If you want a good fighting game, look no further

When I was 10 or 11 , I played Marvel vs Capcom 2 and I was hooked. So when I saw an ad on a magizine and I begged mother to buy it for Christmas. When I woke up that morning I found the game. So I plugged it in and I thought " This is the best fighting game ever "! Yes, my friends this a classic. The only down side is that this game can get repetitive, but other than that it is a classic fighting game.

Crappy port for a legendary game.

The game on the Dreamcast was pristine. By comparison to the arcade version, it was almost 100% identical. The PS2 version, doesn't do it justice in the least. There's laggy inputs, sound problems, sprite problems, hit detection problems, random freezing, and several other aspects that make this version virtually impossible to play in a competitive environment. It can still be used as a learning tool for the arcade and Dreamcast versions.

Better than the first

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is 110% better than the PS one orginal. This game has more characters and better graphics. It has many well known characters on both sides(Marvel: Captain America, Wolverine, Iron Man, Spider-Man; Capcom: Ryu, Strider, Zangief and Jill from Resident Evil) plus many characters to unlock. It will keep ya playing for a long time. The last character will also keep you busy for awhile

Excellent except for one thing

It was an awsome Christmas present. Until I put it in my PS2. It would take two or three times for it to start playing the game. I think its because its a blue disk though.

Not the best, but pretty damn close to being the best.

This game is an excellent way to kill an afternoon... or lose a lotta sleep, trying to get enough points to unlock all the characters and all the other features.
This game is definatly worth forkin' over the money to purchase. The only down side is the music. In a few places, it sounds good, like in the High Score section, but that's just my opinion. However, there are cases when the music will slowly rot away at your soul...
As punishment to my friends, I refrain from picking characters so that by the beginning of the match, they can still hear "Let Me Take You For A Ride" pounding on their ear drums.

But other than the music, get this. Your PS2 will love you for it.

This Game has bug!!

The background music of the game put me into sleep. The background music doesn't fit this game (I don't know why capcom company used Jazz as background music for a fighting game). Furthermore, the game really disappointed me because it has bug!! For example, The fatal defect is that Chun-Li can't perform "lighting kick" in training mode and some stage. Even though I am a fan of this game serie, I only gave this game 3 out of 5.

Thank you Capcom

Well there is very little to say about this game but thank you for blessing the PS2 with the best 2d fighting game ever made and if your reading this this than this game as 56 playable charcters which can be customized to fit your 3 vs 3 fighting needs so if your looking for a good game try this masterpiece of a game (so I lied about being able to say so little about it).

Great game!

I have played this game on the arcade before, and its mind-blowing how fun it is. All the characters from X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Superheroes, Marvel VS. Capcom, and others are in this game! And those who were disappointed that Morrigan was the only DS character in the original game will be happy to know that Felicia, B.B. Hood, and Anakaris have come into the game as well! Not to mention Thanos and Dr.Doom that you could only fight against in Marvel Superheroes. A must-have game!

Excelence in Disk Manifestation

This gameis pure excelence for a person like me, although this game may not be fun for those who value series like Tekken and MK. The game is very chaotic but has amazing replay value and wayyyy to many charecters (YAY SERVERBOT!) If you like street fighter buy it now!

Great game

Excellent fighting port from Dreamcast. If you have Xbox live, don't buy it on PS2. Get it on Xbox so you can play online. Other than that, great game. Have fun.
