one of my favorite games

i playes the first jak and daxter game , and it was great. i have to admit , this game i much more mature than the first one , but still the humor in this game is great. also the atmosphere in this game is wonderful , and there are many cool levels in here . the graphics are the best iv'e ever seen in a game .also you will meet alot of new and old characters in this game , and the storyline is simply great . there's salso dark jak , which means that when you pick up enough balls of dark eco , you can temporarily turn into a real powerful monster with alll kinds of special attacks , which is really powerful. you also have 4 gund in this game with a few mods to them , and you can also take control of all the flying cars around you called zoomers , and it's very fun flying around haven city with one . i strongly recommend that you buy this game, it's a very very fun and well done game and i enjoyed it very much .

I really like Ratchet and clank and I wanted to get one of the Jak and Daxter games. But I need to know which is better Jak and Daxter or Jak 2. Also, WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your time and will someone please respond.

This game was great! I borrowed it from my friend. I was supposed to give it back in 2 days but i kept asking to let me keep it for a little while longer eventually he forgot and i ended up keeping it for a month.I loved the graphics.This was a darker side of Jak that made him so cool.Daxter is bigger.(and fatter)It was a little mix of Gta,because you can steal cars and kick people out of their cars.I love flying away from the Krimzon Guards in high speed chases.Dark Jak just gives you a whole new look of Jak.I like jumping in cars set them on fire and then get close to a bunch of Krimzon Guards and jump out and let the cars explode and destroy the Krimzon Guards.Well back to Dark Jak.He has a bunch of great moves and when you go to the oracle you more moves for Dark Jak.Dark Jak is like a one man army.Oh,how could I could I forget the weapons?There's a shotgun a machine gun and a bazooka,I didn't beat the game so there might be more.I hope you like the game as much as i do.

Parent Warning: Your kids liked Jak and Daxter? Be careful, this game is way, way more violent than the first(Jak gets guns). Overall a good game, if nothing like the first.

Jak II is the best game i've played for PS2!

Jak II is one of the best games i've ever played for the PS2.
the pros are that you can go anywhere if you just want to fool around, also through out the game you acquire four guns, you can also purchase dark Jak moves from the oracle, it also has really great graphics and sound.

the cons are that it may get a bit tricky and hard for casual gamers, also the streets are way to tight and there's to much traffic.

Jak & Daxter Gone HARDCORE!!!!

Oh yeah!Finally,a sequel to the multi-million dollar Jak and Daxter!For kids under the age of ten I do not recommend this game for mild language and suggestive themes.But for you other gamers this game is probably the the most Hardcore game on the shelves...Plus daxter gets drunk in the middle of the game.Here are the pros and cons of Jak 2.

Pros:
.The game is harder
.More mature
.bigger areas

.More developed storyline and graphics
.Jak's clothes are better looking
.Daxter disses(and pisses) people more often
Cons:
.to confusing map
.Game gets repetitive getting sent on missions after missions
.You recieve your guns late in the game
.getting the jet-board is mind boggling
.need security passes
.getting the Vulcan Fury is the hardest thing on Earth!
.it's lame if you hit a guard the whole city goes bananas!
.Metal heads are too hard to beat!(especially at the pumping station)

I got Jak II for Christmas and started to play the game a few days later. I got far fast, not to say this game is to easy at all. I have gotten stuck on about three levels so far but my friend got me past them. I have never been too good at any video game but am at Jak II.
Its challenging but not super hard.

This is a very good game! The graphics are exellent, the plot is great, and it had a lot of surprises for me in it. However, when I first rented it at Blockbuster, the cover said that it was rated E, not T (but I think it said T on the back of it) so I had no idea Jak would cuss. That sort of disappointed me, since I am only 11 and I don't like to hear horrible words like those (even though I know Jak is really furious), especially when you think the game is rated E. I also do think that Jak cusses when he doesn't really need to.

What also gave this four stars rather than five was the fact that, since I am a diabetic, I can sometimes have sudden mood swings, and when playing Jak 2, I had a lot because the game started out really hard and just got worse. I mean, who would want to do the same mission nearly 30 times? The only thing that kept me going was the fact that I wanted to see what happened next.

I also got angry at the beginning because I was completely lost, and later on I found out I just had to look at the icons on the mini-map to find out where I needed to go.

Also, you can barely hear what people are saying when they're talking to you through your communicator. For people who are worried about missing something important, don't fret. They pretty much only congratulate you for completing a mission or something on the communicator.

Even though it has some problems, I find that you have a lot of freedom of where you go (despite the situation in the game) and the first two missions aren't as hard as the other ones.

Overall, a very good game, but if you have sudden mood swings or a lot of high blood sugar numbers, maybe you should consider not buying this game (especially if you're a novice video game player and cannot play really tough games).

what is this lame garbage. yes i will admit this is an ok game but theres so many flaws. for instance what the heck is up with the difficulty level its crazy. this game is soooo hard, and its not just hard. rachet and clank going commando is hard this is just plain insane. youre in a portal surrounded by huge robots and have to kill bunches of them than highjek a car this games difficulty level is out of control. the characthers suck the music is bad and so much veichletraviling i would like to be on the ground once in a while. not only that but whaT the heck is going on they have swearing in the cut scenes and daxter the little fuzzball that he is is getting behind the triger of a machine gun. forget about this crap and go get rachet and clank gc instead. its a game thats hard but not just plain unreasonably insane hard like this hunk of junk.
