The game of the Century!

About two years ago I was really into skateboarding and i just loved it. i then got into videogames. I was reading an issue of GAMEPRO magazine and saw that TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER was going to be released in Fall '99. I bought the game as soon as it was released! I have been hooked on this game for over three months now. The gameplay is tremendous. This game is not like ones that if you try to turn off onto a side street and it will bounce you off. In THPS you can skate freely ANYWHERE! The game includes all major skaters including Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, and Chad Muska. The levels, in this game, really make everything happen! There are skateparks and streets from all over the country! I give this game the highest rating possible! It is worth the money and there is no need for a sequal. Like PRINGLES says.. Once you pop you cant stop!

Blissful gift, trust me.

If you are considering buying this game for a son, nephew, husband or friend, stop thinking. BUY IT. I am a 35-year-old avid game player and father, and I believe this is one of the best PlayStation games available, and one of the most fun single or multi-player videogame ever made. And I have never ridden a skateboard. GET IT.

Well i purchased Tony Hawk figuring it would just be a normal ok game but it is ten times better then i thought it would be its the best game in the world.You can do a seemingly everlasting amount of truicks after my friend tried the game he bought it for his N64 within 7 days of my purchase of the PlayStation version. The graphics are solid the sound on PlayStation is btter then N64's and has awesome punk music. The game is extremely addictive. The level design is excleent. You can skate around downtown Minneapolas and get hit by cars. You can skate around San Fransisco. And it features a New York Mall, A school in Miami. And if oyu get far enough in hte game you can visit Roswell,New Mexico and see the aliens and UFO. I give this fame a 6/5

There is only one word to describe Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, AWEWSOME! This is the best Playstation game ever made. The graphics are great especially the blood when the skaters make a spill. The levels are humongous and nothing but excitement all around. I just regret i didn't get this title sooner. The controls could be a lot better but I finally got the hang of it after long hours of practice. Great game.

Very fun hard to give it up after playing for the first time. Will have fun for months and months. All of your friends can compete with you. I would say that it is the best two player competition that there is!

This is the best video game I have ever played (and I own 4 different game systems)! Music fits the mood. Love the courses! Fun to play when your out with a broken foot from falling during a half-pipe move! Doctor recommended too! GREAT FOR AGES 5 ON UP! Kids love beating you in the Graffiti mode or HORSE. Warning to parents with younger children! There is some colorful language used in a few of the songs on this game!

This game showcases some of the best level design and graphics on the PlayStation. Simple controls and forgiving physics make it easy to bust out incredible tricks on your first run. If you're a hardcore gamer or skater you may also want to look at the new "Thrasher" game from Rockstar - different style, more realistic, more tricks. Depends on what you like.

Very good precision gaming great graphics many tricks to do keeps you occupied for hours. Even if your a rpg game player or another type of game player youll love to play this game. exelent modes of gameplay--- HEad 2 head, career, free skate,sigle session, and options and a vidio mode where you can see your fav riders vids if you win the game with that player OVERALL deafintely buy this game it is well worth your time

This game is the best game I have ever played for any system. The graphics rule, the gameplay takes awhile to get the hang of the tricks, but once you do it is sweet, the courses rule, you can go anywhere from a warehouse to a school and even the mall!The skaters are based on real-life pro's (duh!), the skateboards are from real-life companies, and you can even choose your skateboard wheel color! I would recommend this game to anyone! Even if you don't like skateboarding or skateboarding video games, I swear, you will absolutely love this game!

I love this game. I personally don't know a thing about skating in real life, maybe that's why I love this game so much. I've been addicted to this game every since the first time I played it over at a friends house,the moves are easy to get a handle on, but mastering to be the best,hmmm. Let's just say you'll enjoy learning how to become the best on the P.S. I honestly do enjoy this game. The graphics could be better as with all P.S. games, but it so much fun to play, especially against friends in "Horse" or whatever you change the name of it to :). Play this game once and I know you'll play again and again.
