A Great Expansion

This is a very good expansion to MOHAA. Though short, the single player levels are a ton of fun, and have great gameplay. Even on my fairly nice gaming systm (2 gigahertz Athlon processor, GeForce 4 Ti 4200, and other stuff.) it still ran sluggish sometimes. But there are video options on your computer that are the problem, not the game. I fixed it without a whole lot of trouble. The multiplayer is what really makes this a great game. I promise, anyone who even remotely likes the single player will love multiplayer. You can play for months and months and it won't get boring. The addition of many new weapons for the British and Russians have added many new options for playing. The new levels are excelent and you can use portable MG 42's. This expansion is definatly worth your money, and there are only a few downsides that gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Great Game!!!

Hey, I love the Medal of Honor games. I love the WWII & First Person Shooter game genre. This game adds new missions which (in Hard mode) are not that easy. I really like the new weapons you get plus the "Tug-Of-War" games. These TOW games are similar to the objective games in MOH:Allied Assault except there are multiple objectives for each side. The online TOW games are exciting!!! I hope they come out with new maps though since there are only 4 TOW maps right now. If you like Medal of Honor, and you want to extend its appeal then I highly recommend this game.
MOHAA - great fun, but small flaws

Medal of Honour : Allied Assault is undoubtedly a great game. Fast-paced and unnervingly realistic, I have only two complaints; how does Powell manage to carry around 200 kgs of stuff, and why is there no strategy-based attack (eg your buddies cover you and vice-versa)?
Despite these problems, medal of honour is most definitely worth buying.
best game ever

I am a big fan of Mohaa and this game gets a 5 stars because of how real the guns look and how the gun fire sounds so close to the real one. I have never seen a game that copyed the real look of a gun. The combat is even better if you like to play online alot like me then you get to play new maps and work with a bunch of other people to win. This game is one of the best single and online game i have ever seen and I love how you get more guns to use and how you get to pick from being USA to UK etc... SO is this game worth buying?? YES just buy the game and youll see what im talking about

I bought Spearhead purely for the new Multiplayer maps and weapons, and I was not disappointed. The single player is short, but mildly entertaining.
This game is a CPU hog (please read the system requirements carefully), it runs fairly smoothly and is a lot of fun. I would not buy this if your computer is near the minimum requirements, however.
There are some issues that need patching, but I can't remember a computer game that did not need tweaking of some sort. Recommended!
Good Gameplay, But Waaaayy Too Short!

This expansion pack is as fun and immersive as the stand-alone MOHAA, but you can easily finish it in about 3 hours (including breaks). The missions are very linear and fast-paced, letting you can whip through it in no time at all, leaving you a bit, if not a lot, unfullfilled at the end. When I was done I was a bit suprised - I actually said "is that all?" out loud. Frankly, for $$$, I expected a bit more depth and playing time. The time you do spend playing the game is very entertaining, but its like playing an arcade game - your quarter doesn't get you very far. Or in this case, your $$$. Bottom line, this expansion pack is $$$ worth of good, honest, entertaining gameplay, not a bloated $$$. I would wait for the price to come down. Oh yeah, I had one pretty significant installation bug which required a visit to EA's FAQ page to solve..
Nice, but WAY too short!

This expansion falls far short of the great game Medal of Honor. The missions are far too linear. The biggest gripe by far though is that there are only 9 new missions. That wouldn't be so bad, but these missions are extremely short compared to the originals in MoH. The graphics get a boost, but that doesn't make up for the glaring lack of content. I am extremely disappointed. What a let down! Save your cash and wait a couple months and pick this title up out of the bargin bin...
Poor attempt at single player, good multiplayer expansion

Let's face it, when enemies pop in front of you out of thin air and your Captain charges into a courtyard like an idiot with multiple angles of enemy fire from all around you, you're discust for the single player mode will get the best of you.
Gripe #1: There are certain "hotspots" in the game where if you cross a threshold, enemy soldiers just "pop" out of thin air. Granted this was in the original game, but at least they came from behind a building or something. In this game, if you go to the right spot, pop into view the soldiers do.... (sounds like a Dr. Seuss book doesn't it)
Gripe #2: Your "leaders" are just darn stupid. The 2nd mission illustrates this first - your Captain says "Follow me" runs right across a courtyard where enemy completely surrounds him. You the player, have to kill all the enemy before yourself AND your idiot Captain are killed. If this was an attempt to make the game more difficult, it worked. If it is supposed to be a reflection of reality forget it. No trained soldier would do something so idiotic, and if they did, you'd be glad they died.
Gripe #3: I just don't like "invisible walls" preventing me from getting places - in the 2nd level you can climb the railroad tracks to the very top, but you can't go on the railroad tracks. This would have been the most direct route to the train station, but the programmers decided to create an "invisible wall" that you can't go through. At least the original game these were designed as un-crossable barriers (mostly although there were some places in the towns that this happened).
On a positive note: The multiplayer mode is improved with new weapons (based on soldier chosen), new personnel to choose from, more realistic handling of weapons (the rocket launcher bobs when you move and they try to reflect the encumberance of the item), the ability to bash with most weapons (and frustratingly you can't with those that already have a use for the second mouse button), and no more of this "lean while moving" multiplayer tactic that makes players harder to hit.
If you haven't purchased an expansion pack, you may want to just skip this one and buy "Breakthrough". It appears to have all the multiplayer advantages (I've determined by playing the demo) that Spearhead offers over the original.
Great continuation

An excellent expansion pack with many more weapons to be used. For example Anti-Aircraft gun, mortars, machine guns, and smoke grenades.
The multiplayer aspect is much better than MOHAA. You can choose from many more soldiers especially the British and Russian soldiers as well as their authentic weaponry.
Just plain Awesome!!!

Medal of Honor - Allied Assault works fine on my computer, but Spearhead doesn't run. Some sort of OpenGL compatibility problem.
I have a Geforce 2 MX video card. Electronic Arts is no help at all in resolving this problem. If I could return the game, I would.
