THIS GAME IS DA BOMB!!!! It's kinda hard, but not much when you have code breaker!!! So i suggest that before buying this game, get the code breaker. It will help you. For those who don't wnat to cheat, fine, have it your way. THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the best platformers out there. The gameplay keeps up with the nonstop action. The controls are good. The graphics and sound is even better. Naughty Dog got some good voice acting on this one. You should definitely get this game!

When I bought my PS2, it came with two games, and one of them was Jak and Daxter:The Precursor Legacy. I wasn't a big fan of action and fighting games @ the time, but I tried it one day and loved it! So when Jak 2 came out, I was eager to purchase it. This continuation lives up to the first, and is packed with even more challenging missions and a darker plot. Although, I found that some of the missions and tasks required the help of my dad, probably b/c im not an expert @ video games just yet. But I recommend this game to kids and adults 12 & up. It's challenging and will keep you playing for hours on end. One of the best games I've played yet!

This is one of the most incredible games I have ever played. The world is seamless, the graphics are visually stunning. And don't get me started on the story -- it's begging to be made into a feature length animated movie (it's that good!). The voice acting is incredible, and the game play is superb. I will be getting this for everyone on my Christmas list (whether they have a PlayStation or not!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS -- it really has raised the bar for platform gaming.

Let's make it simple, this is a great game. This game is much different than Jak and Daxter. It is much darker, yet much cooler. The game provides hours of gameplay, a great arsenal of weapons, and Dark Jak is able to learn new moves. This game is much harder than Jak and Daxter. Instead of three or four enimies coming after you at a time just about a whole army comes after you. There are many parts of this game that are frusterating, but you are usually able to complete the missions. I'm going to leave at that. In my opinion, this is a must have for all gamers.

In 2001 many gamers worshiped the smash hit game Jak and Daxter the precursor leagcy now two years later naughty Dog has returned with Jak2. the game follows jak and his furry compartriot Daxter who are accidently warped into a futureistic metroplis known as Haven city where jak is pumped with Dark eco but is freed by Daxter now jak is on a journy to return home. there are some major improvments in this installment including the inclinson of weaponry Dark eco powers and vechile jacking along with a tricked out hoverborad.the game plays much like a GTA game as you roam around town completeing diverse missons such as racing through town to a spfeic location or picking up a group of freedom fighters thats not all the game also offers many side missons too which help you earn precursor orbs.While jak2 is a vast improvment from its predecessor there were some cons as well for example some of the checkpoints are pretty harsh and krimzon gurad chases can be pretty tedious other than that Jak2 is a work of pure art which should not be missed.

i love this game. its one of the best platform games i have ever played. you get to explore, investigate and fight for a huge new city called have city. you get four diffrent guns, a hover-board, dark eco powers, a mech suit and countless vehicles. go through over 60 unique missions in awsome locations and areas. you fight an evil phsycho path communist called baron praxess who trys to kill you countless times. you have to fight his huge army called the krimzon guards who ware full body armor and carry huge blaster rifles and grenade luanchers. you can run around the city and piss off the kgs and go into a grand theft auto like scenerio. there are a bunch of diffrent locations including the palace, the sewers, the strip mine,the dead town and much more.you also fight your original enemies the metal heads who are at war with jaks new home world of haven city. the game includes awsome graphics and an addictive game play and storyline. the weather can change from day to night, sunny or rainy and cloudy or foggy. get a wide feild of technology and weapons. the game gets very random and unpredictable as the missions and jobs very from blowing up enemy bases, retreving items and artifacts from certian locations, racing the clock to reach certian places or competing in the cities racing circuit, arial combat, fighting bosses and escorting ships. there is plenty of comedy and luaghs mixed in to the intense and violent nature of the game. there is no blood or gore.(to bad for you loosers with xbox and those stupid 1st person shooters).this game is based around your new future city, the ancient civilization of the prcursors and the star trek like enviroment. over all i think this is one of the best games of all time and the developers at nuaghty dog are real heroes. even though its for the crappy ps2 wich a worthless but fun system this game is still an awsome game and is a must have.

Abandoning it's somewhat cheerier atmosphere from the first Jak and Daxter,Jak 2 takes a totally different route,storyline and gameplay wise. A welcome change indeed from the predictablility of the first game.
A mix of Vice City meets Crash,Jak 2 takes place in the future,where Jak and his pal Daxter are sent 200 years into the future from a precursor rift found at the end of the first game. The future is very bleak and Jak is thrown in prison. Daxter rescues a changed Jak 2 years later and together they work to overthrow Baron Praxis,ruler of Haven City,who tormented Jak with Dark Eco. Jak also makes some new friends along the way as well.
The game itself is very detailed,but the city is at times very confusing to navigate through,despite the little map. Other than that,everything else is really good. The cinemas are clever and the ones featuring Daxter and Pecker(a monkey/parrot hybrid with a Mexican accent) are awesome!
Another worthy title to add to your PS2 gaming library.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. It is much more challenging than the first one. also it is much more fun than the first one. You get to jack vehicles, you get four guns each helps you in different place in the game, you also get a really cool hoverboard which you can do tricks on, the music is also very good it dosent get annoying like most games do, the graphics are awesome. Overall this is a really good game. I cant wait untill the 3rd one comes out.

i rented this game and i loved it. i am gonna need to rent it again if i plan to beet it. my parents got me the first, jak and daxter: the precurser legacy, played and beet realy fast to fast of a game, but i kind of enjoyed it. if u didnt like the first because of its childish theme, take a go at this because its way better, for one jak talks finally, two you have new dark jak powers, three you can steel hovercrafts (cars), four a cool gun with three upgrades, five you get a cool hoverboard that you can do tricks on, six you get a titan suit with mass power, if you are still thinking about buying it then i didnt do what i wanted and if you decide not to get it then well thats just to bad for you because it is a great game.
