Spiderman has great graphics and has great movement but is too easy. But otherwise if you like action games its a good one to get. It is very fun web swinging and climbing buildings. But otherwise it's a good game.

The Best Super-Hero Game Out There!

I was really excited to get this game because I really enjoyed the movie. I was not dissapointed at all. The game has great features. You can do a variety of moves and combos to defeat your oponents as you progress more into the game. For those of you who weren't satisfied with only one villain in the movie, the game has more like the Shocker, Vulture, and Scorpion. The graphics are well done and the city looks great! This game is definetely better than the previous Spider-Man games on PS1. My only complaint about the game is the voice acting. Tobey Maguire gets really annoying with his constant, cheesy, one-liners. Other than that this game is really fun and definetely worth buying.

I think it's cool...

I like this game a lot because the moves and graphics are awesome...but It is a little hard to get past about the fourth level :D but maybe that's just because of how bad I am at video games. I recommend this game. It's a lot of fun.. but I guess I do get bored from time to time considering how I can't get past a certain level..

This game is AUSOME! It has web slinging, zip lining and you can even get combo attack tokens. This game even has it's own training mode (basic, intermediate, advanced). Also the graphics are ausome,if you put on a big screen it will look in your face 3D (it's already 3D).So if you ask me you should get this game.

ONE of the best comic book based video games

I'll give this game 4 out of 5 because the graphics are really enhanced with the 3-D environment and The great Spidey movement animation, and the sound quality is top quality as well, but Spiderman himself doesnt quite strike me as the true comic superhero for people to look up to. Not to mention hearing Tobey Magwire narrating throughout the game gets me irritated. Like I said, this is one of the best comic based video games for one of the best superheroes, but I leave my praise as THE best to Wolverine and X2 Wolverines revenge. That being the best game for a comic superhero for more advanced video game players to appreciate. I expect the younger and less mature crowd to appreciate Spiderman and child oriented spidey games, leave Wolverine for the older players.

Spider-Man is a great game, I had it for a while, 'till I made a dumb move, I traded it <:(. I will always regret that but I'll get a new copy, soon. I would get this game if I were you since this was the FIRST game I had, and traded it for a game I don't play anymore and I haven't even beat Spider-Man on Hero and Super Hero. I seriously would get this game.

MY spidey sense tells me you should buy this game

This Is a great game for any spiderman fan. It has the same basic storyline as the movie but of course it is changed a bit so there are more levels. To get new combos you have to find yellow spiders that are usually hidden. ( Just a tip on the showdown with Vulture level. Don't get the combo on top of the building until it stops lightning. Trust me YOU Will get struck by lightning).

This game is worth adding to your collection but you can beat it very quickly. Don't worry there are a lot of cheat coads and stuff to make it last. I've had it for two years and there are still things I haven't done yet.

this game isn't that bad but some of the things stink.Like when you have to go to oscorp and beatup the robots i havn't beaten that yet and you cant go on the ground.and you have to fight some people tht wern't in the movie.but the graphics are really good and its not that violent so little kids can play it.
but you might like this game so rent it

Great Action, 6 year old loves to play. Has not played another game in a month. Can make Spiderman do everything swing, zip, punch, kick, flips, make web domes, shoot web balls, even rides piggy back on bad guys shoulders for a big laugh! A must have for every young Spidey fan.

Frustrating at times

This Spiderman game is based on the movie. It is a 3D adventure game, featuring all of the movie Spiderman's abilities. It is moderately difficult. The camera angles are poor, and the character controls are stiff, and reaction speed slow. I thought the stealth mode was not implemented very well, as most of the time you have to fight the same people you could hide from anyway. The graphics are mediocre at best. The music is pretty average.

Despite my criticisms, the game is somewhat fun. There are surprise attacks that you have to dodge, as spiderman would. There is a decent amount of robustness to the level of interactivity with the environment. For example, you can pick up, throw, or kick objects. The objects have different physics such as rolling for tires and explosions for certain containers. You can climb on walls and ceilings, and shoot a web to pull yourself to a wall or ceiling, although you may not shoot diagonally.

Additionally, the controls are explained well and are fairly intuitive. If you are a fan of spiderman or 3D adventure games, you might want to give this game a try. Otherwise I would tread carefully and not spend too much money renting or buying this.
