Wow is a fun game if your 12 years old.The graphics are to cartoonish, game play to easy.Plus the main reason i don't like WOW is that the players are rude and obnoxious.Final Fantasy XI is a much better game with more story and variety that WOW could never have.I played WOW for 2 hours on friends account and fell asleep right away. WOW = BORING!!!
Another thing about is that your stuck with one job too!! ;; At least in Final Fantasy XI you have a subjob that helps alot and one character has access to more then 15 jobs as well as keeping all your rank points and everything! WOW sucks!!! NUFF SAID!!!!!

i felt up a man for THIS?

If you like a game where you have no need to group the entire time you play the game get this game. If you want to play a game where someone who plays 2 hours a day can get same gear as someone who plays 10 get this game. If you like to play a game with graphics comparable to some Nintendo 64 titles get this game. If you want to play a game with a bunch of 11 year olds running around all day get this game. For anyone who wants to play a challenging game that you cant max your character in a week get Everquest 2.

I was fortunate enough to play WoW during the stress test. It was absolutely amazing! It is the best and most involved game I've ever played. I can see myself playing this game years from now. I am already having withdrawals since the servers went offline at 6pm today. It is jam packed with awesome features. This is a must have game. Keep checking the game website for updates on open beta testing so you can get a sneak peek before it's actually released. (for those of you who played, my name was Chainmail)

Experience the enchanting World Of Warcraft!

I just spent the past week participating in the Stress Test Beta of World Of Warcraft and now begins the long wait until the mid November retail release. I feel as if I have read 3 chapters of a marvelous book and had it taken away from me... the anticipation of getting it back again and continuing with the story is exquisite torture!

World Of Warcraft is a beautiful experience. The artwork is gorgeous, the music complements and enhances the settings without being intrusive, the game play is crisp and exciting and just plain fun! After a hard day of thrashing monsters and gathering experience points you can go to a town or city, sell off some of your booty and relax in an Inn or Pub with your friends. Want to buy some fancy new equipment? Learn Tailoring, Enchanting, Mining, Herbalism, Alchemy or any of the dozen or so other Trade Skills that teach you how to gather and create useful and lucrative items.

The "feel" of the game is more relaxing and fun than most other games I've played. If combat is what you crave then there are plenty of opportunities for that or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery or make some gold selling your crafts. The players seem to be more friendly and helpful too, many is the time when a passing stranger stopped by to lend a hand in a fight knowing that they would get no reward for it. Blizzard has created a World that you WANT to be immersed in!

One thing that should be mentioned is that you will have to pay a monthly subscription fee to play the retail version of the game. Final details haven't been released yet but I would expect the game to come with a free 1 month account and thereafter cost $10-$15 a month. For less than you would pay for a single night out at the movies you get a whole month of quality gaming, a bargain if you ask me!

World Of Warcraft is without a doubt going to become an instant Classic and the benchmark for which all future games will be measured. Whether you are an RPG veteran or have never played a computer game in your life you will enjoy World Of Warcraft!

A worthy online game to play !

Updated Review : World Of Warcraft is one of those online games that will keep you locked in with some decent content . The graphics in wow are a bit different to other games like eq2 or d&d online . The audio seems to be verry well done and blinds in to the game verry good. The player controls is verry well done and verry little time needed to learn them. There is a good amount of pvp that can be done in the game if that is your way to play . The pve side of wow is really good , plenty of areas to move to based on your characters level . The class choices you have is verry good . You are able to pick from a warlock to a rogue as well many others . The quests that can be done in wow are easy but there are others that need the player to travel around alot or do some collecting or even kill. The game can be played however you wish to , can take your time leveling or do alot of grinding.
Also most of the players in wow are decent and verry cool but you also got those few that dont care about others and cause problems.
One of the biggest problems in wow has been corrected for the most part with the release of patch 2.1.0 wich now includes instant reporting so issues of whatever kind can be delt with . One that im happy to see go away is the amount of gold seller spams. Since the release far as i go not seen one tell from a lvl 1 warrior passing me a gold sellers website url and other info . This issue still might happen to some but the amount that has went from 4-5 or more tells a day from different companys to verry few or none at all for most players .
World Of Warcraft is alot more funner now for many players since alot no longer have to deal with the gold selling spam .

If you have checked out wow before and delt with the gold sellers or some other issue , It is worth comming back to wow and check out all the changes with the most recent patch 2.1.0 . Happy Hunting !

This game is worth every penny

I got a chance to play in the first stress test, and I was willing to pay full price for the unfinished beta version! WOW looked and played better in beta than most mmorpgs play when they are released. A great game, especially if you are a fan of the WarCraft series.

Don't even think about buying something else! This is the best.

I've played a few other MMORPGS (I just bought Guild Wars and I'm very dissapointed) and I can say without a doubt that this is the best one out there. Not only that, this is the most fun I've had playing games since I was a kid in grade school...OK, 'maybe' Tekken 2 during college, but this game is the best in years.

What makes it so fun? It's the way they mix all the elements together. It's so seamless and involving and *fun* that you don't even realize 4 hours has passed until you look up at your clock. You don't have to be an uber-nerd or devote 12 hours a day to play this game. It is SO accessible. There are so many neat little things you can do besides just hack-and-slash at enemies. There are always people online running around, and it's pretty cool to just run up to someone, join the group and finish that quest that I couldn't do solo. There's no clunky interface, just fun.

If you have *any* interest in gaming and are looking to try an MMO game, get World of Warcraft. If you don't and get some other game, you're going to kick yourself.
