Two towers is one of the greatest games i have played. It has levels from the fellowship of the ring and the two towers. This game is based off the movie. U can play as Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli and one bonus character but u have to earn that one. There are three difficulties: Easy,normal,and expert. If u are a lord of the rings fan u will DEFINITELY want to buy! Regular gamers will like it also. You get to fight wringwraiths, orcs, goblins, urak-hais, archer orcs, cave trolls, forest trolls, Lurtz, The watcher,and the Wolves of Isengard. Gimli fights with a giant axe and throws small axes, Legolas' specialty is bow and arrows,and he has two long blade knives, and Aragorn has a long sword and can shoot bow and arrows. If u have not seen the movie then this game will spoil some of it for you. The last three levels are the best they have for major combat! After u kill an enemy, u get a rating on the amount of times u get hurt. There are four ratings:fair,good,excellent, and perfect. The finishing off move is used to kill the enemy when it is on the ground. After u beat a level u can buy with ur points a new move or better defending and attack skills. U can earn special interviews with the cast and producers on the game and how they made the game. They have between levels movie clips that go with the storyline of the game which is based off the movie. After u beat the game u earn the cheats but u can only use them after u have completed the game. This game requires a memory card to save up to how far u have gotten. The beginning sequences of movie clips can be quite tedious and annoying so if u save u can skip that too. It introduces the movie and the beginning of the story. I definitely recommend this game!!

the lord of the rings is not bored of the rings

When I first got this game I was so excited.I had been waiting for this game for six months.This game has everything in it.You get to be four characters-Aragorn,Legolas,Gimili,and Isildor.This game is one of those hack-and-slash games were you get to duke it out with a bunch of enemies such as uruk-hai,orcs,goblins, archers, cave trolls,and wargs.The graphics are a little off but otherwise it's a great game.Even if you don't like lord of the rings you can still rent or buy it. Overall it's a great game.

This is what Fellowship should have been.

This game is an amazing mix of the first two LOTR movies. It plays from the middle of the original to the end of the second as a movie and constantly and semelesly changes into epic battles of large proportions. This game would have gotten 5 stars if it had multiplayer options. Oh well, there's always a sequel. Just have to wait until next November I suppose.

this game is good but the graphics arent to hot."it is a really great game all but they need to work on a little is the graphics...."said my best friend.this game is fun and challenging.the trolls are a pain in the ass.they r way to hard.the action is awsome though.but the gameplay, oh my gosh it is one of the greatest pieces of greatness ive ever played!the bows in this game are awsome.the orcs are pretty scary.in the lord of the rings the two towers you play as the noble aragorn, the swift elvish legolas, or the character gimli. you play in the quest as one of the team in an epic adventure to save middle earth!

there are much better games out there

Graphics really aren't that and the game gets really hard in the last levels. The first time you fight a boss, you'll definatly lose because there is a certain techinique in beating them and the first time, you'll have no idea what to do. The powering up system is very hard to get a lot and the moves aren't very helpful. short. If you haven't seen both the movies, you'll have no idea what's going on and it will look very stupid. You get extras from getting far and that is good. Seems cheesy and legolas looks nothing like orlando bloom.

This game is the best and it is better than that other ... Lord of the Rings game. That other one is the stupid LOTR kind. This game you get to be Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn and ISILDUR. He is the secret character. I already beat it and it was hella fun. I give this Five Stars. I can't wait until the movie comes out to the stores. The game is pretty much exaxtly like the movie. The movie was also [cool]. Everyone should go out and buy this game.

This game is a great game, if you are looking for a action game this is the game to get. The graphics are good(better than most games)on this game. The creepy part of this game is every time you are going to get ambushed this music comes on its make you all freaked out that someone is in your room. Sometimes when you fight Sauron's minions you sometimes have no idea what to do. All in all this game is a good game to own a to add to your PS2 collection. The down side to this game is the some of the hard characters to beat sometimes.

The only reason I gave this game more than one star is the graphics, which are pretty decent. However, the rest of the game is another story. First off it is amazingly short, it took me one day to beat it, (and I was only playing it when the movie I was watching was on commercial). It consists of 12 "levels" where the only objective is to kill orcs, you cannot adjust your camera angle (which leads to very awkward battling), and you have to memorise complicated "moves" (for instance one was XXO^^R2) to even have a chance in Helm's Deep, They do let you change characters, however Aaragon is the only useful one (I tried the other 2, but then you have to memorise even more ridiculous moves)
To sum it all up, it is basicly short clips of the movie, where they let you play in a few scenes. The total game-play is 10 hours MAX I beat it in 6..
I was truly disappointed in this game. However, it is worthy of renting for fans of the movie.

I am a Lord of the Rings enthusiast, Ive watched the movie 20 times (date today, 9/12. I luv legolas!) and the first time I saw it, I thought: this move would make a great game! well, from all the reviews, It's lived up to that. I for one will probably play as legolas, since he can fire arrows about two or three times a second, but with this game, you can't win by pushing the same buttons repeatedly. You need to do combos of hits and different combinations, or the enemy will catch on to what you're doing. Also, don't think that the troll in Balin's toom is the only one in the game. They can pop up anywhere. I mean ANYWHERE. The game developers said that themselves. Just don't turn your back on the screen, and you'll be fine. :D

Excellent game. Lots of action and great controls. If you loved like the movies, you'll love the game. Great Fighting game if your not a fan the series. No fighting game has the same style that I know of.
