx version MUCH better. hope this helped.

The origonl is my favorite game of all time and I bought this game when it came out hopeing to god, It would be close engoh to the orignal. I was angery when I found out it was NOT and exact repeat (I knew that before i purcused it) but when I got it and played I was pleased. But I realized Nintendo can ruin classics easliy....

What were they thinking when they created this game? It is probably the worst RPG ever. You start off in a snowball fight and you have to have specific rules to fight....WHAT!!!! Why can't you just fight normally? The battles are horrible and that's pretty much all you do in the game. You have to follow specific rules and all you do is move around and get into position and attack. It is boring watching the monsters move around and the snowball fight takes about 20 minutes!!!! No fight should take that long in the start of a RPG!!!!!! This has horrible gameplay and is no fun. But a die-hard fan of final fantasy who likes RPGS might like it but I don't even count this as a RPG. It is a disgrace to RPGS everywhere!!!!

If this is what the FF series is all about...count me out

I bought this as my first official Final Fantasy game...however, I was very disappointed. I mean the graphics and sound were excellent but all you do is battle! You can't even explore lands...you don't even get to actually control the character except to battle and to go places on this "overview map". I am a die hard RPG fan and let me say this game puts to shame the big hype everyone expected...and degrades the true meaning and reputation of the RPG world.

This game is awesome and that's alot to say out of me i'm one of the biggest final fantisy fans ever my top 5 list goes like this
1.final fantisy X-2
2.final fantisy tactics advance
3.final fantisy ten
4.final fantisy 7
5.final fantisy tactics
a confusing story line at first but it gets clearer and clearer
A 8/10 rating from me but your the one paying the money so choose wisely.

THIS GAME HAS ONE GOOD FEATURE AND IT IS THE GRAPHICS. BUT OVERALL THIS GAME IS BAD. ALL YOU DO IS FIGHT AND NOTHIN ELSE. PLUS THE FIGHTS TAKE LIKE 20 MINUTES EACH, THAT IS WAY TO LONG.

Super gra.Kazdy powinien w nia zagrac.Ja nie mam GAme Boya ale gram na emulatorze i jest zajebista.Szczerze mowiac lepiej byloby zagrac na GBA ale gra posiada wiele zalet.Grafika jest dobra,lecz sens gry RPG jest NAJLEPSZY!!!!!!!BUY IT!!!!
