THIS GAME WAS FUN AT FIRST, BUT NOW 2005 I CANNOT STAND IT NOW!!!!!! I RECCOMEND KINGDOM HEARTS: FINAL MIX BECAUSE ITS GOT A BRITNEY IDOL CHARACTER IN INNIT. THAT WOULD BE THE LOVELY NAINME SPEARS WHO MALES WILL GO CRAZY FOR, BUT THRE SAD THINGIS SHE IS TAKEN. THE ORIGINAL KINGDOM HEARTS FEELS EMPTY AND I AVA PLAYED IT SO MUCH AND NEVER COMPLETED IT. THIS IS COS I WANNA PLAY KINGDOM HEARTS 2 INNIT. BUT I WILL PROBOLY ONLY RECCOMENED THE KINGDOM HEARTS 2: FINAL COUNTDOWN COS IT'LL HAVE NAINME INNIT. THE CAMERA SUCKS THOUGH AND ITS SO 2002!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is, by far, one of my most favorite games! The graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is unbelievable, the music is beautiful and the plot is totally original. This game is practically incomparable to any other game!!! If I could give this game ten stars, I'd give it twelve!!

I am a huge pan of Final Fantasy Games, and Disney's pretty cool, so I was excited when I first heard of this game... I got it right away when it came out. I played it and it was great... for a little while. Then certain things became apparent. Though the storyline seemed as though it'd be fairly complex and interesting, it turns out that it was anything but. The storyline more or less died out after a few hours of gameplay, and became confusing and nonsensical. The gameplay was intriguing at first - especially since it's expected to be an RPG, but yet the fights are realtime button mashers. That got really old quickly too, mashing buttons can be fun for only so long... That, and add in the lamest ever flying sequences - the spaceships are hard to accurately control, and it is near impossible to get shot down between worlds. Add all of that up, and you're stuck with a game that is painful to play through, and I managed to do it all the way through the end despite the fact that it's a definite subpar game. The only thing that kept me playing was being able to see new Disney and Final Fantasy characters make cameos, that's all that this game is really worth. Do yourself a favor, and spend ...on Final Fantsy X, or Xenosaga, or some other RPG worth the time and money.

I recieved this game for Christmas, and started playing instantly. I'm not much of a Disney fan, and I have only favored a few Disney movies. Here's my review of Kingdom Hearts, which, on Amazon's Most-Bought list, is the second most bought game for PS2 last time I checked.

Graphics- Intense. Designers and Artists did an excellent job putting famous Disney characters in a 3D world. I'm still trying to figure out if there's a GBA version of this game, put GBA grpahics can't compare to PS2 in my book.

Sound/Music- I'm hooked on Simple and Clean. I NEED a KH soundtrack (if there is one) The voices aren't what I expected, Kairi and Riku's is fine, but Sora's voice sounds like a young child (no offense to people who like it ^^;)

Gameplay/Storyline- Messed up. During the storm, I didn't know what I was suppose to do! On CoS for PS2, it let's you know what tasks you have. But the storyline is okay for Sora as he leaves his island.

Originality- Ehhhh...it's half and half. One because of the Keyblade, what other games can you use a Keyblade in? Probably some. But minus one for using FF characters! Shame on you, Squaresoft!

Overall, it's a good game. Not horrible, not perfect. My advice is just rent it first, you may not like it.

hOW CAN ANYONE PLAY THIS GAME. iT IS SO SUCKY.The main charchter has a key for a weapon, a key!!!!!!! Mickey mouse is the ruler of a kingdom. I mean mickey!!!!! His voice is freakin high. He needs to go through puberty. This game is booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. It is waaaay to lovey dovey. This game is for girls. Dont buy this game. buy spinhx and charish it. You will probably end up destroing this game within 1 hour. dont waste money on this game.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy squaresoft is on a role. They have been dishin out some sh*tty a*s games lately but this has to be the biggest piece of sh*t squaresoft has dispensed out of their behind. So lets take a look at the title first...A little fruity I know. Ok ok lets take it from the basics. I bought the game a year after it came out....Due to the huge hype about. You know all these little nerds sayin "Man Kingdom Hearts is awesome!!" or "Man I couldn't take a crap without Kingdom Hearts". Personally I dispiesed the game but you know what peer pressure does to you. Living here in Japan squaresoft was hailed as the greatest RPG maker ever which I can understand i.e. Mystic Quest (Personal Fav) Nevertheless with a name like Kingdom Hearts...Makes you question the game. Know in this day in age when to people use the word kingdom? I've never even heard the word empire used unless people were punning at the united states government. Anyways Kingdom makes you think of faries and nonsense...hence disney and their perverted godness. Hearts makes you think of a smelly old love story..Or a great classic card game!! So if the name doesnt drive you away lets see what does.

Upon further dissection the game is simply compiled of a gay character who looks like a cheaply made version of all the Final Fantasy characters. Now for a lot of you readers maybe I should have told you this before but if you don't like Final Fantasy you might...I mean you won't like this game at all. The truth of the matter is, that this game is a fantasy of its own. A bunch of fantasy looking characters hanging out with the queers of Disney. How fun!! So the theme of the game is to search for your gay lover....Actually I never took the time to understand the point of the game though I believe it had to do with searching. Nevertheless the gay characters will pretty much make you want to go and buy Soul Reaver its that bad!! Squaresoft has outdone itself this time. Teaming up with disney must have been a sign of Squaresoft reaching rock bottom. Their time on deathrow was almost up but with Disney on their back nothing is to fear. So they made up some lame queerish characters and made a bad story and whipped it all together...hence "Kindom Hearts" How sad. When I remembered great classical games they took time and dedication...This game took a whole bunch of as*holes and just glued them together. The game is retarded as hell and I know for a fact that a 5 year old could throw up a better game then this.

For your own saftey I would stay away from this game. Its cheap graphics, gameplay, music, characters....there are just so many aspects of this game that suck its so hard for me to tell you. But seriously if your that bored to buy this game sure do it. But you'll have 50X more fun buy breaking it with a hammer:)

Now, before you say anything, I have played this game and beaten it in the week provided by blockbuster(grudgingly playing it though)and now for the unbaiased opinion. I think that this game is so completely stupid. It and the sequel are retarded but again its my opinion.

Squaresoft is known for its great RPGS, and Disney has long been known for making movies out of books where the author has long been dead. It's very hard for them to think of something on their own (Finding Nemo and Mickey Mouse where basically their only real ideas.) If you put the two companies together you get a game with a horrible plot, hardly any character background, a battle system that would be good if it didn't take so long to attack with anything besides your "keyblade", and graphics that, coming from Squaresoft after FFX, make you puke. Perhaps I should explain in detail why I think this way. The whole plot is basically "Darkness is evil, let us kill it" and the enemy never changes, the only reason the way-too-annoying main character goes with it is to save a girl named Kari, whom even looks like the Kari from a certain kiddish anime. All the characters adapted from the FF games have a small part and don't act anything like they did in their original games, and all the Disney characters are warped to start with since Disney has an obsession with changing the characters from the old books/and or movies it steals.

Overall, If you like games that make you use your brain then this isn't for you, all you'll come to realize from the "Darkness is evil" plot is that this game influences bliss, and since ignorance IS bliss..

Worst Game Ever

Although together it was a good idea, Disney and Square make one of the worst combinations. With repeating gamplay the game gets boring real quick, not to mention the story plot was obviously designed for 8 year olds. If you like Disney games and boring gameplay this is the game for you, But if you like square and are looking for a good game stay away.
