A well-made first-person game containing many excellent and pretty tough levels. The last level was reminiscent of the Max Payne game and those who've played it will know why. The game was buggy at times but the patches should alleviate some of the problems. Several points in the game captures the atmosphere of participating in "Saving Private Ryan" or "Band of Brothers". Personally, I found firing the machine gun-mounted jeep and and tank sequences pretty difficult (not the levels, controlling the vehicles), because of the constant movement.

This single player for this game is absolutely stunning. Just as an example, take the graphics and the sound from Omaha beach. The machinegun fire actually sounds like it is hitting the obstacles, sand, or hitting a iron obstacle and falling into the water. The emotions of the Americans are portrayed exactly by voice acting and facial expressions. HOWEVER, the multiplayer for this game is boring and not innovative at all. After you beat single player, this game is worthless. RTCW has a much better multiplayer, and I recommend it over this title because RTCW had better multiplayer graphics, and its just more fun and lasts longer.
Great Game!

Great game. Nice graphics. Realism is awesome. The only downside i found was the game was easy to play. There wasnt alot of big challanges. I guess i was expecting to much after playing Castle Wolfenstein. I would recommend big gamers to start out with medium or even hard level. Worth the money though.
Best First Person Shooter EVER!!

Personally, when I first considered buying this game, I was kind of skeptical on the gameplay, graphics, and ememy AI, because I thought it would be like all of the other WWII simulators, but I was COMPLETELY wrong. This game has to be the best FPS of all time!! The graphics are outstanding, the gameplay is the best I have ever played, and the enemy AI is extremely good. The Omaha Beach mission is the best mission on the game. It makes you feel like you are actually there!! I would recommend that you should have at least a 700Mhz computer and 32MB of video memory to run this game smooth. Also, make sure you have 256+ of RAM memory, And make sure you have a bunch of hard drive space because this game needs it. I would say...BUY THIS GAME!!!
don't waste your money

This game is to hard in spot's. You just get killed right away. What fun is that? Also there's flaws in the graphics. I have a dell 1600 mgh with a 124 game card and it still won't play right. Stick with return to castle wolfenstein. That's a five star game. I also have the expansion pack it's as bad as the first one.
My computer is too old!

I really like this game. Great gameplay, beautiful sound, and super graphics. But that right there is the problem. I don't have a graphics card! If I do, then it is a really old one that only supports really old games. I keep on telling my mom to get a new one, but we never do. So buy this game, but make sure you have a graphics card!

I like this game.My Older brother has bought this game, one day he let me play it I thought it would be boring it turned out to be one of the best games I have ever played. I hope they never stop making Medal of Honor games. I have bought the expansion pack for it. I have ideas for world war 2 games,I hope to make a living making video games.

I have been playing the demo and I love it, i finally accomplished my mission after being killed at least 50 times, was fun to blow up those rocket launchers....I dont plan on playing this online as I already have Counterstrike, if they cheat in that game I can imagine what they will do in this game. no thanks....dont like cheats...I see there are several chapters in this series, i.e Spearhead, Frontline.....they all look good, i will probably buy this as im a big fan of WWII battles.... highly recommended game if you are into to war games.....

Let me tell you the truth people about this game. Some believe this is the best of all FPS game ever but its completely wrong. A lot of us who got this game are Delta Force players and a lot of us complain it have stupid AI from DF1 to DF4, but the fact is, that Medal of Honor have actually nothing more to offer.
Let me introduce you the AI of this game, you shoot a soldier in in very close to another and what happen - well actually nothing, because the other one simple didn't hear it. Maybe those fighting happen in AMsterdam where all of the soldiers wuz simple high? I dont know. But what I mostly hate is that this game im comparision to DF have simple VERY strict way of plain - you can't just from Window you can't go anywhere except the areas where your mission should be done. And yeah looks like people from EA have forgot that a human can't simple accomodate 8 - 15 bullets - in Operation Flashpoint you can be simple shot by just ONE shot - like in REAL LIFE.
... You are at the airfield mission and have to shoot everything but you occasionally hit your jeep - no problem you not only got a factory of bullets with you, you also have bullet proof jeep. hat a shame.
The good part is the graphic and the sound - it is very good and very funny sometimes - of course if you understand german.
In all total this game is worser then Delta Force - any of them - and by VERY VERY far worser then Operation Flashpoint which I would HIGHLY recommend to all FPS gamers.
You'll enjoy it.. but make sure your system is up to it!!

Gameplay is very good, as you can gather from majority of reviews. Imagery and detail are stunning- if you are a WWII historian/buff AND a gamer...you've gone to heaven. Aside from all the obligatory gushing and kudos, what every potential buyer better be aware of is system demands. The requirements are high; I'm running an Athlon 1.2 with 256 MB, 32 MB onboard video and i was locking up constantly, even with all settings at min and background programs shut down. I used the experience as convenient excuse to upgrade- put in nVidia GeForce3 Ti200 64MB and "voila", things smoothed out. There's problems EA must be aware of, (see the 'safe' mode for crashes). I've never had problems running games (OP Flashpoint, RTCW, etc)and this game was a nightmare without the juiced up card (MY experience, now)....SO, if your system is up to the task, purchase and enjoy!!
