Every time I go to the arcade in my mall, i play that ALL THE TIME! POSSIBLY THE BEST PS2 GAME EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO MANY CHARACTERS AND SWITCHING AND.. Personally I think this game isn't as good as it could be, I'd suggest buying Mortal Kombat instead really.

it was one of the best arcade games. A lot of people bought the dreamcast only for that game and it's coming out for ps2 and it's going to be hit right away.

Over all it's a good game, but you may find yourself getting frustrated. The game has it's flaws with control, most of the time I wanted to do one of the special moves that include your other team members and it just didn't do it so I ended up just getting the crap kicked out of me. It's good to play with other people, but I guess all together it's no worth it, just wait til the price goes down.

I remember before I actually bought this game, I had only played it a couple of times at a movie theater. When I got the PS2 version about a month ago or whatever, I was really excited. I popped it in, loaded it up, I tried to find Mega Man, ... 24 characters huh? Looks like 24 to me! I [felt disconcerted]. Then, after a while, I discovered an option called "Secret Factor". And I saw Mega Man in thar, and went "Huh? He's a HIDDEN character. Funny, because I could've sworn he was ready to access in the arcade version. So I had to beat the game, get some points, and I bought Mega Man. I was happy for the moment. Then I was able to get Captain Commando and M. Bison and Cammy. So I played some more, got some more points, I went to try and find Felicia and Morrigan, and they don't show up. I play t some more an hour later.... They still aren't there. Another 5 hours later.... Yawn... I'm going to bed. On a final note:This game {isn't necessarily the best} Why settle for this game when you can just play DarkStalkers or Power Stone??? Anyone that says this game rocks [could be mistaken].The original is a little better and more fun than this [one]. Please do me a favor people, and [reconsider if you should so desire]

for a ps2 game this game is awful. the graphics are really cheesy, as is the music and how the game works. don't waste your money.

Sorry. I just don't get it. I bought this game thinking I was going to get a really cool fighting game where I could put the Hulk up against Spiderman, etc. What I got was a complete waste of time and a really, truly, and horribly rendered piece of garbage. What a crock! I hate this game and I want my money back. It has the worst music and graphics... I think you need to be on crack to enjoy this pathetic waste.

I wanted to get a fighting game that I could enjoy with my 5 year old daughter. (Don't laugh, I took her to see KISS on her second birthday!). Anyway, I thought it would be just like the arcade game at the mall, which it is, except for one thing. If your favorite characters are Iron Man, Storm, or a number of others, prepaer to be disappointed. Instead of our heros, you get question marks. That's right folks, just like Mortal Kombat Alliance, some really cool charachters are locked. Now I have to scour the internet to look for cheats and codes so we can play our favorite characters. Personally I think a game like this should just be a good old fashioned 2D fight game. If you want secrets, fatalities, Noob Saboot stuff, stick with Mortal Kombat. I wanted a fighting superhero game with enough cartoon violence to keep the family entertained on rainy days.

The graphics for this game look extremely dated. There are so many games where the graphics are incredible, and this one looks much more amateurish. Forget the music, it's lame, but I don't pay much attention to that. Well, until I figure out how to play Iron Man or Juggernaut, I'll just keep trying with what's available.

YES, THIS GAME IS THE BEST EVER MADE. I BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS GAME FOR EVER AND A YEAR AND I FINALLY FOUND IT AT A GAME STOP IN A MALL. IT WAS USED AND I HAD TO PAY $60.00 FOR IT. I GOT IT FOR CHEAPER THAN WHAT I WAS PLANNING ON SPENDING BY BUYING IT HERE AT AMAZON. THE CHEPAER ONE I FOUND HERE WAS $80.00 AND I GOT IT $20.00 BUCKS CHEAPER. I SAVED EVEN MORE BECAUSE THE GAME TOTAL WAS $53.99. NOW I KNOW I WILL PLAY THIS GAME FOR EVER AND I WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID 3 YEARS AGO, AND THAT IS TRADE IT IN FOR STORE CREDIT. IF YOU CAN BUY YOURESELF A COPY OF THIS GAME BECAUSE IT WILL SOON BECOME EXTINCT AND VERY VERY HARD TO GET A HOLD OF.
