This game is way better then those other games, especially the ... games like Final fantasy which takes no skills.

this review is being written before the game comes out however soley based on the 2 playstation versions of spiderman games out already and the hundreds of comics I have read. combined with the amazing graphics the playstation 2 displays. this will be the most excellent video game of it's time.

this is "the" coolest game to have ever been made. in this game you are super free to rome the big apple and sit on the top of skyskrapers, and leap off them and free fall until you shoot your webbing out. and you can walk aroung on the streets with all the cars. and weg sling where you want when you want.
i highly recomend you people get this game you wont regret it.

This game looks awesome! The fighting, the storyline, the graphics, all look great. This game will be one of the best games on the Playstation2 (behind FFX, of course.)

I know this isn't out till june 7th in UK but I just had to say something about this game (which will undoubtably be the best game of all time). Screenshots so far look amazing and really show of the PS2's graphical capabilities. The sense of freedom when your web-slinging around New York will be great especially when your battling the ggoblin. Not sure if u can go down to street level (proberly wont be able to) but that shouldn't take anything away from the gameplay.
EVERYONE should buy this game, EVERYONE:)

a great game except for spiderman's "pause" after he gets touched or shot, making it hard for a superhero to take out simple thugs......surely spidey should be tougher to bring down.
great swinging graphics, would have loved to go ground level in city sections.also spidey sense should kick in during all dangers unseen.
it is also hard to sneak up as soon as you hit someone, everyone around comes running, but i guess a more powerful spider man would not care. love the wise cracks, keeps true to the marvel character. well hopefully the "bugs" we'll be worked before my game comes out. peace

Well this would have been 5 stars but it had a few little things that I was hoping wouldn't be there. First of all, the web still connects to open sky. In the movie, we see him shoot his web onto the side of the building and swing around using the buildings. But in the game your web just connects to clouds. That is an odd site. Second, I beat the game in just a few hours. I was hoping for something a little harder. And I also wanted more city levels. The most fun I had in this game was slinging in the cities, but that only happens a few times...And the last thing is I couldn't get onto the street. What is that about? It just wouldn't let me onto the ground, it would automatically shoot out web before I could land...I really did enjoy this game, I did nothing but play it since I got it... It is REALLY worth buying...

OK here is the deal ladies and gents. BUY THIS GAME!!! you cannot lose. It was released yesterday and I played until my alarm went off this morning. I haven't pulled an all nighter with a game since I was about 10(legend of zelda). Anyhow gameplay is intense, Webbing everything in sight is cool the story is cool, the characters are straight from the actual movie, and you really are free to do anything go anywhere and I just cannot say enough.

BRAVO!!! Activision BRAVO!!!
