Tony hawk pro skater is an awful game. There is alot of blood, and it is annoying. The music is poor, using poor word choice.It is very annoying. Buy thrasher instead. It's a little bit of fun stating around, but it really sucks. It DEFINETLY ISN'T WORTH THE PRICE.

I love this game, though it is intially pretty easy to beat, the game gets really fun when you try to perfect your runs and beat your high scores. The button combos are simple to use and perfect for a skateboarding game. The games has enough different choices of skaters (including a hidden skater)and courses to keep almost anyone interested. So far my highest combo is 67,000.

I am a nine year old Playstation Freak. There's no getting bored with this game. Me and my 3 brothers fight to see who plays first. I'm the youngest - so guess what? - I play last. Once my brother played this game all night long with his friends. Along with a real skateboard I need this game so bad! I can even pull a kickflip to 540 flip in the game along with some other awesome moves. This game is a must have!

I loved this game. It is so fun. I love beating all my friends at it. This game makes an excellent gift for anyone. It also contains awesome songs by underground bands. This game is perfect for anyone who skateboards or those who try to skateboard. I wish they will make a Tony Hawk 2.

I'm not much into this kinda stuff, skating and junk. But i decided i would rent it to check it out, cuz a couple of skaters at my school said it rocked, and they were right! I first chose Tony Hawk, since the game is named after him, but he wasn't what i expected him to be. THen i tried Chad Muska, DANG! It was so much fun, and it is easy in a way at first, but then it gets nice and challenging, exactly how i like it. I spent hours trying to get everything perfect. I must say this game has probably made me an avid watcher of events similar to this. Besides all this junk, i'll leave you w/one final comment. This game looks and feel amazing, it is one of the best games ever, and should win a ton of awards. It will leave your mind reeling, and you will probably play it hours on end. For skaters and non skaters!

This game can not be simply categorised as a game-as a skateboarder for more than 10 years, this game provides me with a tool to explore the creativity which not only skateboarders can relate to.

The graphics are nothing but 100% mind-blowing, and I have found that landing a 900 is extremely challenging in this game. Hawk has obviously consulted with Activision and created a replica of the true nature of skateboarding and the extreme difficulty of this emerging "supersport". If somebody from Amazon reads this..please organise to have this game sold to your international customers...

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is definitley the Best Game of '99. Who cares about Final Fantasy 8, Get Pro Skater. The graphics are top-notch, controls are excellent, soundtrack is decent, and replay value is outstanding. I got this game about 3 months ago, and I'm still playing it everyday. If you like skateboarding buy it right now. If you don't like skateboarding and don't know anything about it...still go buy it now! C'mon go do it, CLOSE THIS WINDOW AND GO TO YOUR LOCAL VIDEO GAME STORE. Its the best skateboarding game, and best game of '99.

This game just plain rocks. My 4 year old son was beating me so I had to grab the book and study up but then the game got really fun. I just can't stop playing it. What a game.

Tony Hawk is an all around great game. I don't skateboard, but after hearing what a good gane it was, I decided to rent it. Wow! It took me about five or ten minutes to get the basic controls down. After that I was glued to the screen for about six hours! One of the reasons I found this game to be so great was the fact that once you have gotten all five tapes in a level, you find that there is so much more you can do. I'd think about taking up skateboarding but after seeing some of the spills in this game, I'm having second thoughts!
