Halo Rocks

Actually for the overall rating I rate Halo four and a half.

Halo is without a doubt one of Microsoft's best releases in a long time. it has a great plot, an excellent multiplayer mode and a wide variety of weapons and vehicles to choose from. In normal FPS' you can only travel on foot but in Halo, you have an awesome variety of vehicles to drive and fight in. Halo's only glaring fault is the fact that it lags if you don't have a super powerful graphic card. But by lowering the resolution (which didn't work for me), or adding a special command line parameter (which you can find by Googling) you can turn Halo into an all around, super fun, first person shooter. Buy this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After playing Pathways and the Marathon series for the mac, I felt right at home with Halo. It has the same feel and progression. Throw in some tidbits from Oni, and there you have it. Bungie has a unique way of telling stories and setting action games. I'm dissapointed that the game was delayed for so long in coming to the PC. It's been a big hit on XBox, and that's fine. Time passed has let other games bypass it. I suppose Doom 3 will put the final nail into Halo after an all too brief run. For the right price, whatever that is for you, it's worth some space on your hard drive. For those of us that miss phragging the Phor, the covenant will make suitable alternates. :)

This game i have always wanted but finally got it. It is better than the demo. I was amazed at the multiplayer and how many people played now i just got back from playing counter strike and i luv that game too but i am hooked. There are over 15 maps and you can hold 16 players. Yes that is a little small but you get used to it. But back to what i was saying U will luv this game i am sure. Even militar fps fan will find something to like about this game. That is why i give it 5 stars. I you could give 100 i would give it that too.

This game is simply one of the best ! The story is excellent and the graphic are amazing ! With my P4 3 GHz with 512 Mb of memory and ATI Radeon 9600XT I can have up to a resolution of 1024 x 768. Higher the game is bit too slow. That's the only bad point of it. So set up your computer correctly and play the game !

Ive played this game for xbox and i say its awsome the alien A.I. is very good and the vehicles and weapons are devestatingly neat. the graphics are also very very good, but you hardly pay attention to that what with all the exsplosions and action going on. I think that it is great for big war buffs and i plan on checking into the PC version soon and there are really no flaws in it but thats just my opinion you should find out for yourself and even though it's exspensive it's worth the money, and also dont forget Halo 2 coming soon.

the computer version

This game has been highly acclaimed by many many people and now that it's out for PC people don't seem to have quite the same respect for it. It's still the same game play with the same story jsut for PC. The game play is still incredible and as crazy as on xbox. It's a great game, atleast it made it to PC.

Best game ever. That's pretty much it. The only bad thing, an i mean only, is if you just plain don't like first person shooters. it has lots of different maps, the multiplayer is amazing, with up to 16 players, depending on your internet speed. You can also have LAN battles, and Direct IP battles.
The flood can get really annoying at some parts, and just when you think it is over, you meet 343 guilty spark. MAN is that part annoying. all you have to do though is bear through it, and it ais an amazingly good game. Oh also try to challenge yourself, and beat campaign before you play multiplayer, even though i didn't because multi is so fun. One last thing. If you go to multi. , and there is no one on the list...hit "Get List"

I admit the game is addictive for Xbox, but for PC, it doesn't even come close. Lets start with the story-line, I will give you one word bad. Graphics, are better for PC if your computer has a very expensive video & sound card. The only new thing added to the PC version is a flying vehicle. The Single-player has a few missions which are long and boring, and the ,Multi-player is ok, if ur computer has good upgrades. Like I said before don't be fooled its not all that good.

This game has more maps,vehicles and more Guns like the Fuel Rod Gun. And you can play halo Online with Gamspy Arcade. On Multiplayer I can Ride Banshees and the Warthogs with Rocket Launcher. This game has more stuff than the one on Xbox.
