I love this game, ive played it every day since i bought it (ive beat it 3 times already).I recomend it for any tolkien fans like myself.I enjoyed Frodos stealthiness,Aragorns action packed fighting, and Gandalfs magic(though you wont need it that much). The orc dam, amon hen,and the mines of moria were my favorite levels.I own EAs The Two Towers but this game is better. I liked having the feature of hitting select and being able to see the map and what your objectives are.But the game is far too short and my character would freeze up sometimes.other than that its a fantastic game.

Okay, let me start that I'm not a great gamer. But I do know when someone puts time into making a game. From beggining to end its great fun. Fighting trolls as Aragon, slipping past Ringwraiths as Frodo and casting spells as Gandalf. The realism could be better to make it tougher or harder, you get shot with arrows about 10 times before you die. And it takes about a million hits to beat some guys. And I'm asking to much but I wish now that there was a direction arrow or something. It would cut off about an hour in the mines of Moria. And I wish that you could look at your goals after they show them so you dont forget them. But seriously, this is a great game. Its a must have for anyone who likes action/adventure. Who doesnt? Its my favorite game after all the games I've played. It even made me want to read the book! Talk about perfect transfer from book to game. Tolkien would be proud.
I know what I must play, but I am afraid to play it!

Ok this game is just like the cartoon, tom bombadil is in it which makes it kinda cool and the fighting is great too but this isn't what makes the game well how do you say different. It has a different type of way of playing i mean it's noit every day you find a game that is just like the book i mean please. They could of saved they're time and made a hobbit game i mean the missions are difficult the game play is soso. It's too damn dark and the riders in black scare the helll out of me. so if your ready for a messed up version of J.R.R Tolkien's the fellowship of the rings go right ahead
by the way you can be gandalf and aragorn
gandalf casts spells and aragorn kicks...
A Phenomenon!

This game should make history! It is the only 'Lord of the Rings' video game that I have played that went by the books very well. Though there are some changes made in it so that the game could amuse the people who play it. But so what! Those changes apart from the book made the game very exciteing and fun to play. Buy it! It is a phenomenon!

I have just made it out of the Moria level in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring PS2 game. So far this version of The Fellowship of the Ring is better than the XBox version that I have played because there are no glitches; no long, terrible loading times; and, thankfully, there aren't as many optional quests as was in the XBox version. All in all The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring seems to be a very fun game that has great graphics and gameplay.

"The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" video game for the Sony PlayStation2 is great!
1. "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" video game for the Sony PlayStation2 has wonderful graphics, sound, gameplay, and a good storyline to offer.
2. You play as three brilliant characters. And they are: Frodo the hobbit, who is good at using stealth to hide from his foes; Aragorn the ranger, who is good at fighting his foes; and Gandalf the wizard, who is good at using spells and magic against his foes.
3. The game is very fun to play! And at times it can be very srategic, adventureous, and action-packed.
4. There are many incredible fantasy characters brought to life from the author J.R.R. Tolkiens "Lord of the Rings" book trilogy which I have read and which this game is, of coarse, based on. The fantasy characters in this game are: huge spiders, phantoms, orcs, trolls, elves, a wizard, hobbits (which are halflings), and much more.
5. "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" is a very fun, adventureous, and action-packed video game to play for the Sony PlayStation2 (making one of my most favorite video games to own).
Now that's Lord of the Rings!!!

Hello. The names DC and here on Amazon, I rate movies and video games that I own or have played before. I have to say that this is the Lord of the Rings video game to buy, a lot better than EAs LOTR video games. The game is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's first book in the LOTR trilogy, not the movie. Vivendi has done an excellent job with it, but there are a few things that I'd like to point out. First off, I wish there were more playable characters and two, there should have been more levels. Other than that, It's a great addition to any LOTR fan's collection. I had bought it two years ago and had beaten it but it got stolen. I'm recently borowing it from a friend and I'm going to buy it Febuary 1st. I giving it Five stars and recommend that you buy it since it's only 19.95.
Really Boring!!!

If you are a fan of Tolkien like me then do not play this game. It didn't even seem like I was in Middle-earth when I played it. "The Fellowship of the Ring", like all other "Lord of the Rings" game titles, gives people a bad look at Tolkien's world.

I was really looking forward to this game, but I can't get past the dark riders. The rest of the game, I don't know about, but the one reason that I wanted to write a review is that my computer is crashing all the time when I'm playing this game. That is one of the disappointing things about the game. My husband says that it is to be expected, but I have several other games and none of them make my computer stop working.
