God Aweful!

The sound is the only thing that is good about this game. (Hence the one star) Everything else is pretty much god aweful. I got this game a present from a friend who knew i liked Tactical games. The first hour i played it, i was already begining to get irked by the lame 'law' system.

The character designs look somewhat okay, but the main guy 'Marche' looks like a girl. This coming from a girl is an insult, he looks pathetic. The equipping system is even WORSE, it took me about an hour an a half only to find it! (I dont read manuals)

Trust me, if you're into Tactical Games, get something like Fire Emblem, now thats a game!

One of the greatest gameboy games ever!

Final fantasy Tactics advance is probably among the greatest games i have ever played. when i was younger, i remeber watching my brother play final fantasy tactics for hours on end, and i became completely enthralled by it. Not only have thay managed to create an entirely diferent storyline, character class system etc... but they gave you an option of how long it lasts.
The game starts out in the snowy town of St. Ivalice, and then, Mewt (a reccuring charicter whom you never use) opens a magic book, and wishes that the world could be like the game Final Fantasy (lets ignore the redundancy shall we?) and hazzah! the world becomes just like game.
Within the game, you fing Montblanc, a moogle who lets you into his clan (small army), and from then on out, you fulfill missions, lead your clan, and boost up your characters, all while trying to destroy five crystals, and finding a way back home.
All in all, this game is emmensly addictive, they give you the option of beating it slowly or quickly depending on wheather or not yoiu want to make alot of sidequests. The battle play is increadibly fun, and your guys can learn some really cool attacks. graphics aren't the best ive ever seen, but are in no way bad. If you are looking for an absolutely fantastic game, i'd suggest Final Fantasy Tactics Advance hands down.

The best game ever

This is one of the best games for the gameboy advance. If you ever have a chance to get this game then get it. It is one of the best final fantasies ive played because you get to change jobs and there are over 200 missions that you can do. You HAVE TO GET THIS GAME!!!!

Exact same game as Tactics Ogre

This game is practically an exact duplicate of Tactics Ogre:Knight of Lodis, which was made by Atlus(now a part of Square(the people making this game)). It utilizes the same game engine, thus the graphics are identical. You can get Tactics Ogre for ... CHEAPER so it's not really worth it to buy this replica, since they are the same game but with a different back story.

boring, waste of time

I don't get why everyone is going bonkers for this game. I played for a few hours and was bored out of my mind. You spend half of the time just sitting there watching the AI monsters move around. Couldn't they speed it up a little? Move here, click Fight, fight that guy, fight that guy, ok wait wait wait wait wait wait, ok fight fight...done. Lather, rinse, repeat. Wow, fun.

And can somebody explain to me why I get to CHOOSE where towns are put on the map? That's just weird and is not explained at all.

The graphics are pretty nice, but that's about all I can say. I don't care how 'deep' the character system is, this game is boring.

DO NOT GET THIS GAME

When I first got this game I had high hopes for it but after 20mins. the game play became reptative. I like FinalFantasy games but this game (like the movie,Spirits Within)shouldn't have FinalFantasy as it's name;it's misleading. If you want a good stratagy game for the GBA get Fire Emblem.

The best Final Fantasy yet.

Why? It's portable, better graphics than most GBA games, Doesnt copy all of the other Final Fantasy games by inventing a new gameplay idea though still maintaining the feeling of playing a final fantasy game, great replay value (considering it's long and there isn't a way you must go, so it's different every time). After playing this game for 4 days i checked the timer(tells you when you save) and i had been playing for 25 hours. now ive had it for about 7 days, and i have 57 hours. one time i switched my GBASP on and not wanting to play FFTA at the time, but i just played it anyway. then all of the sudden i was pulled into the game and i couldn't stop playing it was so fun. when i finally stopped, i had played for 3 and a half hours. BUY THIS GAME IT IS WORTH YOUR MONEY!

FFT IS AWSOME
