it's cheat time with Burnout 3:Takedown. i completely agree with the reviewer Fitz. read Fitz's review, he thoroughly explains how this cheats in the extreme in detail. by the way, to all the programmers of this game at EA. GO TO HELL!!!! YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF MORONS. IF YOU CAN'T DESIGN A GAME TO PROVIDE LEGITIMATE COMPETITION WITHOUT CHEATING, YOU'RE NOT VERY ADEPT PROGRAMMERS ARE YOU?

I absolutely love this game. That is saying a lot, as I have never been a video game player. I have never owned a system, and therefore never really learned to play them well, so I just never liked them. But then my friends bought this game, and I fell in love. The whole point of the game is to cause as much damage as possible, and have extreme road rage. It is easy and fun.

The one bad thing about this game is the soundtrack, but even that issue can be solved by turning down the volume on your television.

Beats the crap out of Burnout: Revenge

For those of you familiar with the Burnout series, this game is a must-buy. I've played both Burnout: Revenge as well as this one and I can definitely say that this one is better. Your cars are more realistic and towards the end of the game, you can unlock and play with circuit racers, which are just sweet rides to race on the streets. Also, in comparison to Burnout: Revenge, this game has more tracks. They're both equally good in quality.

This is the kind of game that everyone can play. from the occasional gamer looking for a fun arcade style racer, to the die-had gamer looking for a challenge. Burnout 3 is a game anyone with a pulse should love. The sense of speed is amazing; coupled with some gorgeous crash mechanics, and a roster of cars ranging from the ordinary to the super, the game has plenty to offer.

This game is a bit too violent for my taste. I should have researched it more before giving it to my grandsons, who love it.

Taking down people is the best part of the game in my opinion. Getting high on Boost overloads and drifting straight into your enemies and making them go 50 ft. into the air is what this game is all about. This is the best racing game I've ever played. The first time I got it I played it for 5 hours straight. As soon as you start playing it, you're sucked in. After a while my fingers got really tired of the Road Rage hype, so I started doing crash mode. Don't even get me started on this. I sat there for another 2 hours figuring out ways to make 40-car pileups!! The crashbreaker boost is great. When enough cars crash, you get to use it. When you do, an explosion occurs at about the magnitude as a stick of dynamite. It comes in handy when you are far away from another intersection. It launches you about another 75 ft.!! The best plus is aftertouch, though. I was in a race, and I was in front, I crashed and caused a massive pile-up with all of my competitors included! And even if you don't beat races, and do road rage all the time, you won't get bored with the same level because it is SO ADDICTING AND EXCITING!!!! This is one of the best PS2 games I have ever played!!
