this is a perfect game, you can steal cars beat up things like metal heads and the clips are pretty funny, because of daxter. if you dont own it then you should.

Get this. Most people out there don't like this game either because its too hard or its too GTAish. Youngins should stay out of this game. And people who are very bad at games should stay away from this game also. I wouldn't call this the best game ever because its not. People who say this game has bad graaphics are wrong. Thye've only saw screenshots of this game and already jump to conclusions. I, myself am a hardcore gamer, and find this game somewhat amusing, challenging, and fun. It all matter in taste if you really want this game. If you hate GTA and swear words than by all means stay away from this game. If you are a hardcore gamer than, join the club.

This is the best game of all time. People think its frustrating, I admit I was frustrated on some missions, then I realized it was my own stupidity. Despite the bad content(mild language and violence) this game can be played by all ages. Heck I'm only twelve and I'm on the last boss. And don't think I'm some person who spends all his life on video games. My friends are 10 times better at all sorts of games (Street Fighter, Goldeneye,Super Smash Bros., and Zelda)
It has an awesome story, heroes to love, villains to hate, great graphics, huge enviroments, hilarious dialogue, and cool and recognizable voices (Some of the actors include Phil Lamarr and Clancy Brown of Justice League fame). Jak is probably the coolest character ever, especially when he turns into Dark Jak. This is the greatest game I have ever played and I highly recommend you buy it.

Well, if i had to comment on this game as a right of a citizen of the United States of America, then i would probably make it very long and boring. And so in my attempt i am going to do just that, when that signifies being long and boring. They say that the maximum amount of words is a 1000 words but actually you can reach 1000 words rather quickly if you really really really really stall a lot. When someone asks you to write a review such of this, someone incounters a minor problem in what to say. Do you talk about the game? No! that could ruin the game for others. In just talking of the game you could accidently reveal the ending and that would be a horrible, terrible, bad, disaster. So in looking at the evidence that was stated above and searching deep with in myself for the answer i had made up my mind to write nothing of the game. I apoligize to those with small minds, who cannot comprehend the complex thought patterns and underlying moral lessons stated in this brief review. But then you have to ask, what does the word review signify? Is it just symbolism for the voicing of a opinion, or is it infact its own special noun born to represent the free will of the masses. I believe that this, this word review is a very special word which lets someone reveal all kinds of emotion and mindless babble. And that brings me to end my review on the thoguht process traveled by millions of people in a couple of seconds facing the option to write a review. Thank you and don't bomb my hometown.

hey... rented this game... cool game... but I don't have the $ to buy it... saving though... and it's on my wishlist (http://jimsstuff.itgo.com/wish_list.html)

cool that it's a sequal to Jak And Daxter (also 5 stars)
EDUCATIONAL... you can put sub titles on in ENGLISH, and set the spoken languge to french/italian/japanese/korean/spainish/OTHERS

This game was an overall good game. It still has somewhat the feel of the first one but it is very different. It is mission-based and you complete the game by completing missions for each character. You have to complete all the current missions to go on. Each mission can take between 20 minutes and 2 hours to do. They are frustrating but they give you a lot of gameplay and experience. This is a game that you need to buy to complete. If you can give 1-3 hours a day to game playing, it will take you a couple weeks to beat. THere are about 60 long missions. By the end of the game, I had 34 1/2 hours on the clock. Yes, there is a clock that calculates how long you played.

My only main complaint is that getting through the city can be a drag. If you don't have the security passes, getting through the city can take a while, since it's not laid out like vice city, it's more of a maze. But this a minor thing and I feel this is a worthy buy.

It may be hard but it is fun

Ive never been much of a console gamer, and this was the first ps2 game i have ever owned, but anyway ive had the game for about 3 days now and am a little aover halfway through it, many people are saying that the game is extremely difficult and that the developers should have made it easier, while the missions can be frustrating you have the ability to repeat them over and over and you save all your items youve collected like ammo and dark eco, so there really isnt a problem you just have to have patience. Also many people talk about the dark undertones of the game, as compared to the origional, however since ive never played the origional i cant say anything, but I find the game to be well suited in both dramatic elements(JAK) and comical elements(Daxter) they mess quite well and balance eachother out. And finally for those who complain about the size of the city, just stop bitching and start ramming one of the 2 seat hovers into the little speeder bikes and watching them explode al a GTA3, its quite satisfying.
Over all the game is well executed with beautiful graphics even a pc gamer can appreciate and surprisingly enogh the voice actors are great save for a few annoying moments.

PS... a side note for those that complain about the tank mission i beat it in 3 trys and this is the first ps2 game ive ever played besides gta3.

This game is one of the only games in the world that my whole family enjoys. It is beutifully animated; andwhats this? Jak talks!!! I was hooked as soon as i got my first gun and drove my first hovercraft. I recomend this game to anyone who craves to get back at the producers and makers of the infeririar "Jak and Daxter" with the only attacks of a whimpy punch or kick.

I also reccomend it for people who enjoyed "Grand Theft Auto:Vice City". You ca hijack police vehicles and everything

this game stinks like crazy I hate the wesel and dude with the fro and the game is rated m for blood gore strong langue,and to much reterds running around with water pistols and bozakas and the only thing they use it for is hiting people on the head and making the person that they hit retards.
PLEASE dont buy it for your child unless the are mental or like watching mental weasles.
