i love this game, it is so cool. i played this game for a long time, it will keep you busy and it is so addictive, i'm wasn't really fond of FPS, but i am now. the coolest thing is that i never played the first timesplitters. so i really didn't know what i was getting into. my overall opinion of this game is that it rocks and that you can't go wrong with it even if you rent it, but i recommend that you buy the game, because you will be pleased!

Needs a save game option!

For potential buyers, I want to particularly highlight a major downfall of this game: there is no option to SAVE. In otherwords, if you don't completely clear a level at one sitting, once you turn the game off you must completely start the level over. Additionally, even during one sitting there are very few checkpoints (1 in the first level), so when you die you end up returning over and over and over and over to the beginning of the level, or the previous checkpoint. For those of you who can't always sit for indefinte hours straight to play, this is a huge negative.

I'm really starting to enjoying this game. Graphics are great and gameplay is very easy. If you played halo, then you can play this. Exactly the same. This game will make you grit your teeth, it is a difficult game, even on regular mode. They do have an easy mode if you really start steam. The story mode isn't the only gameplay in the game. Timesplitters 2 has many many extra games that you can do if you get tired of playing the story mode ie.. you can get cheats and play as different characters there are over 50+ that you can play with. This game should keep you busy for quite a while, if your a casual gamer like I am. I've read other posts that people have beat the game in 4hrs. I can assure you thats' not the norm in this game. It should keep you entertained for a while. Well worth it.

I would have given this game 5 stars only on the account of it being easy. It's really not that hard but its fun to play. I especially like the multi-player mode. With 4 people of course! If you like FPS then rent, and if you like it that much buy it! It's worth the [cost] and try not to wear it out and having to buy a new one. It has decent graphics and good but not great weapons, but it is an above average game. My advice is rent it .... rent it again and if you like it, buy it!

I have to say I was pretty disappointed in the game. Every level seemed about the same as the last. I rented it (thank God I was smart enough not to BUY it) thinking that it would get me through the 5 days of downtime I had. Unfortunately, I beat the ENTIRE game in one night. I haven't played the multiplayer levels, so there may be some hope yet.

I am so happy i bought this game, it is very similar to halo, which is a really good thing. sure i beat the game on easy in two days, but when you play it on normal each level is very different and much longer. On normal the fourth level in the game is twenty minutes longer then it is on easy, it makes such a difference. the loser that beat it in one day played it on easy and thats y he beat it so fast and complained. The real reason why this game is great is because of the multiplayer. Me and my friends are some of the few people that take advantage of the system link on xbox, and we only used to play halo 8-12 player... now this is our new halo multiplayer wise. i have also just played unreal championship and i am soon buying that (its mutli player is slightly better), but it doesnt have a story mode which is a rele good aspect to timesplitters 2. i would recommend it to any halo fan, which is almost anyone who owns an xbox.

This is at least one of the best FPS's for GC. One of the upperhands it has on Halo is that it's exciting, and that the story levels actually seem to have some thought put into them. The game will keep you busy. First you have to beat Story Mode, then all the Arcade and Challenge levels. And there are lots of charecters,40+, not just a bunch of aliens and army men. The controls are simple-I learned how to operate the weapons, which there are a lot of, ranging from a crossbow to a SBP 90, to a plasma autofire, the first day. Some other games I couldn't figure out how to pull out the gun. And there are so many, twice as many as Halo. I've had it a year, and I'm still playing it daily. Time Splitters, which debuted on the PS2, was nominated for game of the year, and the second TS is even better than the first. My favorite part is that you can create your own levels, which only take up a little space on the memory card. I can make levels more interesting than those on Halo. Multiplayer is really fun too, and can compete with Halo. I love blasting people's heads off with the sniper or the 12 gauge, or setting them on fire and hearing them scream. You can all play as one team or against each other, so it's a great game for parties. And the enemies have great AI. I gave it five stars because it's all around. It has great weapons, charecters, okay graphics only because they are arcade style, and an interesting story line, one that could happen, and that people fear/ed could happen. Had it since it came out, and play it as much as Halo. Halo is just so damn overrated, despite it being a great game. And I'm not just some ignorant person, no, I actually own Halo.

The game has a story line realy close to 007 for N64. The controls [] are to sensitive and they don't do enough actions or any combos. Even though it has better grphics, 007 is still better. The game also follows Halo a little bit. Personaly Halo is the number one choice for a shooting game for all systems. All in all this game [is bad]. Take my word for it, don't get it. If you still are thinking about getting the game rent it first and then see what you think.

for me if it has a bad camera angle and bad aiming it [stinks]. That is why I say this is the worst game i ever played. I played the first level and I am still stuck it the same place for weeks, and I still can't get past the first part.
