Looks pretty good

My only complaint about this is if it focuses on realism....then where's the blood? Even a little is OK. I guess they wanted a teen rating-which I think is stupid because you're still shooting people, period. Hopefully they will see this fallacy and create a patch, actually they've could've made an option to turn off the blood instead of completely getting rid of it. I also heard the flame thrower is non-existent in this game-another fallacy. Other than these two problems everything else looks like it's being utilized. The graphics are sharp (Quake III engine)-from what I've seen, and the environment looks really like scenes from saving private ryan. There's also a multiplayer option-which I have yet to see, and there are vehicles you can use-tanks, jeeps, etc. If you're into WWII games like this and aren't anal about realism then Return to castle wolfenstien might be for you. As for me I like compromise, so I'll probably getting both games.

This is a great game but it rarely would load without performing an "illegal operation" each time it did that i would have to shut my computer down. Otherwise when it did it was a terrific game the graphics were good weapon choice was good overall i would rate this game a 5 out of 5 but it kept performing that "illegal operation" Only get this game if u have a good pc

I have to admit: I had been expecting something else. This isn't quite like Saving Private Ryan, where if your shoot and enemy blood gushes and sprays, instead of little puffs shooting from where you shot him, this isn't exactly a war simulation. Aww, no it ain't. It's still a great game though. The enemy AI can be very cheap and artificial, the graphics are great 100% of the time (except one thing, Where's the blood!???) and the gameplay is some of the most creative i've played for a while.

Happy camping.

This game allows you to relive one of the worst days in history: D-Day. Unlike most war games, this has great graphics and has amazing realism. This game is a must have for anyone who has watched "Saving Private Ryan". If you still need a way to release anger or hatred towards a nazi, then I strongly urge you to get this game. This game is going to change the world of gaming for ever (in a good way).

This will the best game of 2002 hands down. It has a mix of realism with arcade style, a perfect combination for a game of the year!

I'm a big buff on War tactical games that put you in the dirty boots of a battle hardened soldier whose wits are tested on a second to millisecond basis. Enemy AI should never be leniate on any occasion whatsoever, it's never a game if the challenge is low. Medal of Honor Allied Assault is a perfect example of everything a game should be. You are a soldier in the middle of WWII, you are one of the thousands of courageous soldiers who put their lives on the line willingly to save the Allied Forces from the corruption of the Nazi in 1945. You will go into the heart of the battle and storm the deadly and infamous beaches of Normandy after arrival by the cargo boats with fellow soldiers who are so realistic you may see true Courage on one face, Scared emotions on the other, or true anger. When you or if you make it to the beach, you will dodge bullets and take cover, if you look up, you will notice bomber planes dropping bombs on the bunkers. Look at the water and you will see a group of soldiers firing back at enemies, look over again and you may see bodies floating on the water. Run with a comrade and see his presence, look over again and see him cut to pieces by machine gun fire, folks, it's that realistic, no b.s. whatsoever, if you like FPS's that are real and let you shine at being a virtual soldier in one of the most trying times of the War 'o 44, this is an awesome game that also lets you experience the horror of war, but instict fights your feelings and may prevail in you being courageous and go into a gunfight with a knife, buy this game now and may I reccomend Halo and GTA3. Buy it now.

I consider this a ...mistake. It won't run on my machine. Look carefully at the system requirements. Look carefully at the video card chipsets REQUIRED. One of the fixes EA suggests is to close all the programs (win98) running in the background. This is a major pain to do every time you want to load the game.

System: Dell P4, 1.4Ghz, 256MB, GeForce32MB Video.
Experience/Recent Plays: Half-Life, QuakeI/II/II, DeltaForceLandWarrior, Max Payne, Soldier of Fortune, Rainbow Six Series, MOH(current).
I had read some reviews of this game and I purchased it based on the reviews. I'm not through it all yet. Here's my bottom line likes and dislikes.
Likes: Sound is spectacular. It's one of the best around from the FPS I've played. It very well could be the best. Graphics and visuals are incredible. Facial expressions are very good. Somewhat blocky faces up close but less than others I've played. Gameplay is outstanding. Missions are well thought out and quite varied. You won't get bored with this one quickly. Controls are perfect! They are the best layed-out controls right out of the box of any FPS I've played. Just right. Now...
Dislikes: Too scripted is right. I hate not being able to do other things in these types of games. You can't even blow apart a box if you like. Just what you're supposed to shoot. Heck, for fun, I even enjoy shooting my comrades when I'm bored but you know what? You cannot do that in this game. Not one bit. I hate that type of control over my actions in a game. That is enough to take away one star for sure, at least for me. I like freedom. For comparison(though not WWII), I really enjoyed Soldier of Fortune, though, yes, I know the visuals are about 90% of MOH, SOF is outstanding. DF Land Warrior is another I can recommend heartily for fun and outstanding Multiplayer! One other thing I don't like about this game, so far, is the lack of even a smattering of blood. I think Spieldber should have at least had a blood-off option as part of the game. Overall, worth the purchase as long as you understand these slight quirks which are enough for me to deduct one star.
