Medal of honor is a blood pumping, eye popping action shooter on the WW2 front. There are plenty of missions, and a good suply of WW2 weopons. You'll find guns like the Springfield sniper rifle, the BAR gun (browning atomatic rifle) the Tompson SMG, the Colt .45 and much more. The game play is great, and you'll never get tiered of playing the game. This is a great WW2 game.

Very task oriented game, graphics are a little grainy and stiff.Overall I like it almost as much as COD.

This game is a die-hard classic WW2 FPS shooter. The most fun I have ever had on the PC is with this game. The most fun YOU'LL have with this game is playing multiplayer online. The game play is smooth and easy for all level of graphic cards. If you have an awsome video card, this game allows you to go maximum on the graphics pretty easily. If you have a slow video card, you can still have great fun because the game was designed gameplay more-so than graphics. The sound are great, yuo can hear footsteps close to you, and realistic gunfire sound. If you have a fast internet connection, go online a frag the heck outta people. If you have a slow connection you will not have a s much fun online, but you can still have a blast in single player. All in all a great game!

I have this game. BAD graphics if you have a G-force video card. And you might wanna have DSL or cable for good online play.

Great - must have for WW2 gamers

If you like "Call of Duty" from the historical point of view and like first person shooters, you have to get this. It doesn't have quite the graphics effects of COD - because it was an earlier game - but it isn't bad at all. Movement is slightly different but plays about the same. Has realistic feel except for 1 level which I thought was too much a fantasy level. Best part, if you get stuck somewhere there is a lot of walkthrough info on the internet and there are game "cheats" that are pretty easy to find and use if you get stuck.

If you really liked WW2 in general and like COD, get this game. The Omaha Beach scenes makes the game worth buying. Don't be fooled by some reviews that only boast about how much better COD is. I have played both and enjoyed them equally.

PS ... again, you hear negative stuff about the MEDAL of HONOR games because SOMEONE likes the COD series "better" - but the MEDAL games have some awesome levels - and yes they ALL have some things that could be done better. Don't forget the MOH - Pacific Assault game. It is a little newer and worth your time if you liked Allied Assalut - but overall not as much fun to me.

Great game. Had several problems with installation. Still have some problems with game features that I am trying to work out, but there are workarounds. Help is in the EA game upgrades, but I can't install them because they will not recognize my installation.
All in all a very good game. Great graphics, great situations with varying outcomes depending on player choices.

Great Fun(Action)For you WWII Movie(J.Wayne,etc.)fans.As if you were a part of the Real Thing.Right in the heat of battle,Protect your buddies as well as yourself. The enemy's no pushover,so you'd better THINK before you make your move.My only regret-Can't call in a massive Air Strike. This game can be expanded in so many ways,I hope the Developers check all options.

Wow, wow, wow, this is a awsome game!

I do not know how to start off with this. This is truly the best game that I have ever played! Anyone who is interested in World War II and likes first person shooters, this is the game for you! This epic game alows you to hop into the boots of Lt. Mike Powell of the 2nd Rangers Bn. and carry out a good variety of epic missions. You will travel to the deserts of Arzew, the beaches of Normandy, and the town of St. Lo. One thing I have to tell you about this though is that Medal of Honor Allied Assault's (MOHAA for short) gameplay is no cake-walk if you are one of those people who refuse to use cheat codes. Alough for new players cheat codes are probably a good way to start off with this game just so you can get to know it. Once you have beat it with codes then move on to Multiplayer. In multiplayer (which requires a good internet setup and the Gamespy Arcade) lets you play with thousands of other gamers from around the world. Multiplayer is truly one of the best parts of the game. *WARNING* on your first day of playing MOHAA do no try multiplayer! Most of the people who play MOHAA online know the game well and are quiet good. Get to know the stratigies of the game first. So over all Medal of Honor Allied assault is a great game with good music, a exellant engine, very good graphics, and alought of cool guns maps, enemys, vivid AI (Artificial Intellegence of the enemys) and lost of cool sound effects. For anyone who enjoys stuff like this please do your self a favor and buy this game! Hope you like this as much as I do! Good luck!

Not bad, I'm pretty pleased

First thing, ea sports has impressed me once again (esp over microsoft) The game is overall a great game, it has impressive graphics, I nice range of missions and weapons, although it is predictably a fps ie shoot everyone in sight. Some missions, however, do require a degree of stealth so in that regard the game is well rounded. My machine is an AMD XP 2200 266fsb 768mb pc2100 ram and 64mb geforce4 4200 video so pretty high end so machines with slower capabilities may start noticing problems. My machine however ran the game with full graphics capabilities enabled, without a single glitch. The only item which brings the game down from a 5 is the enemy AI. In many cases it is very obvious what triggers "waves" of attacks in the game, ie threshhold triggers. If you cross a certain point in a road enemies will attack, but not if u r a foot shy and making all the racket u can. Another example, as mentioned in another review was the floods of enemies when alarms are triggered. Before I knew that the alarms had to be disarmed I went threw a level without worryin about the alarms. I must have killed hundreds of germans, all of them of course managing to hide in two measly houses. So it wasn't very realistic. However, overall it was a fantastic game, providing many hours of challenging entertainment. Good job ea sports.

I have never played the MOH series before so I was brand new to the scene when I picked up MOH: Allied Assault last week. I was very impressed. Medal of Honor is a very well made game and is a lot of fun to play. Here is a quick rundown of my opinions on the game:

Graphics: The graphics are very good, but I have seen better. (Namely, Return to Castle Wolfenstein) The game somtimes can get very dark in some areas and you have to adjust the brightness level accordingly.

Gameplay: The gameplay is great. A great weapons system and the gameplay is easy to pick up on quickly.

Storyline: The storyline for the game is awesome as it is modeled after real events of WWII. Right down to storming the beaches of Normandy (which by far is the hardest damn part in the game)

Overall: Overall, I think the game is great. It has a few flaws, such as a couple graphic glitches but nothing that can't be overlooked. One of the things I liked best about this game is that it has a lot of variety in the types of things you have to do. Not just shoot the bad guy. You have to steal battle plans, plant explosives, disable vehicles and so on. Very cool.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. MOH is a great game but it just can't hold up to the level that RTCW is at. I would say that this is the second best FPS I have ever played. RTCW being the best. Both games are great and if you're a fan of FPS or WWII games, either one is a safe bet.
