VERY DISAPPOINTED

I have been a MOH player on PS one since it came out and have loved each of the games. Since I don't have the PS2 I got MOHAA for my PC. I have had nothing but problems since. I have spent at least 5-10 hours trying to troubleshoot the game to no avail. I have been dying to play this and have had nothing but grief. For those good reviews, I am sure the game is entertaining, but for those having the same problems, it has been a nightmare. I feel like one of those guys landing at Normandy who gets shot before he even gets out of the landing craft! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

A fun game to play, but this game has so many bugs that makes it almost impossible to play. It can bring down Win 2000 server with no problem. Do a search on the game's name and "crash" to see what I am talking about. I've played many games, but this one is the one with biggest number of problems that I have ever seen.

Writing as one who has been playing FPS games since the original Wolfenstein, I'll say this is the best game I've ever played. Of course the gameplay is terrific, with plenty of action and a tense, historically accurate plot line. The enemy AI is the best. The Germans see you, and duck behind a wall. Sometimes they stick just their rifles out and fire blindly at you! But what makes this game stand out is detail. I think the makers of this game spent 80% of their time adding the details-- the realistic touches that make this game so absorbing. The costumes are exact-- both for the Americans and the Germans. The weapons are perfect--right down to the serial # on the receiver of your rifle. The soldiers (of both sides) you run into all say different things. They don't repeat the same five phrases over and over again. The breeze blowing through the bushes sounds so real as it moves from left to right you'll want to pull your sweater a little tighter. Shutters flap in the wind. Fights of thunderous P-51's occasionally fly over. Watch out, they may bomb the target you're after whether you like it or not. I could go on and on.
You'll need a beefy system to run this game properly. You'll really benefit from a quality sound card and surround system as there must be over a thousand different sound effects. Downside: Sometimes I wish they had imbued your fellow soldiers with as much AI as the Germans, because most of the time they end up getting killed.
Buy this game. It is a keeper, worth playing three or four times at least. I downloaded the demo and played it half a dozen times before the full game arrived.
You'll love it.

When I first reviewed this game, I based everying on the multiplayer demo. I had a shakey experience but that wasn't the game's fault, it was the server I was connected to.

I just downloaded the singer player demo and I am impressed. Very rich war like experience and the graphics are amazing. I am a big Quake 3 and recent Return to Castle Wolfenstein fan. This game is more along the lines of PG-13 which is just fine. This game is designed to be a war like experience. A huge improvement over the previous installments on Playstation.

Great job EA!

I never played the single mode. Involved in the multiplayer mode all the time. I would be playing for hours and hours at a time. I lost my life. But it was worth it. Rarely ran into a multiplayer hacker. AMAZING GAME

Excellent, true, shootem up game. I wish that the expansion packs were just as fast as the real game though. Spearhead addition is a little slow. Probably because of my computer though. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes a little history with real life shooting.

This is a Great Game. The graphics and gameplay are good, too. The only drawback is that there isn't a lot of missions.
