I absolutelt loved Allied Assault so I also was extremely excited to hear about Spearhead. I agree with everyone else who says that the game is too short but can you honestly say that this expansion or basically extra missions which is about what the expansion pack amounts to were not extremely FUN! Personally I found some of the missions to be the best of the entire allied assault game period, for example the stage where you blow the bridge up. I mean sure the game is pretty short, but it's not pathetic or anything. I personally am extremely satisfied with Spearhead and feel that I got my money's worth.
I also love to play online as well and have not noticed any lag issues that some of you speak of. I do run a cable modem, but is that not what you were referring to? I have no lag what so ever. The new multiplayer missions are the bomb! I highly recommend this game to anyone who loved MOHAA. I personally give the game 5 stars. However I can see where some people may have been disappointed with the length of the game. The bare minimum that this game would ever deserve is 3 1/2 stars, and that would have to be from someone who really doesn't care for MOH. Plain and simple, for me at least, Medal of Honor Allied Assault with Spearhead Expansion is my personal favorite game PERIOD. The only other expansion pack that could change my mind in the upcoming near future would have to be the Wolfenstein expansion, time will tell, I do hope that there is a little more to that however.

A kick (...) game with Kick (...) affects.

I only played one level in the game allied assault and it was so cool, and I beat the game in frontline.now with the Battle of the bulge in here and the 101st Airborne in, it will be a award winning action pack game.It is kind of like the HBO hit BAND OF BROTHERS.But any way keep up the good work and i assure you this is just a satisfied consumer who made a wise investmeant in buying this game.

Thank you:Daniel

The Best in FPS History...

Allied Assault Spearhead as well as its predecessor are by far the best shooters I've ever played. Unreal Tournament 2003, for examle, falls short of it, simply because I dislike its style. More specifically, it's too fast paced and you feel like you're a Ferrari and everyone you're trying to shoot are also Ferrari's. It gets VERY frustrating. MOHAA's game speed is perfect for a war FPS. I can't seem to find any flaws in the game. The multiplayer aspect of the game is worth the retail price alone. Sound is the best I've ever heard. VERY addictive gameplay. It's a game that's going to result in forgetting what food is. I also sometimes find myself craving for the gun action in the middle of something I'm doing. Could be kind of scary but what can I do...Buy this game.

Spearhead Review

All too often is the Soviet Union left out of WWII games, even though almost 60% of the dead in the War were Soviet citizens. The last level of Medal of Honor: Spearhead, "Road to Berlin", fixes this. Though not especially historically accurate -Berlin was taken in May of 1945, not January, and the "new" T-34 model came out in 1943, and not '45, as the game implies- everything else is perfectly realistic. From D-Day to Berlin, I enjoyed the game immensely.

The game includes two previously missed but major battles: Bastogne and Berlin. Bastogne was the most fun to play, especially defending the frontline against the Germans. D-Day was included in the original.

Overall, the game fixed one major problem of Allied Assault by adding British and Russian troops to the mix. It also made gameplay smoother and multiplayer more fun. Thank you, EA Games!

MOHAA - great fun, but small flaws

Medal of Honour : Allied Assault is undoubtedly a great game. Fast-paced and unnervingly realistic, I have only two complaints; how does Powell manage to carry around 200 kgs of stuff, and why is there no strategy-based attack (eg your buddies cover you and vice-versa)?
Despite these problems, medal of honour is most definitely worth buying.

It doesn't matter if you are a hardcore online gamer; if for nothing else, buy this game for the new single player missions, they are K I L L E R !! The graphics will suck you in and keep you, from 3000 feet above Normandy and on! Of course the game is as scripted as Allied Assault, but talk about feeling like you are starring in your own HBO mini-series! Crank up your pc sound system, and listen to the enemy wail as you waste them with guns that would make Ted Nugent blush! If you liked Allied Assault, you will LOVE this one! Now go play in the snow!

Great Fun!

First off, let me start by refuting some previous reviews. This game does not run a bad frame rate if you TURN DOWN SOME OF THE GRAPHIC SETTINGS. Even after they are turned down, the game looks great. And there are NO annoying snipers.
Admittedly, the single player is short. But it is a total blast when playing! Yes, it is scripted, but the first time through that scripting makes it all the better! The sound is incredible, the graphics amazing, the gameplay awesome, and the weapons are cool. And the attention to detail is simply incredible. i.e. When you plant a 'sticky bomb' in the rain, the fuse will fizzle out, and you will have to shoot it to get it to blow up!
Most people don't realize that Spearhead is mainly multi-player. Tons of new maps, and the really cool new mode of gameplay Tug of War.
If you liked Allied Assault you must get this game!

Just as good as the base game

If you like Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault, you will also like this game. It has the usual enhancements expansion packs generally have. Fundamentally however, this is more of the same as the original had. And that's a very good thing!

For some reason, the Medal Of Honor franchise manages to create an immersive athmosphere like no other first person shooter I am aware of. Although I am sure having been there was quite a different experience, this certainly gives you a feel of "being there".

Spearhead is awesome

... I pretty much only play online using Gamespy's server system and I think Spearhead is a huge improvement from the original Medal of Honor. Spearhead allows you to club your opponent with your weapon, while in MOHAA you could only club with the pistol. Also new weapons make the game exciting. Great new Bolt Action rifles( Lee Enfield and the Russian Mosin rifles are great weapons in multi-player modes)
... I experience no lag. I do have a DSL connection but big deal, who cares. Get a faster connection. 56K would not work well. I also have a good video card(radeon 9000 pro) and I have 512 RAM but I do not think that I have that advanced of hardware. This game is the best. I could not find a more fun online game to play. It only cost me $... bucks. Worth ever penny.
