Very Tight & well balanced. Huge vurtual, hours of game play

This is a 4 disc game. If your looking for a constant fighting game, dont get this. However, if you got a few hundred hours and some patience, get this. I was tired of games i would play for a few hours and be bored. You know the deal... Same thing over and over again, always knowing whats going to happen ahead of time. Well, this is different. Huge always changing enviroments, and great story and graphics and very important to me is the fact that you can really interact with just about everything and anything. Buy stuff at the store, call from payphones, pick up things and inspect them. You got to get this game.

Shenmue is the best game on dreamcast because it has great graphics.The graphics are so accurate that you can even see a twitch of a finger.The sound is good to the music fits just right in the game.Also the opponents are good.Plus there is a great ending.So dont take any longer bye this game.So i rate this game 5stars it deserves it.

yes i have had this game for about a week and i have allready completed all three dics. I give this game 2 stars becouse in the book it said to have the object of the game by april 1987 and you start in dec.3,1986. Now don't get me wrong the game is great and the game play is great,but any game that take's 6 years to make sould take at least 2-3 mounths to get threw.If the people that made this game plan on have more dics to buy that's great they would get more stars but only god knows how long that will take,look it took 6 year for this one if it take another 6years for the next by then you will have no clue on what's going on in the game.

i love this game!everything about it is awesome! the graphics,controls, sound,gameplay is all topnotch. it makes me want to SHIM FASWAH again! my only gripe with the game is i wish i could replay all the qte's and fight sequences without having to play the game over. i have one thing to say to you: BUY IT and KIL ZAG!

Well, you always hear about the good games and the bad games, well this time it is for real. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, Sega of America has brought to you the number one game that is so detailed, even Ryo's father is rolling over in his grave. As the warning says, you must get this fantastic game. Thank you.

This game is a good game, not great just good. The graphics were state of the art a few years ago, but still pretty nice. Sound is ok. The control of the character is a bit cumbersome. Nice game, although not FIVE stars, I would recommend it.

Alright, You've probably read the reviews. 99% of the people either loved the game, or hated it with a passion. Personally, I'm one of those who loved it. It has a semi-slow pace(you don't need to race through it), but the details are astounding. After you've gotten used to the controls, it becomes addicting. If you have several hours to dedicate to playing games, I recommend buying this game. The graphics and visual effects are breath taking, but not perfect. There are slight flaws you'll be able to pick out, early on. Almost everything is accessable to you. You can play games in the local arcade, feed and pet a kitten, and even make phone calls. These activities and many more will get you caught up in the amazing depths this game provides. If you are not the type of person who likes to explore amazing environments and make use of every second of gameplay, don't buy this game. I recommend you rent it first. Get a taste of the gameplay first, then , if it appeals to you, buy and enjoy it. Like me, many of my friends have formed an addiction to this game. We all have one similar dislike. I won't spoil the ending for you, but the game ends in an inconvenient place. It is obvious that Sega intends to make a sequel fairly soon, but that means I would have to spend another fifty bucks just to finish the story I got myself caught up in. I was slightly disappointed in the ending, but I am waiting for the sequel. I won't let the cost stop me. I'm one of the many people who fell in love with this saga, and I intend to finish what I started. Thank you for reading my review, and I hope I helped you decide. ENJOY!

Yu Suzuki changed the world of sega with Shenmue. This adventure, fighting game sends you on a trip you will never forget. This action packed game sends you on the edge of your seat. This high drama sends you into the world of Japan having you meet new people trying to find the man that killed you father. This game brings you into a real world with real citys. I checked it up. This game changed the world of Dreamcast and all Sega systems. You get to handle forcklifts and get to go against gangs like the MadAngels and tough sailors at bars. This game is rated T for teens but im only 12 and i've beaten Shenmue and Shenmue 2. Meet anonymous characters like Ryo Hazuki, Ine-san, Fuku-san, Iwao Hazuki and Master Chen. You wont want to miss this game that sends RPG to a different level. Dont miss this.
