This was a great game! I loved the different weapons and charecters! Playing with three charecters rather then one was a great idea. It had Great graphics and wonderful action. I also liked how it had parts of the video mixed in with the game! This was one of the best games that ive played!

Go and get it now!!

This game is great! it's challinging for people around 11-12, but it's really fun. If you like lord of the rings buy this game it won't let you down!

P.S. You can not choose your character till the 3rd level so don't expect to.

THIS GAME IS THE BOMB! YOU GET TO PLAY AS ARAGORN (STRIDER), LEGOLAS, OR GIMLI THROUGHOUT 11 AMAZING LEVALS. THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT. I THINK THE ONLY SETBACKS IS THE SHORTNESS AND THE FACT THAT YOU CANT PLAY AS GANDALF OR ANY OF THE HOBBITS. I WOULD DEFININTLY RECAMEND THIS GAME TO ANY GAMER!

This game is alot of fun!Except its very easy to beat.But that doesnt change anything!you can play as Gimli,Arogan,or legolas.If you beat the game then beat arogans challenge,then beat islours challenge you can play as islour!Overall it was one of my favorite games!

Wonderful, first class game! I have fun making Gimli die in the fire (not that I don't like him). The graphics are excellent and the sound adds a great deal to the play. One simple hint for those who have just purchased the game: to use Orc Bane, you must wait for your sword or axe to make contact with a weapon during a parry before initiating the sequence. Some say that the replay value of the game is limited, even though it's worth the purchase price to go through all the levels with all the characters once. However, for true LOTR fans, the joy of Middle Earth is there each time; there is something new to see in the wonderful settings each time through. Enjoy.

Bought completely on impulse and I liked it more than I thought I would. Normally, movie based games suck. This was the exception. The game can take anywhere from 6 hours to a week to beat the game. Took me a few hours, took my friend about a week.

The graphics on this game are well up to today standards and the backgrounds are very atractive and the movies snip cut-ins are cool. The characters look quite a bit like the actors and the actor voice-overs help with the feel of the this game. Very movie based. Where as Fellowship was more book based, this is so Pete Jackson's vision.

Packed with good extras. You have to beat certain levels to unlock actor interviews like Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom or Elijah Wood. Personally I found it fun to watch them in the studio doing the game voice-overs and seeing how Elijah Wood zones out when playing video games. A preview for the Two Towers movie and scenes from it are integrated into the game too.

Play as Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli or an unlockable character, which I won't tell you who, it'd ruin it. The character you chose will sometimes be accompanied by 1 of your companions, so you won't always be alone, but it's not often. You start at the Battle of the Last Aliance as Isildur to kind of get a feel for the game, then go into your first real test as Aragorn and keeping Frodo alive at Weather Top, then the fun begins as you start with the player of your chosing at the Gates of Moria. Gain points by doing special combos for you can purchase upgrades that you will need as the game progresses. Protect villages from Uruk-hai, keep Helm's Deep from falling and keep your comrades and you alive.

The game is fun. If you like search and destroy kinda stuff, you'll like it, if you like fighting, you'll like it, if you liked the Lord of the Rings, you'll like it.

I THINK THIS IS THE NEWEST GAME I JUST PURCHASED IT IN THE MALL THE OTHA DAY AND I THOUGHT IT WAS TIGHT. I MEAN THE GRAPHICS ARE SO ILL AND AWESOME.I LIKE THIS GAME ALOT AND HOPE EVRYBODY GOES OUT AND BUYS IT. I RENTED THE THE FELLOWSHIP RING AND I DIDNT REALLY LIKE THAT ONE. This has all the elements of a video game masterpiece!The 1 and ONLY bad thing about this game is not being able to see treebeard! and as for whoever did amazon[.com]s review you can go back and get all the upgrades using the directional pad. I love this game so much that i only put it down to tell people how incredible it is. And for u diehard fans of Legolas get ready for a challenge when you play his Secret level(that darn sauroman hint hint)

Ok, I originally bought this game with the idea that it was going to be a mindless action game with no point other than to please tolkien fans. I was way wrong. It is non-stop action. Its got a system of upgrades, and the graphics are undeniably the best on the ps2 yet. Try it out to see what i mean.
