BURNOUT #3 ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taking down people is the best part of the game in my opinion. Getting high on Boost overloads and drifting straight into your enemies and making them go 50 ft. into the air is what this game is all about. This is the best racing game I've ever played. The first time I got it I played it for 5 hours straight. As soon as you start playing it, you're sucked in. After a while my fingers got really tired of the Road Rage hype, so I started doing crash mode. Don't even get me started on this. I sat there for another 2 hours figuring out ways to make 40-car pileups!! The crashbreaker boost is great. When enough cars crash, you get to use it. When you do, an explosion occurs at about the magnitude as a stick of dynamite. It comes in handy when you are far away from another intersection. It launches you about another 75 ft.!! The best plus is aftertouch, though. I was in a race, and I was in front, I crashed and caused a massive pile-up with all of my competitors included! And even if you don't beat races, and do road rage all the time, you won't get bored with the same level because it is SO ADDICTING AND EXCITING!!!! This is one of the best PS2 games I have ever played!!

For all those times you've been caught in rush hour gridlock with a road full of indecisive morons; dreaming you could just run a dozen or two of them up on the sidewalk or off of the nearest cliff.....this game....is for you.
What a great stress reliever !! Blast into a crowded intersection with a city bus...awesome. Pulverise the driver in the lane next to you until his car flips end over end 5 times and then explodes....yea, take that !! The detail is great, the cars are awesome, the tracks challenging without being too terribly impossible; this game is a great way to vent all of those everyday road frustrations...without running up your insurance rates or ending up in prison. I would recommend it to anyone !!

Wow this game is dope. The graphics is great, the music is heavy metal and rock, which fits the mood well. I usually listen to hip-hop and pop. The crash engine is awesome, its different everytime! The tracks are cool with good amount of details.

The driving is fast in this game! You get that Wipeout and F-zero feeling. Then the best part is that you get to crash into other cars which gives you more nitro. The crash is more like a offensive weapon, kinda like missles and stuff from Wipeout but you do it with your car! Then you get to see the CARNAGE, then zip right back into the game without losing speed, very arcade like lol! I hope young kids who play this game dont drive like this in real life when they get their license!

Sometimes when I drive on the Freeways in Los Angeles, crazy drivers would cut me off, etc... I wish I had a Nitro equipped Semi Truck so I could ram everyone on the Freeway over! This game makes my dream come true! CREAM people without dying in real life and without going to jail!

Overall this game is a must buy. Its on-sale at Target for $(..). GO BUY IT!

The thing I love most about Burnout 3 is the variety. There are several different racing modes you can play:

1. Race - obviously, there has to be a mode where you just race, but it's pretty fun racing. You rack up points and earn boost for taking out, tailgating, and smashing into other opponents, drifting, and driving into oncoming traffic.
2. Road Rage - your goal is to take out as many opponent cars as possible before your car is completely totalled. You can also play against a friend, where it's first to get ten takeouts, or last man standing. This is perfect for those days when you come home all stressed out from sitting in gridlock all day.
3. Crash - My personal favorite, there are 100 crash junctions taken from sections of the different courses in the game. You have a specified period of time to cause as much damage as possible. This can also be played with a friend, either co-op or against each other.

If you've played previous Burnout games and were not impressed, I would still recommend this game because I've done the same. Probably the coolest new feature of Burnout 3 is the aftertouch feature, which allows you to control your car in slow motion after you crash, making it easier to take out opponents. This also comes in handy in Crash mode.

My only complaint, really, is that the massive amount of traffic in the game makes racing extremely difficult at times. It wouldn't be so bad if your car crashed every time you even bump a car that is not in the race. If you can get beyond that, though, this game is worth many hours of fun gameplay.

I love this game so much. This game is worth every penny. Crash mode is the greatest mode. The online is great. Everything on this game ism so great. This game is better than Need For Speed Underground 2.

This game is excellent! You will like it if you like to:

1)Race cars
2)Smash into cars
3)Make a big crash into cars, trucks and other traffic
4)Listen to rock music (especially while driving)

What more can I say? It's a wicked game!!! Oh yeah, don't try anything you see in the game at home or anyone elses home. (Apart from driving)

I just got this game a little while, and I have to say that this the the best game in the burnout series. The gameplay is so cool that you will be glued to your seat while playing this game. Many people say that this game is very hard and I have to agree with them. But once you get the hang of it, you won't let it go. This is the only racing game that has more than 60 cars which are divided into series. (Compact series, muscle series, coupe series, sports series, super series, special series, and the hardhitting heavyweights). The cars are so awesome that it wouldn't even take you that long to get used to them. The graphics are the best than any other racing game. The game modes in this game are Burnout World Tour where you race and crash around the world in three continents. The more gold medals you win the more cars and levels you will unlock. Isn't that amazing? In crash mode, you actually smash throught cars to earn money. The more money you earn, the more cars you will unlock. In this mode you can actually collect pickups to earn more bonus money. You could also control your car while it is in the air and take you to places where you could earn a lot of money. That is so cool. Race mode is back. The new aspect of this game are takedowns. You actually crash into your rivals and they will slide towards the wall and you will score a takedown. Couldn't this game get any better? There are many other new things in this game, but that is for you to find out.

Now let me tell you gamers. If you are planning on renting this game, trust me, do not rent it, you need to but this game. If you are a fan of the Need for Speed series, or the Midnightclub series you would also like this game. If you like cars flying all over the place, this is the game for you. This is the best racing game in video game history.

This is pretty good. Not as good as Burnout 2, but worth trying. The previews for Burnout 4 look good and we might see a return to more true driving competition. This one is about, well, takedowns. To me, that is not all that interesting.
